Aldea Thai 1 Bdrm en bord de mer avec piscine privée sur Mamitas

Ce magnifique condo 1 chambre est directement sur la plage avec piscine privée sur la terrasse. Il est joliment meublé avec un 42 'TV, WIFI, cuisine complÚte avec comptoirs en granit, lit king size 4 affiche et situé au niveau de la plage. Le condo est fourni avec des serviettes et des peignoirs blancs moelleux ainsi qu'une bouteille de champagne et un bol de fruits et de bouteilles d'eau froide pour votre arrivée.
Le service de ménage est fourni. Le condo a une piscine magnifique et dispose d'ascenseurs ainsi que d'un parking souterrain. Le condo est juste sur la plage Mamitas, récemment rénové avec sa propre piscine privée et un salon extérieur couvert et une belle terrasse ainsi que des meubles de terrasse à l'extérieur. Y compris les tables et les chaises et l'éclairage.

Great place to Chill

Studio condo in Playa del Carmen

The studio apt was very nice and very clean. Sheryl is awesome, always pleasant and helpful. The pool, lounge chairs and swim up bar are awesome. The condo is located steps from the ocean. There's tons of shopping and restaurants and we always felt safe anywhere.

Nice condo very well located

Perfect size condo for a couple, kitchen furnish properly for breakfast and light meals. Private pool is nice but presently leaking so we had to have it filled up every day so water was always cold. Not a very luminous appartment, but did not matter we were mostly outside.Very nice complex, short walk to the nicest beach of Playa del Carmen, lots of restaurants nearby. Great vacation.

Great Location

Awesome stay

Nothing to complain about!

This property was perfect for a week long vacation to Playa! Communication with Sheryl was great and the apartment had everything we needed from beach chairs, stocked kitchen with appliances and pans for cooking, and a large fresh water dispenser. She also had the unit cleaned every other day which based on feedback from other condo renters is not always the case. You can tell Sheryl cares about her guests! The location is VERY convenient to everything you need in Playa. There are two beach clubs located at the base of the property and a 2 minute walk to the main street. While there is lots of night life nearby you don't hear ANYTHING in the unit. Quiet to sleep at night! I would recommend this apartment to anyone and will definitely book when we return to Playa Del Carmen!

Playa Del Carmen stay

Overall, we had a great trip. The rental was decent, however, there were a few deficiencies that I think could be improved upon. For example, the tile when you first walk in to the apartment is lifted and in the middle of the night if you’re not too alert you would likely stub your toe on it. The key card worked 80% of the time
 The manager was great about helping us out with this, however, it continued to be an on and off minor issue. Compared to other Vrbo’s. I’ve stayed in it did not have a lot of extras like the basics of salt, pepper, extra Rubbermaid For Tupperware for storing food. On the other hand, they were some great things like two beach chairs, and the responsiveness of the manager was great.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in the unit. It was not disclosed that this unit although technically above ground feels like it is below ground - very dark and damp feeling. The picture portrays a garden outside the sliding door. I cannot quite describe what this is. It is essentially an alley between buildings with plants. I was reluctant to have the slider open, as unknown what animals were in the area. The complex is lovely, but this unit is not where I choose to stay.

Decent stay but


The condo is nice, but a few things
 The mattress is hard There is no ironing board We were provided with only 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. When more requested, we received 2 more hand towels and no wash cloths. We had to purchase wash cloths to bathe. The pool was dirty, the jets don’t work and the water is cold. We never used it. The Check-in was horrible. I had to ask for instructions. The instructions were obviously not clear because upon arrival we waited an hour so the front desk staff could reach the owner even though our names were left at desk. The good stuff
 The location is convenient. Beach is near, food is near, shopping is near. Everything within walking distance. The room was clean. The layout is nice and as shown in pics. AC works well. Walk-in shower is nice. Hot water only last about 10 minutes though.

Christmas vacation

The location is extraordinary, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and Fifth Avenue.In the unit, the bed was unfortunately not comfortable to our liking, and some elements were, in our opinion, not clean (curtains with mold stains). There was also an unpleasant smell in the unit, likely coming from the sewers, but we couldn’t pinpoint the source. It may have been an isolated event related to the municipality.The host was very responsive and answered all our messages within a reasonable time frame. It was more challenging to get a punctual cleaning service, but we understood that it was the holiday season for everyone.The information in the listing is not entirely accurate. There is no space for a third person in this room as there is only one bed and no living room area. There is no beach view, as this unit is on the ground floor facing the back, and the terrace does not get sunlight because there are many trees blocking the rays. The small outdoor pool was very cold throughout our stay, so we did not swim much. The jacuzzi jets were not functional.You can see chairs on the beach in the pictures, but it cost 100 pesos per person per day to have a chair or a bed on the beachIf you plan to cook meals in the room, there is no kitchen fan or oven, better suited for people who prefer to eat out and prepare a light mealAll in all, the place was fine, but this complex, which was probably stunning 15 years ago, would benefit from improvements, especially to the pool.

Excellent beach escape

My wife and I have stayed in several condos and all inclusive resorts throughout Cancun and Playa del Carmen. This was my favorite location by far. The condo is right on the beach and very close to Calle 5 with all of the food and entertainment anyone could want. Though the condo is well located it is still feels quite and secluded with a wonderful private pool. Absolutely loved it and hope to return in the future.

Exactly as described

This unit has everything you need and is in a great location in Playa del Carmen. The bed is super comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics. The pool on the patio is sooooo nice. The check in process was smooth. The property is pretty cool. There are common areas to sit and enjoy the breeze. Sheryl was a great communicator and made everything easy. Very good value for the price. Enjoy!

Escape the cold up north.

My husband and I spent 12 days in this unit we have no complaints regarding the unit, the host for the unit, or the resort itself. The entire facility including our room is super clean and great to access either direction on 5th Ave., Walmart was an easy walk 7/10 of a mile and we bought our groceries to use in the kitchen that is provided in our unit. Selection at Walmart was perfect for our knees for the 12 days. We will definitely consider coming back in the winter months in the future

Aldea Thai- Room #105

Aldea Thai was a great location near the beach as well as 5th Avenue. A lot of fun bars, clubs, restaurants, & shops just walking distance away. The condo itself was well-kept and clean. Didn't use the kitchen much but had full appliances to cook if you wanted to. Only issues I ran into was the air conditioning wouldn't work sometimes and the pool on the patio was dirty the entire trip.
