This is my 2nd time staying at the house, I would highly recommend for a girls weekend. Theres everything you need plus a great outdoor space. The check in and out process is the easiest out of any place I’ve stayed. The caretaker is on premises to help with anything. Close to town!

This lodge had a very low key, laid back atmosphere. The view of the lake was great. The care taker was extremely friendly and co-operative. The beds were comfortable and had nice bedding. The kitchen had plenty of matching plates, bowls and cups and good appliances. We had a very pleasant experience.

Nine women stayed at the cabin. We had a fabulous time. Up until we got there if I ever had any questions, Jodi was very prompt and courteous in responding. Once we got there, Pat was such a great host. He was so friendly and attentive to our needs. The cabin was clean, comfortable and accommodating for all of us. The deck with its view was fantastic! Highly recommend.

It was very helpful to have the caretaker on the property. He was very attentive and helpful. Very convenient location both to the river and to downtown Stillwater. There is plenty of space and the patio is awesome.

Bachelor Party Weekend

This was a perfect place for a bachelor party on the water and for downtown nightlife and restaurants for dinner. It was an uber away from everything or a 30 minute walk. There was lots of parking as well.

Gem of a find!

Absolutely loved staying at this house. It’s a beautiful location, very close to downtown Stillwater with lots to do! We had a blast on this trip and the house was perfect! Pat stopped by to check in on us and made us feel so welcome. Would definitely come back!

Excellent Stay for a Team

Our team rented this to do some offsite planning. The house was as pictured. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, good layout, excellent outdoor space and nice view of the river. It was less than a 5 minute drive to get downtown which was really convenient to grab groceries or go out to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

Great time in Stillwater-EXCELLENT LOCATION

We had 3 adult couples stay at this very roomy (lots of space for everyone) VRBO on the banks of the St. Croix River. It was a convenient walk on the trail to town or a very brief drive into the downtown historical district. Lots of shops, restaurants and sites to explore in the area. Weather was delightful but since the river was high due to recent rains, we didn't get in any water activities. We enjoyed the trolley ride that gave us a tour and history of the area.

Great get-away property

We chose this lodge for a special anniverary get away and we loved it. The space is large and the kitchen is well equiped. We spent all of our time on the the upper level, but if we came with a crowd we would have used all the sleeping quarters and entertaining areas on the first floor level. We needed air conditioning, a dish washer and access to the Internet. This property had great air conditioning and all the appliances were working. The views of the marina and river are great from the large dining area, living area and main bedroom. There are curtains and blinds to keep the early morning sun from being a problem. There is a regular coffee maker, not a Keurig, but that worked for us. A variety of dishes, pots, pans, glasses and such is provided. If you need soap other than liquid soap in the bath, bring your own. Uber is available, both for rides into Stillwater and for Uber Eats delivery. We especially enjoyed the huge deck/patio with ample seating, umbrella coverage and view of the river. The marina may have been noisy/busy, but the rooms in the lodge were quiet and comfortable. This is a great place for a couples get away and would work well for a crowd. As other reviewers have noted, our host Pat greeted us upon arrival and introduced us to the property. He helped me move some of our packed luggage into the home and was ready to resolve any issues that could possibly arise. He is a lovely person who made us feel welcome and safe without invading our privacy.
