Host was very friendly! Great parking! Great location!Didn't use the kitchen. You will want to wear shoes around the house. Windows and window sills need to be cleaned. Counters had toast crumbs on them. But I have a little OCD!

The house was large and communication with the host was easy. The house was well stocked with what we needed to cook, do laundry and towels for showers. The location was awesome if you are going to Crater of Diamonds! I also thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch rocking and enjoying the scenery. My negatives about the place and which would likely keep me from coming back is the house smelled very moldy and musty. Mainly the spare bedroom and the bathroom. We brought our dog with us and luckily had the wherewithal to check the house before releasing him. We did find rat bait in the mud room/laundry area so please be mindful of this if you are bringing pets because that could be deadly to them.

We are so glad you enjoyed the location and the front porch! Thank you for letting us know about the musty smell in the extra bedroom. This is an older home and we have to treat it for moisture build up from time to time. We believe our cleaning help or another renter may have left the mouse bait and we are so sorry. We never put this out in our rental or our own home because of the danger to pets. We'll take extra care to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Although the home is fairly old we were extremely comfortable. We stayed a total of 3 nights and, oh, my! , the king size bed was so comfortable! We slept like babies!! Also, the hot water in the bathroom/shower was amazing..hot, hot hot!! The kitchen was well equipped with enough for us to cook breakfast and dinner two days/nights. We ate one breakfast and one dinner in the quaint town of Murfreesboro upon arrival then we shopped at the local grocery store to prepare meals at the VRBO. The home is just a few miles down the road from the Crater of Diamonds State Park which is the reason for our visit. The host was very easy to deal with, answered our calls promptly and even had some tools and utensils we were welcome to use for our day at the mines which we appreciated. The home is located in a safe area, was very quiet and we enjoyed morning coffee on the covered front porch. The home has a covered carport which was nice protection for our car but the weather was sunny and beautiful so that was just a plus. We highly recommend staying at The Kimberlite in Murfreeboro.

The house was in the perfect location. Close to downtown Murfreesboro and Crater of Diamonds State Park. The house was larger than we expected and perfect for our family of 5. Tim (owner) was at the property when we arrived and he gave a lot of information of the area.

The location is great if you are digging for diamonds. The house is older but quite livable. The A/C will have you looking for a jacket. Everything you need is provided. The property is pet friendly. The host communicates very well and if there ever was an issue, there would not be a problem of contacting him. All in all, a great value for the price.

It was a great place to stay and reasonably priced. It worked well with our dog. The only thing I would say is that it was a little older of a property and you could tell, but otherwise it kitchen was fully stocked with cooking items and it was good.

Convenient to locations in Murfreesboro. Plenty of room for everyone. We did not use anything but the bedrooms and bathroom. They were having issues with a/c but had fixed that by the time we arrived. I think that because of the a/c issues the house had a strong musty/moldy smell.

Stayed at the property for the weekend to go diamond digging. Simple property that met all our needs. Close to both the little town and the park, and even had tools for diamond digging itself. Host accommodated an earlier check in, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, the stay was great.

This place was great. We slept well, enjoyed use of a big kitchen, saved on renting mining equipment, and were a close and convenient distance to the diamond mines.
