Beautiful and charming home! Our family enjoyed our stay at this historic house-exploring all of the different rooms, antiques and grounds. Plenty of room for us to spread out and spend time together. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed here with 5 other retired women friends. We loved this unique old farmhouse and the property. It was fun to think about all of the other people who had stayed and lived in this house in the past 125 years. We loved sitting on the deck to watch the sun come up in the morning and the moon at night. The views are beautiful. It's a few miles out of Spring Green but that didn't bother us. Check out Woods Bar and Grille in Lone Rock . It's a fun bar nearby.

We (four couples) loved staying at Cold Spring Farm. It is a beautiful farm house, plenty of room, in terms of bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch and had great morning walks. We were close to Spring Green, Taliesin, and the American Players Theater! It was a wonderful escape!

Visiting family and friends in the area and stayed in this interesting historical home. I always loved the book HOUSE OF SEVEN GABLES but this might be called the house of 100 doors....a bit of history in the lovely driftless area...great care to the furnishings and personal comfort and many fun entertainments.

Great vintage farmhouse... much of the place had older furniture, items that gave you a feel that you stepped back in time. Reminded me of grandparents farm house. There are older picture and photo albums that give a feel your in a museum. We will visit again... but bring more people to fill up the house.

Historic Home

This was a beautiful historical home in a gorgeous setting of lush green rolling hills. It was very clean and well furnished with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for Family Get-a-way

My adult siblings, our partners, and I spent a weekend at this location. The home was large enough for our group of 11. The building itself was a maze full of surprises. We especially appreciated the Saloon and the fire pit.

This location was wonderful for our mini family reunion. It was fun exploring all the rooms in the house. The outdoor saloon and fire pit were great places to hang out in the evenings.

We had the best time! We came for a little weekend getaway with the whole family and agreed that we'd all love to be back for a longer time. The House was everything we were looking for and absolutely lovely. It was the perfect fit all around.

House was clean & all the different rooms and bedrooms were awesome, like staying in a old farmhouse museum, but with modern amenities. Bar shed was a great addition. Had a Great Fun Cool Time!

Property was great and was all that was advertised. Hosts were very accomodating when we had issues with the EV charger, they went to work right away and got the issues resolved.

Great place for a much needed reset!

Four gals taking a weekend getaway found some peace and lots of laughter at this historic home. We loved exploring the home and all of the relics within it. The shed, the firepit and walking trail were lovely additions. We even saw a fox that lives nearby! Would definitely stay again.
