Propriété spacieuse calme dans le port de Newport / Saugatuck Douglas

Notre maison est situĂ©e dans le port de Newport, un endroit paisible et calme trĂšs proche de Douglas et Saugatuck centres-villes et des plages Douglas et Saugatuck. Avec de grands espaces ouverts Ă  l'avant et Ă  l'arriĂšre, il est agrĂ©able pour le dĂ©but de la hausse et de coucher de soleil. Le soleil se lĂšve derriĂšre la riviĂšre Kalamazoo et le pont regarde un Ă©tang oĂč le soleil se couche.
L'emplacement est également idéal pour le vélo et le canoë. Nous avons 4 kayaks simples, un canot de 3 places et un quai pour les lancer dans la riviÚre Kalamazoo menant à la région de Saugatuck Harbour et au lac Michigan. Les plages et Saugatuck est 3 miles si l'on veut faire de la bicyclette.
Avec quatre chambres spacieuses, chacune avec un dressing, un grand salon avec un plafond voĂ»tĂ©, il peut accueillir de grands groupes jusqu’à 10 personnes. La cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et de barbecue Ă  l'extĂ©rieur vous rendra feront de votre sĂ©jour.

Very spacious and comfortable

Went up to Michigan for a long weekend with idk college friends. We really enjoyed the place. With it being Memorial Day weekend however a lot of the outside areas looked as if they hadn't been checked on in a long time. For instance there was cobwebs in the doorway going from the kitchen to outside, the grill was was out of propane gas and a lot of the outdoor chairs had blown throughout the yard. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Nice quiet neighborhood, easy access to several towns in area. House can be a bit loud-sound really carries throughout. When walking upstairs the downstairs can hear it, especially in downstairs bedroom. Kitchen pretty well stocked with pans, plates etc except for baking sheet. Back patio very nice and lots of chairs! Overall, we had a great time and would recommend!

Great Location and Price

This location worked out great with our family. Easy to get to Douglas and Saugatuck for our walks. We enjoyed out time together over Easter.

Perfect accomodations

My family and I including our married children really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was clean and stocked with everything one would need, and the location and amenities were fantastic. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and look forward to returning there ourselves.

Annual Friend Trip to MI

We had a great trip. The house was perfect for our large group. The kids loved playing yard games outside, playing tag around the house, and climbing trees. The adults enjoyed the large sunny deck. We all enjoyed the kayaks, very easy to transport to the water. Loved the quiet neighborhood, a great get away from the hecktic downtown.

Summer weekend get away.

First time in the area and we really liked it. Sand hill cranes in the back yard were a hit. Only issiue was the TV Dish was not working during our stay. I am sure it is fixed now. We would stay there again.

Wonderful home for families

My wife, her family and I stayed here for a weekend and this was a wonderful home with many nice sized rooms. It was very clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. It was close enough to downtown Saugatuck and every other neighboring areas we visited (like Holland). Selim was very friendly and quick to respond to any messages I had. I will definitely stay here in the future.

Incredible host and house

Beautiful, convenient, quiet home

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was spacious and accommodated us (5 adults) well. It was very convenient to get to Douglas, Saugatuck, and other nearby areas. We loved the big windows and sitting outside, but the best part for me was the access to the kayaks and canoes. We kayaked multiple times during our stay and it was beautiful. If staying for a long duration, check the pre-arrival email and/or do an inventory of what’s available in the house in order to plan grocery shopping.

Great stay in Douglas

The pictures don’t quite do it justice. Great space. This is perfect for multi-generational stays because of the first floor bed and bath. Our kids loved the huge backyard and the tree swing. We saw lots of beautiful wildlife in the backyard and we were close to all that Douglas and Saugatuck have to offer. Wonderful stay!

Great place to stay in Douglas

My family had a great time at this beautiful home in Douglas. Great location- close to both downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. The backyard is expansive and very relaxing. Plenty of space inside for our group of 7. We appreciated that the owner was available by phone to answer a couple questions we had while there. Will definitely consider a return visit!
