Construite en 1939, cette maison historique a beaucoup de charme ancien dans l'un des plus anciens quartiers de Jackson. Nous avons envisagé de l'appeler Demeure de grand-mère. Il s'agissait d'une forclusion et était vacant pendant 2 ans avant de l'acquérir. Nous avons effectué une réhabilitation complète en pensant à vous. Cette maison a été spécialement conçue pour être une location de vacances.

TRÈS IMPORTANT: Si vous ne restez pas uniquement pour un plaisir tranquille, TOUT type d'événement, d'activité ou de festival doit être entièrement divulgué et approuvé avant de réserver avec des frais supplémentaires.

De nombreux horizons différents sont restés à la maison. Les gens sont venus pour des réceptions de mariage, des cocktails, des équipes de baseball, des événements politiques et tout simplement du plaisir. Le Mississippi Museum of Art a également réservé la maison. Ils ont eu un séjour d'artiste célèbre, Jeffrey Gibson. Ils ont filmé un documentaire de son art sur la propriété.

La propriété a une unité d'hôtes. L'unité partage un petit mur avec l'une des chambres de cette liste. Si vous n'avez pas réservé l'unité d'hôtes en conjonction avec cette annonce, vous pouvez entendre de légers bruits des voisins, mais rien qui ne devrait affecter votre séjour ou votre sommeil.

The house was clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room for us and family that were able to come down for the funeral. The whole process was smooth and effortless. After having to make so many decisions for my father's service it was a relief to have such a cozy place to stay.

We stayed here with a large group of family and friends, and while the house provided beautifully for meaningful connection through shared everyday moments (meals at the large table, afternoon coffee chats in the living room, etc.), a few limitations posed challenges for us that ultimately dampened the overall impression. We ran short on towels (of all kinds), and the bathroom and kitchen soap dispensers ran empty during our stay. The management was easy to communicate with and quick to reply, but while they were apologetic they were also unable to provide any actual assistance. We ended up having to launder towels to share them, and purchase our own hand soap for the bathroom. Additionally, the property advertises futons in the living room for additional sleeping options, yet there were only 2 armchairs and a standard sofa (as far as we could figure out). Overall, it’s a neat historical home with plenty of charm and lots of space; it was just a little ill-equipped for our group.

First of all, thank you for choosing to stay at our property. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. Regarding the towels, I checked with our housekeeper, who confirmed that a total of 18 towels were provided. We also have a washer and dryer available for your convenience should you need to do laundry during your stay. As for the soap dispenser, our housekeeper may have overlooked refilling it to the maximum level; however, the dispenser was not left empty. We apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused. Regarding your request for assistance, your stay coincided with Labor Day weekend, when many people were traveling and taking advantage of the long weekend. This made it more challenging to arrange immediate assistance. For this reason, I offered to reimburse you for the cost of purchasing the item yourself if needed. We appreciate your feedback and regret any inconvenience you may have experienced. Thank you for your understanding.

I can't even put into words how disappointed my family and I were after driving 12hrs to a home that was dirty, worn down, and the God awful smell there. It smells like something is rotten when you first walk in and the smell upstairs is worse. There are holes in the wall and dirt on top of the mantel, floors, and walls. The front door knob screws are missing. The pictures are deceiving. The home might have looked like that originally but not in it's current state. Imagine those pictures but no one in the home for yrs. That's how dirty it was.

It is unfortunate that you felt disappointed of our property. FIRST, you didn't stay and SECOND, we sent us a full refund. I understand that our housekeeper may have failed to meet the best standard in cleaning, a thing we already discussed with her but trashing our property with all nasty words is so unfair to us considering that we didn't get a single penny from your canceled reservation. Luckily, a group of individuals who booked through Airbnb and stayed May 18-20 doing some documentary and filming inside and outside the house gave us a 5 star rating. How I wish I could also share a screenshot to show everyone that your accusation is not all true but I acknowledged that we have fell short in some aspects and a thing that has been corrected.

Wonderful space!

The house was perfect for our large group. It had open spaces to congregate, and private quarters to retreat and relax. Central location made getting around town super easy. Felt like home!

Nostalgia

We stayed at Magnolia Manor while attending a funeral in Jackson. Soooooo beautiful --- it brought back so many memories growing up in similar homes. My sister can't wait to visit so we can cook and fill the house with wonderful smells and aromas and sit around and reminisce of days gone by. A wonderful place for family and memoroes.

We enjoyed our stay. The home had plenty of room but it needed a downstairs bathroom. The showers were not working properly and the hot water didn't seem to last long. The location was good and the host was very good with communication.

Family Weekend

We flew in for a family weekend and the house did not disappoint. The layout of the house was great for our group. From the linens to the kitchen, everything was well stocked and then some. The communication with Ashley was great. We had a wonderful stay.

Lil oasis of Seclusion

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia Manor!! There was plenty of room for us to congregate as well as have our own areas. It is convenient to highways and restaurants. I would recommend if you are heading to the Jackson area!!
