Situé dans un emplacement rural paisible entre Portpatrick et Stranraer, Laggansally Lodge fournit l'isolement total pour ceux qui cherchent à explorer les délices de la Rhins of Galloway. Plages, phares, terrains de golf et des célèbres jardins bénéficient d'un climat particulièrement doux, heureusement Midge assez libre. Les observateurs de la faune, les marcheurs et les cyclistes sont dans un vrai régal! Les occasions d'essayer votre main à la fois l'eau douce et la pêche en mer abondent.

est Laggansally un bungalow spacieux récemment construit avec d'excellents aménagement confortable de qualité et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter d'une maison loin de la maison, plus que peu plus. Nous fournissons tout, de la literie de luxe et des serviettes à bois pour le poêle à bois. La maison est chaleureuse avec chauffage central au fuel et un Rayburn moderne. Une vaste pelouse à l'avant de la maison, la faune étang (clôturé pour les tout-petits), et l'approche des bois avec un grand parking assurer une intimité totale. Notre petite ferme familiale est inférieure à un demi-mile away - se promener à travers et de rencontrer la ménagerie!

What a beautiful home , extremely clean, the views were just amazing and so peaceful. The home is very large with lots of storage and everything you needed , was great having 2 bathrooms, beds were very comfortably and very spacious , we took 2 dogs and they didn't want to come home, star gazing at night is a must , the hosts were super friendly and gave great recommendations, we will certainly be booking again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay….

Beautiful place. Superbly equipped for a family or even two families. The Lodge is wonderfully remote (up a long track) whilst still being close enough to the facilities of Stranraer. Joanna was a pleasure to deal with.

Special Christmas

Joanna was a wonderful host who made us feel like we were at home away from home. The property is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a quiet Christmas. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need! The wood burner in the livingroom made for a really cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful Stay in a gorgeous location

We had a fabulous two weeks at Laggansally. The house was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was very well equipped and the table was ideal as it was big enough for a 2000 piece jigsaw whilst still leaving plenty of room for four of us to eat / play games. Two good sized sofas in the lounge gave us plenty of space to spread out if we were watching tv although most of the time we were out and about or playing games. The location of the cottage was perfect for us - we like it quiet - so the long track to the house and big open garden were a boon. Anyone who loves wildlife can enjoy watching the bunnies, deer, toads ( or frogs?🤔), birds of prey from the window. Or have a wander up the track to the farm and meet the four legged and two legged residents there! Joanna and Andy are lovely and made us feel so welcome without being intrusive. The area is beautiful with plenty of walks and beaches. There are supermarkets in Stranraer (about 5 miles away) for stocking up, and Portpatrick has some lovely pubs if you fancy a meal out. We have stayed in a lot of holiday homes over the years and Laggansally is definitely up there in the top 3, possibly even top spot! We will definitely be back. ❤️❤️

Wir sind jedes Jahr in mindestens drei verschiedenen Ferienunterkünften und dieses Haus ist eines der besten bisher. Es ist absolut ruhig hier, man ist völlig allein und doch kann man innerhalb eines 30-Minuten-Radius wochenlang jeden Tag etwas Anderes machen, erst recht wenn man diesen Radius auf 60 Minuten erweitert.Das Haus ist sehr sauber, großzügig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man nur brauchen könnte. Die Betten sind sehr hochwertig und besonders bequem.In der näheren Umgebung gibt es viele Gärten, von denen man zumindest Glenwhan und Castle Kennedy unbedingt gesehen haben muss. Drei wunderbare Leuchttürme gibt es auf der Halbinsel und eine der schönsten Küstenlinien, die wir weltweit jemals gesehen haben.Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und schauen gelegentlich vorbei, um zu fragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein.Wir können uns keine einzige Sache vorstellen, die hier noch besser sein könnte.

A beautiful location, plenty of walks and only a short drive to amazing beaches and places to eat. The house has everything you need if you don’t want to venture out. A lovely part of the world with lots to see. I would definitely go back ..

Excellent location and property

Just back from a 5 day stay at Lagansally, the location is excellent and the Lodge has everything you need. The garden is large and our dog loved the large open space to run about in. Joanne keeps you well-informed prior to arriving, on arrival and departure, would definitely stay here again with more of the family

Lovely Cottage

We had a great week at the cottage. Owners were very friendly, helpful with great communication. Cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. Surrounding views were lovely with lots of wildlife on show. The cottage is only a short drive to both Stranraer and Portpatrick. If in the area again would definitely book and stay at the cottage.

Absolutely brilliant

The owners were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, the cottage was so peaceful, our dog loved it, it was just a short drive away from PortPatrick and Stranraer, lovely peaceful walks and a very comfortable cottage.

We have had a wonderful week away at this property. Joanna was a fantastic host and the accommodation was better than described! Beautifully clean and spacious, and the surrounding views were incredible. It’s about 15 minutes to Stranraer and a car is essential! Definitely recommended and we will definitely be returning.

Everything you could ever need

The property is exactly as advertised. So central to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The house has literally everything you need even down to abundant cooking implements, lots of towels and such lovely touches it feels like home from home. The beds are lovely and comfortable. The owner of the property is on hand if you need anything and is so helpful but does not crowd you. We didn't want to leave I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Home from home in beautiful countryside

Property was very clean, homely and well equipped. Really comfortable beds. Beautiful views with lots of farm animals and wildlife around. Regularly saw buzzards and deer. Also saw a fox one morning. Kids and dog loved the freedom around the gardens. Lots of nice places to visit nearby.

Peaceful, relaxing location

We much enjoyed this spacious and well equipped bungalow. It is superbly placed for exploring the Rhins of Galloway with its wonderful cliffs and very special gardens. Joanna was very friendly and helpful and the baby bunnies were a delight.

Lovely week away

We had a lovely week. The accommodation was excellent. Very well appointed and lots of space. A wide range of books and games for adults and children. Joanna was very helpful. As we have family down in the south west it is likely we will be back!

Week stay at Laggansally Lodge

We had a great week staying at Laggansally. The house was wonderfully welcoming, cosy and spotlessly clean. It was also beautifully presented and excellently equipped particularly in the kitchen since I enjoy cooking. The location was ideal, hitting a lot of buttons for quiet and rural, so it felt like a great escape from the city but also near to the shops and the beautiful coastline and scenery. We had a really super week and many thanks to the host, Dawn
