A great place! Turnkey, spotless and thoughtful amenities

This place is great. So many amenities with with deluxe linens and everything one needs for a vacation or business stay. The owner is so thoughtful and kind. The gated entrance and garden is a real WOW!

Cozy Florida apartment

We enjoyed all the special touches Ginette prepared for visitors in her delightful apartment. It was equipped with everything we needed, very clean and tastefully furnished. The front gardens were filled with carefully tended plants of all varieties, and the back screened cabana saved the day when it poured! A great place,

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

This seriously has been the best air bnb/vrbo property I’ve ever stayed at. Ginette was an amazing host. This house is located in its own courtyard so a sense of privacy and security is definitely noted. It’s literally minutes from the beach and close to awesome restaurants and clubs. I’ve stayed at other rental in the FLT/Maimi area and none can amount to this one. She welcomed us a clean home and stocked the fruit basket on the table with fresh mangoes and oranges. Coffee packs and creamers for the Keurig were fully loaded (I dont drink coffee but my friends loved it) and was also water bottles for us to drink after a long dat at the beach or waking up from a night drinking. Towels and toiletries were offered int eh bathroom in case we forgot an item such as toothpaste or q-tips which I’ve had trouble with in the pasts with hosts getting in touch with them) and a welcome note wishing us the best time. I honestly will stay here again if this property is open the time I come to Florida. She was so generous and so friendly. My favorite host and my favorite house and I’ve been traveling for quite a while not. Thank you Ginette! 5 stars!

Quiet, comfortable cottage amidst mystical garden

The perfect spot for those who enjoy a quiet location and spacious accommodations so you can spread out and not feel cramped. Big dining room and lots of closet space were a bonus, plus washer and dryer. The nicely decorated lower level unit was surrounded by a garden of curiosities, plants and fish pool. Gigi was delightful, helpful and interesting host. We regret we weren't able to eat at the nearby Riverside Market Cafe, so that's on our list for next time.

Ginette's Tropical Paradise

This property is a peaceful, tropical oasis away from the busy tourists of Ft. Lauderdale. Although a bit isolated, the property is amazing and Ginnette is a gem. Her home is clean and comfortable and very welcoming. I highly recommend it!

Great place to stay.

Very comfortable private apartment in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located close to the airport, beaches and golf courses. The apartment was well stocked with amenities and special touches to make our stay great. The tropical garden is a labor of love with many plants and fruit, enjoyed seeing the pineapple plant and papaya tree! Thank you, Ginette, for your prompt responses and follow up to all my inquiries. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Tropical Paradise

Ginette is a fabulous person and a wonderful host for our stay. Her place is a piece of tropical paradise wrapped up in a central Fort Lauderdale location. The apartment had everything we needed with a cozy living room, comfortable bed (so much that we slept in later than we have in a while), fully stocked kitchen and bath all surrounded by beautiful tropical plants outside. If you choose to sit outside she has areas where you can sit in the sun or in a shaded area. Close to the airport, beaches and central Fort Lauderdale. Water taxi is a short walk through a quiet neighborhood. We will surely come back again and visit Ginette and her bit of paradise.

Beautiful Garden Oasis

This rental property completely fit our needs as a respite from the chaos of the FLL-MIA metropolis. The apartment was clean, well decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is a little small , but as we ate most of our lunches and dinners out, that wasn't too much of a factor. It worked perfectly for the meals we did prepare there. We had considered having a dinner in to grill, but it just didn't happen. The garden is GORGEOUS and the host's love of her garden and nature was extremely obvious in the care she took in tending it. Tropical flowers, fruit trees, orchids and air plants, all with lizards and birds and butterflies flitting about. Every time I walked through the garden, whether to go to or from the car, or to just explore, I found some new and beautiful surprise. The property is very close to I-95, I-595, FLL airport and downtown Port Lauderdale, but feels as if it is in a less suburban neighborhood. The Riverside Market, a local place with good pizza and other food, as well as an extensive selection of craft beer to enjoy is within walking distance, as well as a craft beer store. There are several groceries very nearby, and easy to get to with the help of a GPS for us out-of-towners. The host, Ginette, is a wonderfully warm, accommodating and gracious woman. All in all, this tropical oasis was a perfect respite after navigating the chaos of South Florida traffic. We would DEFINITELY consider staying here again.

Loved every minute of our stay at this wonderful place!

A wonderful home with an equally wonderful owner! The house was equipped, decorated, and maintained with guests comfort and enjoyment in mind. Beautifully kept with every amenity a guest could need. Ginette could not possibly have been more accommodating, kind and generous. We would stay here again in a second. The location was absolutely perfect. Walking through the pretty neighborhood, nearby Sailboat Bend and within a mile or so of Las Olas Blvd and The Riverwalk, made the location a dream. We encourage anyone visiting this area to stay here. Ginette will make sure you are comfortable beyond measure in the prettiest garden setting and pleasant home possible.

Quiet and accommodating

I recently stayed at Ginette’s Garden house for 24 days. From the entrance into her lovely garden to Ginette’s calm and accommodating demeanor, the atmosphere was just what I needed. The location is convenient for whatever you want to do in Lauderdale, however, far enough away from the noise and hustle-bustle to give you a calm and quiet place to retire in the evening. The accommodations are clean, the master bed very comfortable, and the apartment includes an awesome washer and dryer. The kitchen was adequately equipped for cooking my favorite meals with the bonus of a Krupa coffee maker, and an electric hot water kettle. When I compared the price against a hotel, that would not have the conveniencies that Genette’s apartment offers, the decision was a no brainer. I would recommend staying here.

Truly wonderful vacation rental!

What a great vacation house! Lots of places to relax outside in the beautiful garden, which has tons of tropical plants and fruit trees. Kitchen with tons of appliances, AC units work very well. Ginette is very kind and has snacks, coffee, tea, and toiletries available. She is a great host- very friendly and open to help with anything you might need. Very knowledgeable about all the plants in her garden and the neighborhood! For the readers out there, there is a Little Free Library right in front of the house and a couple more throughout the neighborhood. Several parks nearby with play grounds for the kids. It's a lovely neighborhood to walk through with lots of beautiful gardens and friendly people. 15 min drive to the beach and less to the downtown district, museums, etc. A really lovely place to stay and an excellent host.

Modern comfort in relaxing setting.

My husband I recently spent a month at this magnificent property. Reminiscent of a gentler time of a bygone era, the property offers all the modern amenities, including state of the art washer and dryer in the unit. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and attractively furnished. A patio with gas barbecue brought out the chef in my husband. The lush grounds are private, with seating and lounging areas that lend themselves to lazing in the breeze. The quiet, historic neighborhood, boasting mature vegetation and amazing ancient Oak Trees, is ideal for walking Trendy La Olas and its dining and attractions is nearby, as are the airport and port. The owner lives on site and went out of her way to make sure that our stay was everything we expected. Definitely a great find at an affordable price.
