The house was fantastic and had everything we needed. Jen had instructions that made our trip very easy. The location of the house is great and the family had a great time. Rooms are big and comfortable.

Beautiful Getaway

Wolfe's Den is an exceptional home. It is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The Bunkhouse was a big hit with our 6 grandchildren. The game room was a great place for the family to gather and play games. The kitchen was amazing. It had everything we needed to make meals together. The bedrooms were very comfortable.The wrap around decks on both levels gave us even more room. The entire home was amazing.

Yearly Family Gathering

This was our second year in a row staying at The Wolfe’s Den. We have stayed at multiple cabins over the years and this is definitely one of the best for multi-generational groups. The kids love getting to stay with their cousins in the bunk room, and they have so much space to hang out downstairs, so adults can enjoy the living area on the main floor with a little less chaos. There is plenty of seating for us all to eat at once for meals (13 in our group), and there is more than enough room for people to retreat to a quiet corner when needed. Location is very convenient for anything in Big Bear. Grocery stores are very close, which is so helpful. Less need to lug tons of food up the mountain. And the hot tub is a fantastic bonus for after snow play. It’s nice and large and has great jets. Jenny is a great host and always quick to respond if you have any questions.

The perfect family cabin

This cabin is such a vibe. Very clean and so comfortable. My family and I love staying here. Close by everything and such a beautiful cabin. Jenny is also very communicative and friendly. We plan to continue our annual family getaway here!

Birthday weekend

My friends and I decided to spend the weekend at Jenny’s cabin for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Large space, many bedrooms and beds, lots of winter amenities. Everything was clean and stocked. We had an incredible time and can not recommend this place enough.

Amazing Cabin!

The Wolfe's Den was perfection! We stayed for a week and everyone's only complaint was that we wish we could stay longer. We had plenty of space for everyone and the provided amenities were great. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We stayed over the 4th of July and we were able to walk 1/2 a mile to the park to see the fireworks. The cabin is close to the lake and Snow Summit. Amazing location! We would definitely recommend staying here for any visit to Big Bear.

Grandfathers bucket list

It's been my wish to surprise my family sons, daughters and their children with a group vacation. After searching for days I believed I found the perfect home for 7 adults and 6 children. The Wolf's Den is a beautiful home with all the comforts a large group needs to enjoy a mountain retreat vacation. We will plan to stay in the future.

Family fun trip

The Cabin was great. We had a great time. The Cabin was located close to town and to the slopes. Kids had a blast. First snow/ski trip for them. They enjoyed the cabin/bunk beds. We would love to do this again in the future. It was a perfect fit for all 11 of us. Mahalo again. It was memorable for all.

Ideal Family Cabin

This is our 6th year renting a cabin for our family gathering, and is our new favorite. It is perfect for families with kids, as there is more than enough space for everyone. The kids loved the bunk room and the game room downstairs. Adults loved that they could be (peacefully) upstairs. Plenty of seating for meals between the extended table and all the barstools at the counter. The location was fantastic: easy to find, plenty of parking, no steep driveway. Conveniently close to a Vons and Stater Bros. and not far from the Village either. We hope to stay here next year!

Amazing Home

This is a perfect home for a large group with kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. Every room has been thoughtfully decorated making it feel like a home! The owner is super responsive to any questions or issues. The location can’t be beat.

Love this cabin!

This is our second time staying at wolfes den and we love the cabin and the location for our yearly family and friends gatherings! Everything has been great and Jen has been a very responsive host. Highly recommend.

Weekend Getaway

We were 4 families with 5 kids under 5. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, as well as a very well stocked kitchen to cook for our large group. It was walking distance to a lovely park and quick drive to the village.

We are true Californians. My parents migrated here from Pennsylvania and Oklahoma in the 1940's and never left, except for travel. We have owned property in the San Bernardino Mountains since the early 1960's. We would head for the hills at least once a month, if not more, growing up. We love it here. We have passed on this traditions to our son's and their children.

In 2006 we were looking for the next perfect cabin for our growing family and we found it on Mockingbird Dr. It is big enough for everyone yet cozy enough to sit relax and read a book. It is close enough to walk to the slopes, stores and shores. Yet, far removed form the hub-bub of Los Angeles.
