1 chambre Queen avec salle de bain.
2 autres chambres à coucher; 1 avec des lits superposés et un lit simple, l'autre avec des lits superposés. Salle de douche commune avec douche neuve, lave-linge et sèche-linge. Toilette séparée
Salon ouvert, cuisine et salle à manger; 2 canapés, graveur de bois.
Pompes à chaleur dans la chambre de la Reine et à aire ouverte.
La porte coulissante mène à une nouvelle terrasse couverte avec des marches menant à un jardin de bonne taille. UN BARBECUE.

La plage est proche - moins de 10 minutes à pied ou 2 minutes en voiture.
C'est une plage de sable "sûre" car sa pente est très douce. Beaucoup de promenades.
Port Chalmers avec ses restaurants et ses boutiques se trouve à 15 minutes en voiture, tandis que la ville de Dunedin est à 30 minutes.

Kitchen fully equipt, plenty of towels, torches for exploring the caves were handy, really warm and super tidy, vacumes provided to keep up with cleanliness during stay was a great bonus

Lovely space, great to have the option of heat pumps and wood burner. Beds very comfy and well-configured, plus good appliances in the kitchen and laundry. A few odd things missing, like the glass for the cafetiere, the machine for the hand whisk, or any drinking glasses at all (just wine glasses or plastic tumblers), but we had a lovely time here, even with a power cut on the first night!

Excellent family bach

Great instructions to get there. Excellent beach just round the corner. We swam and bodyboarded every day, rain or not, it was so warm. House perfect for our needs-enclosed deck, great back lawn. Everything pristine anf new. Had a lovely time

Relaxing holiday getaway

The property was even nicer than the pictures showed. It's extremely well equipped and comfortable. It was lovely to wake up to birdsong and the sound of waves. Great communication with the owner too made everything a breeze.

We had the most wonderful 3-day stay at this Long Beach beach house. Honestly, the photos didn’t even come close to capturing how beautiful and welcoming the place truly is. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the layout was absolutely perfect for our group of six climbers - plenty of space to relax together, as well as spots to unwind quietly when we needed it.Being just a 10-minute walk from the crag made our days so easy, and coming back “home” each evening felt like a treat. It was the ideal place to relax, recharge, and enjoy good food, laughter, and friendships after long days on the wall.I couldn’t recommend this beach home more highly. We’ll all be back, and we’ve already started telling our friends about it. Thank you, Ernie, for providing everything we needed and more - your place truly made our trip special.

A very nice place to stay

We had a great stay, the weather was good and the access to the beach was a short safe walk. The children loved it.The only thing we were disappointed with was we didn't know the coffee machine required pods and we were a fair distance from a shop. Maybe it could be mentioned in the description and the lack of egg cups too.

Just what we needed

For the adults and small children in our group there was plenty to occupy us on our stay. There is a big garden with children's outdoor toys, well-equipped kitchen, and space for privacy with 3 bedrooms. We saw sea-lions and little blue penguins on the nearby beach, just a short walk away. The host was quick to respond to my queries, for which I am very grateful.

Family rock climbing and beach trip

The property is conveniently located near the beach for both beach and water activities as well as for rock climbing. The Roost had an excellent set up for our family;everyone had adequate bedroom space and the common area was comfortable and spacious with a large dining table and an adequate kitchen. We were able to borrow some items from the shed for use at the beach. The back yard was large and flat… perfect for children. Unfortunately, we did not use the deck, but it looks like a very place to enjoy an evening meal or a beverage before or after dinner. Our host, Ernie, was responsive to questions in a timely manner. We definitely benefited from the on-site washer and dryer. We appreciated having laundry detergent, dishwashing liquids and tablets, space heaters, extra blankets, hair dryers, etc, all available for our use. We would highly recommend the roost, and would love to return for a future visit.
