Beautiful location at the beach. Fernando was easy contact and reacted quickly with any issues. I would recommend a stay here.

A super convenient apartment in 2onderful location

This is a wonderful two bedroom apartment located a few steps away from the beach yet away from the crowds. It is well equipped and has everything necessary for even a prolonged stay. Fernando is super helpful and responsive. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to come back.

Simply fantastic, we would return anytime

We stayed for the whole of November and loved our time here. The view is amazing, the balcony is huge and we enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings there. It gets the sunshine all day and is just perfect for some winter sunshine spotting passing dolphins. The flat has been freshly decorated and is in very good condition. Parking is easy in the rear courtyard of the flats or in the low season in the road and lay-by outside. The neighbourhood is quiet and relaxing with an excellent restaurant a few yards away. The busier sea front is a fifteen minute walk and the local circular bus 1 stops just across the road. The flat has a reliable lift for easy access with luggage and shopping. The back bedroom has twin beds which are very comfortable. The main bedroom is huge with a double and twin bed and access onto the balcony. The two shower rooms are both in the centre lobby area. The larger one also houses the washing machine. There is plenty of hot water and lots of storage throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a new induction hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee percolator. The WiFi is very reliable throughout the apartment and the lounge, tv and dining room are cheerful and modern if you have to spend a cooler evening inside. Finally there is Fernando, kind, helpful and very responsive. He was kind enough to leave us coffee, milk and wine as we arrived on a national holiday when the shops were closed. The Mercadona supermarket is 5 minutes by car or bus.

Luxury apartment in an ideal location

Although we had visited Almunecar several times in the past, this was our first time in this lovely apartment on Cotobro beach. We spent a month here over Christmas and the New Year and loved every minute. The description and the 'photos on the website very accurately describe the apartment and the facilities. It was clean and well-maintained and in a very quiet position. On our previous visits to Almunecar we often had trouble finding parking spaces close to the apartment we had rented, so on this occasion the guaranteed private parking space in the shade at the back of the apartment was very useful. A big attraction for us was the balcony which was large enough for 2 sunbeds, a table and 4 chairs, a small bench and at the other end of the balcony a further table and 2 chairs. We spent much of our time on the balcony enjoying the views, soaking up the sun and on one occasion watching a couple of dolphins. There is one restaurant on Cotobro beach which serves excellent meals although the service is a little poor on occasions. Within about 20 minutes walk along the coast road there are a number of restaurants which we would highly recommend - Dante's, JR's, and particularly Don Olivio's. A little further along is La Dorada de Planta which is ideally placed on the beach and serves excellent fish, although on each occasion we used it the vegetables were over-cooked and sometimes cold. Further into town there a many good cafes and restaurants serving either just tapas or full meals - they were all good, we did not have any poor meals. Those away from the front were much more "Spanish" and even better value for money. Our overall favourite was Los Geraneos - a small typically Spanish restaurant, excellent service and serving amazing food. A little pricey but still excellent value for money. You probably need to book a table on most nights. Our friends have already booked the apartment for 2018 and we will certainly be returning probably in 2019.

Great spot in Cotobro, minutes walk to Almunecar

My wife and I recently spent one month i in this apartment and ejnoyed urselves thoroughly. The apartment is bright, clean, well mainained and amply spacious for the two of us. As the picture shows the terrrace looks over the beach and is most enjoyable. It is just a few steps across the road to the beach. Secure parking is available in the rear of the building, though at no point did we encounter anything that made us concerned for safety or security. There is a fully equipped kitchen, the wi fi worked without any difficulty. It was little more crowded when our two grown sons and their respective partners joined us for a week but not a problem. Ana and Fernando were quite responsive and helpful in regard to any questions we had. I did have the opportunity to meet with Fernando one afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed visiting with him. We had not been to this area before previously and found it totally to our liking. No doubt we will return and hopefully to this aprtment. The apartment, is located in Cotobro beach, a very pretty fifteen minute walk along the Mediterranean to Almunecar. We took this walk most every day, heading to the fresh fruit, vegetable, and seafood market. The Mercadona supermarket is convenient with a full selection. We enjoyed relaxing in Cotobro, going to the beach, walking into town, taking splendid day trips into the mountains. It is a town mostly catering to Spanish people, a beach town for Granada. There is not a lot of English spoken, which we were pleased about. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We also spent a week taking Spanish intensive lessons to improve our language skills. All in all, great spot for us.
