Les chevreuils passent régulièrement à travers la propriété et conduisent. À seulement 10 minutes de la plage de Cane Bay et de certains des meilleurs sites de plongée au monde au large de "The Wall". À seulement 15 minutes du centre-ville de Christiansted et à 20 minutes du centre-ville de Fredericksted, cet établissement bénéficie d'un emplacement central si vous souhaitez vous aventurer à travers l'île pendant votre voyage! Love this place!

The views are beautiful. The owners respectful and friendly. The unit I stayed in was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again soon.

Great spot looking out over the coast. Rent a jeep, the drive up is long and bumpy, but well worth it.Centrally located for getting to all the spots.

Don't rely on Google to get you there. Centrally located but out of town. A really nice, quiet location with good views.

We really enjoyed staying at Windsor’s Rest ! So peaceful, Incredible views and wonderful hosts

The studio had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The views all around property are amazing of north shore and south shore, mountains and Windsor forest below. Will and Shaleece were very friendly and accommodating when we needed anything. They have big plans for this place to become like a resort with infinity pool so looking forward to being back for that! The internet was a little sketchy sometimes which is typical for the islands. Netflix also didn’t always work but really wasn’t a big deal. Great location especially for great restaurants and beach at Cane bay. We love St Croix and recommend this studio for a casual, comfortable place to stay with breathtaking views!

Most beautiful views on the island!

Will and his wife provided an incredible stay for my wife and I! I was there for work but we extended since it was our anniversary as well. We stayed a couple days at a resort and the transferred to this rental... honestly, we wish we stayed here the entire trip! The views are breath taking and they could not have been more accommodating; offering excursion suggestions and even a ride to their favorite beach! They are renovating the property so it was fascinating to hear about their plans. We also really enjoyed their roommates, their two dogs... so sweet. More inland so a car rental was a definite needed. 4x4 is recommended. We will absolutley be staying here again next time we're on the island!

Dark mountain seclusion

Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper, although if you're looking for quiet sleeping, this place is definitely quiet!

Thanks for the review Mark of our studio efficiency. As a private unit rental (not a hotel) we do not have a restaurant on site, but breakfast is included for you to cook in room, and includes many different options upon request. You specifically received 1lb bacon, a dozen eggs, a bottle of orange juice, fresh fruit, bread, butter, and jam. While cereal and milk are also options, there is much more available than just cereal and milk. Blankets and extra pillows and beach towels were in your closet. Most guests don't use the extra blankets here in the Caribbean so we typically don't lay them out on the bed. Toilet paper and paper towels can always be replenished upon request if you used more than expected during your short stay. While the property was built in 1972, it was remodeled in 2020. It has new appliances, sink, granite counters, tile, and bathroom fixtures. We have not had a guest ever comment that it is a very old property. We like the pull chain on the bathroom light to be honest as it adds character. :) Thank you for staying with us.

Great basecamp for exploring St. Croix

This property was a great basecamp for exploring everything St. Croix has to offer. It is located in the hills near the North Shore, about 15 minutes from Christiansted, about 15 minutes from Cane Bay (the place to go for excellent diving and a good beach), and less than 10 minutes from Salt River Bay (the place to go for kayak tours). It is quiet and secluded, with a nice view all the way out to Buck Island. It is located at the end of a steep dirt road, but with my SUV I had no issues getting there. The inside was clean and well maintained. Will and Shaleece were wonderful hosts. They reached out with helpful directions and information in advance, provided maps and a binder with restaurants and things to do, and even provided some food and snacks. I stayed here a week and would gladly return.

The location is excellent. Very close to kayak tours and Flyers bar. Just a few miles from the airport and downtown Christiansted. The property has some construction going on during the weekday by 8 or 9am but it didn't disturb us. No A/C in our room; I was comfy, but hot blooded hubby had a hard time cooling off. Hosts were accommodating, basic snacks and staples were very helpful. Maybe consider a handful of creamer packets to encourage use of coffee, oatmeal, etc. Beautiful, quiet property. Great view.

Will is an entrepreneur who owns a few companies in the entertainment industry, online marketing, software, and furniture industries. Will and Shaleece both love to scuba dive and hike and St. Croix is just the place for that! Ask, and they'll be happy to take you on a variety of guided dives, hikes, or tours around the island.

This property was purchased because of its amazing central location to everything on the island, beautiful scenic views (located on the scenic route, north shore), proximity to the best diving on the island, amazing constant breezes on top of the mountain, and the natural wooded preserve of Windsor's Forest below.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This apartment is part of the Windchime Estates, named after a 39 foot trimaran that sailed the world twice! The masts of the ship can be found in the home's construction which was rebuilt after Hugo in the 1980s. The ship was lost on a day charter out on Round Reef infront of Christiansted which you can see from the house. Originally the plan was to rebuild the ship, but after Hugo, pieces were used to reconstruct the home's porch and back patio! Today you can hear the music of the gentle windchimes on the property, hung as a reminder of its rich history!
