Trip was perfect from Communication before arrival to when we left. Location the experience was fantastic definitely we will be back and would recommend.

Great Resort! We loved it.

We booked a room at the Marriott Barony Beach Club on Hilton Head Island through VRBO. The property was great and we loved it. The pools and beach were not overly crowded and busy. We had a great ocean view from the Master Bedroom. The room had a nice kitchen and great beach access. The room also had a laundry in the room so that was nice (don't have to pack as much). There are multiple awesome pools at the resort. One was adjacent to the beach access and had live music on several days. The other was a short resort provided golf cart tram ride away and is the one with the water slide into the pool. There was also an indoor pool that we didn't use as it didn't rain any the week we were there but it looked nice as well. The pools were all sanitized with saltwater instead of chlorine which is nice. The VRBO rental process was super simple and effortless so don't be afraid of that. Now for the negatives (which really were more uncertainties than negatives as none of them were really a problem for us but would have liked to know prior to staying there): There are several buildings at the resort. Only 2 of them are beach front and only a handful of rooms have a beachfront view. Think VRBO or the agency doing the renting should add a map of the property and clearly show what building and the location of the room that you are renting. Maybe also show a picture of the view from the room that is being booked prior to booking. Like I mentioned, we had a fantastic ocean view but it was not entirely clear that we were going to have one. Also, there was not daily room service (for making beds and re-stocking and washing towels etc.). I personally like that as I would rather not have to put up my wallet, etc. in the room safe every time we leave but also something that I would have like to know prior to just figuring it out. Overall, we loved the resort and our room and we are planning to go back next year!

Excellent for Families

We were not sure what to expect as they do not provide you with your exact condo information until arrival. However, the condo exceeded expectations and was great for families. The property also did not disappoint and the kids (and us) had plenty to do. Would definitely come back!
