Profitez de la paix de la communautĂ© tranquille. Prenez le cafĂ© du matin sur les porches couverts et profitez des journĂ©es sur les plages de sable blanc isolĂ©es en sirotant un cocktail tropical. À quelques minutes Ă  pied de la plage de l'Aqua Villa et rendez-vous en voiture au complexe pour le tennis, la piscine, les massages et plus encore.

La cuisine est entiÚrement approvisionnée pour le chef mature ou pas si fonctionnel pour préparer ces repas copieux. Le service est fourni pour un maximum de 8 personnes. Grille-pain, micro-ondes, cafetiÚres, cuisiniÚre à gaz et réfrigérateur pleine grandeur est disponible.

Les épiceries et autres magasins insulaires (petits centres commerciaux avec tout ou petits magasins insulaires bien équipés) sont à 10 à 40 minutes en voiture.

Une zone hÎteliÚre avec restaurant et activités est à 5-10 minutes à pied et des restaurants et des magasins supplémentaires dans la région sont à 10-30 minutes en voiture.

Perfect location

Beautiful villa and setting overlooking the wild Atlantic . Deep blue water, soft sand and a beach bar open between 12 noon and 6pm.Food and. Liquor store a very short drive away.

Outstanding!

Fantastic place to unwind and commute with nature and unspoiled surroundings. Villa Aqua was a perfect home with comfortable beds and all amenities including a washer and dryer. But nothing can come close to describing the views from the deck. The ocean right outside your door and unspoiled empty beaches all around! Paulette was our manager and she was nothing short of awesome . She provided excellent communication and ensured we were well prepared and set up for our stay .Long Island is the perfect getaway if you love quiet surroundings. If you are looking for night clubs, cruise ships etc (and we definitely were not), then this is not the destination for you. What you will find is a warm , friendly and gracious local population / culture in an unspoiled piece of tropical paradise .Nothing short of five stars and highly recommended!

Fabulous home with a beautiful Atlantic view

We enjoyed our time at Aqua Villa very much. Quiet, clean and wonderful beds for a great rest. The ocean is right off the front deck, just a few steps to the beach. Working with Paulette was flawless and she is very responsive. It was just the two of us but we'd definitely bring friends or family with us for another stay at Aqua Villa. Lovely Stay

Beautiful house. Very relaxing. The house is absolutely perfect. Sat on the patio every morning enjoying coffee and breakfast. We had no problem with the no seeums bugs. Thanks Paulette, everything was perfect!

Fabulous!

Such a special location and a property that offers so much. Breathtaking views of the ocean from the villa and spacious patio. All the amenities one would ever need are provided together with an incredibly comfortable bed! We loved our stay and really didn't want to leave! We will definitely return.

Spectacular ocean view

We loved this house. Long Island was perfect for us but probably not for everyone. If you like deserted beaches, wind, waves and sun...and can do without the many amenities that people come to expect in resort areas, you'll do fine here.

Good stay

Nice stay. Spacious home. Dated but it still served its purpose nicely. Having access to laundry was amazing. The home was very convenient to Stella Airport. The property manager was easy to reach for any questions. Only real negative was the orange slime on the grout in the shower. Other than that I’d highly recommend this rental if you’re interested in seeing north Long and Cape Santa Maria.

House is great... but Long Island was NOT for us.

I'd be fine with the third-world infrastructure if I weren't paying first-world prices. The house itself was excellent. Support staff was responsive. We just didn't do enough research on Long Island or the Bahamas in general. Mostly I wish it were easier to get around (to the island, to other islands... even just around the island itself). That and better food options. If you're from Florida, I can imagine the Bahamas being a reasonable vacation option for you... but if you're from California like me, just go to Hawaii.

House was beautiful but pounding surf and days of heavy rain ruined the trip.

Property is very nice but the incessant pounding surf became a problem for sleeping and relaxing.

Wonderful location and house

The view from this house is outstanding. In fact, you will find it hard to leave to explore this great island! The Moonshine beach restaurant is a very short walk and the main Stella Maris restaurant a short walk too. The kitchen is well appointed and the house nicely furnished. Caretakers very helpful. Bed in MB very comfortable and shower large. We will definitely return! If the air is still, which was not often, Bug spray is recommended. I think there was just one morning where this was the case. For the most part, the wind was blowing. Sound of the waves wonderful!

12 days in paradise

My husband and I stayed at this property for 12 days. It truly was a touch of heaven. The property is in the perfect location. The views are memorizing and breathtaking. The home is lovely. It was very clean and so well stocked with everything you would need. This property also has so many beautiful memorabilia from the owner. Beautiful home made art as well as treasures from the sea. The excerpts from her book were enlightening and so interesting. After taking the 20 steps to the beach the beautiful views from the home are right under your feet. The scenery changes moment by moment as the ocean and the sun work together to amaze you. The sunrises are incredible. All neighbours were so helpful,welcoming and kind. This home is truly a magical place. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to experience this beautiful home. Hopefully we will be back next year.
