Construit en 1898, cette maison historique est pleine de tout le charme et le caractère d'une maison plus ancienne. Il est certifié par la ville de Grand Haven en tant que propriété locative résidentielle. L'appartement en bas, comme indiqué ici, est disponible pour votre séjour de vacances dans cette communauté du lac Michigan. (Les photos après la plage sont des photos pour l'étage, qui peuvent être disponibles, s'il vous plaît se renseigner)
Situé dans le pâté de maisons 100 de Franklin, dans le quartier historique du centre-ville, il se trouve à seulement un pâté de maisons du canal / promenade et de Washington Street, où vous trouverez de nombreux magasins et restaurants raffinés. Fun get away close to everything!

Enjoyed our stay at this cute place. It is centrally located within walking distance to everywhere I needed to go. Loved that there were bikes available to ride around on. Very clean, comfortable, and the host is very responsive! Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

And, I love returning guests! I often get remarks on the location; one block from Washington, and one block from the Channel. Park your car and walk everywhere, from restaurants, to shops, and events taking place downtown. Then , back "Home" to HYH where you can sit on the front porch/deck and watch the world go by!

Quiet, simple, and convenient

This property was perfect for a short getaway! It is very conveniently located to many restaurants and shops as well as the water. We enjoyed walking to just about everything we needed! Though not the most extravagant, this rental was very clean and made for a relaxing worry-free stay.

I was so delighted that you chose HYH in GH for your first visit to Grand Haven! Your review of my little "cottage" certainly made my day, as do many who notice the "details" within: everything you need when you walk through the door, from House Book full of local information, notes posted in key places to help you find things and know things. Our "last pass" policy of making sure everything is in place and ready for your stay is key! The "walk everywhere" location is pretty good, too ;)

Loved “Hang Your Hat”! Perfect location, right downtown and close to everything! Super cute and super clean inside and out. Beds are comfy and kitchen was nicely stocked.Drive, walk, or ride your bikes to the beach which about 1 mile away. We recommend bringing your bikes, so fun to check out the town! Eric was great to work with and we will definitely book again! Loved it! Thanks again, we enjoyed our stay!!

Amazing location

My wife, daughter and I had an amazing stay. The location of this property was by far the best part! Literally right across the street from the downtown Grand Haven strip. 5 minute walk to the water and less than a 20 minute walk to the lighthouse. The only issue to be aware of is the floors are creaky so if someone is staying in the top unit, it can be loud if they are walking around a lot (to be expected with an older place). We would stay here again.

Every detail was perfect!

The property owner has done a magnificent job making this rental feel like home! We were only there a couple of days, but never had to waste any time figuring out where things were or how things worked. Everything was made accessible and easy for us! The rental was spotless, beds were so comfortable. We loved being so close to the great restaurants and shops downtown, and only a short drive to the beach. We look forward to staying again!

HAPPY 50 th BIRTHDAY

Beautiful property located blocks away from stores, restaurants and the water. It was so nice to be able to walk in the door and forget everything else. The top floor has a great view of downtown to watch all the happenings and I could walk to any place within a few minutes. The house itself has all the comforts of home and is well maintained.

Home away from home

On our first trip to Grand Haven, the entire tone of the vacation was set as soon as we stepped into Hang Your Hat. Nancy did a wonderful job making sure the house was spotless, and that we had everything we needed. The house was within walking distance from everything, including downtown shopping and restaurants, and the balcony on Top Hat made for great people watching. We can't say enough good things about Hang Your Hat and Nancy.

I am so glad that you decided to stay at Hang Your Hat in Grand Haven, especially for your first trip to our "Voted America's Happiest Seaside Town 2017" by Costal Living magazine. The city of Grand Haven does a wonderful job of welcoming guests, like you, to our beautiful city and sugar sand beaches: Grand Haven State Park, and Grand Haven City Beach. The bonus is that HYH in GH is just a short ride by car (1 mile) or a leisurely stroll down the boardwalk with lots of shops, benches and beautiful scenery along the way. Did you get ice cream at Captain Sunday, or snacks at the Pier Peddler? I especially like to just sit on the grassy shaded knoll a block from the cottage, and watch the people and boats go by. I often take a book and a beach chair from under the porch to enjoy this special place.

Great location & perfect for family of 4

Walking distance to downtown & beach. Short drive to other beautiful beach towns. House was in great condition with everything we needed. Quick response from owner when we requested use of beach umbrella, bikes, etc. Quiet location, would sometimes hear upstairs neighbors walking around but that’s to be expected. Queen bed was a bit firm for my liking but that’s a personal preference. Would recommend -great value nice, clean rental with all the amenities & great location.

Wonderful stay at Hang Your Hat

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Grand Haven and our stay at Hang Your Hat. Nancy is a gracious host and has provided everything one could need or want. The apartment was spotless and so comfortable. The balcony right off the living room was a lovely place to sit and watch the town go by. Nancy responded quickly to our questions and even came to our rescue when we accidentally locked ourselves out. The location couldn’t be better. Right in town and just a short walk to the water. We highly recommend Hang Your Hat!!

Couldn't have asked for more!

From first email contact to the moment we left Hang Your Hat, Nancy was impeccable. There was nothing more we could have asked for during our stay. The location is perfect, the amenities provided, price, just everything really. So much thought and consideration has gone into everything provided. I can't speak highly enough of Nancy and Hang Your Hat. The only regret I have is not being able to stay forever :) Thanks Nancy!

My only regret is that I did not get to personally be able to meet you during your stay! I do love hosting guests, like you, who find HYH in GH a place to relax and recharge at for the days ahead. A Girl's Weekend is the perfect time to do this as you have found out. All the "extras" you mentioned are "standard" and my way of saying, "You're Home!" Annual trip to Grand Haven

This is the fourth year my Son’s and I have traveled to Grand Haven for a late Summer trip. We really enjoyed the “Hang your Hat” location. The couches in the living room were very comfortable for movie nights. The kitchen was spacious and perfect for making breakfast each morning. The actual location was the best. One block away from the Main Street which made it very easy to walk into town for dinner. The floors could have used an extra sweeping before our arrival and as with most older homes the walls do not block noise that well. Overall it was a great stay! Thank you

Just Like Home

This was our first stay at Hang Your Hat, We will plan on staying here each time we visit Grand Haven. Nancy welcomed us like she has known us and keeps this property very well maintained. Everything you need is all in the house. I even found candles for my daughters Birthday Cake. The place is so relaxing. We didn't want to leave. You can walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and even sit outside and hear the musical fountain if you choose not to walk a few blocks and watch the show. You will Love staying here!! Thank You Nancy for the wonderful welcome. Your Love for what you do really shows in the house. So very cozy. See you next year. The Bellingers

I do love hosting guests at my little cottage in downtown Grand Haven! Especially when they are guests like you!! It is always my pleasure to share my excitement about all our little city has to offer, and being so convenient to most of it is a double bonus. Thanks for sharing about how you can hear the Musical Fountain (since 1960) from the cottage, whether upstairs or down, or a 2 minute walk to the waterfront for viewing. I hope when you come next time the catwalk will be open! There's always something going on in Grand Haven year round, and HYH in GH is available , too.

I wish I could award Hang your Hat 10 stars!!

I looked for a place that could go for a month to work and enjoy life at the same time. I found Hang Your Hat, and I was truly blessed! This is a cute, clean, comfortable spot in downtown Grand Haven, a short walk to any place you would dream of going - cute little shops, fantastic restaurants, great night spots, and most of all - LAKE MICHIGAN! What a beautiful walk from your porch to the Grand River channel and the boardwalk to the end of the pier in Lake Michigan. I put my feet into the fantastic white sand of Grand Haven Beach, and although April was a bit cold to swim, it was just as I had remembered. The owner is very helpful but respects your time and space while you are there. The plants and look of the place makes it stand out on the street full of nice quaint homes. This place is outstanding!
