While the restoration work occurred for only one day during your stay, we understand how disappointing it was that it affected the beachfront experience you were looking forward to. Whenever we receive advance notice of projects or temporary disruptions that may affect our guests, we make every effort to communicate that information before arrival. Unfortunately, we were not provided with advance notice of the restoration schedule, so we were unable to share those details with you before your stay. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our communication whenever circumstances outside our control arise. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We were especially disappointed to learn that your stay did not meet expectations, as we understood this trip was to celebrate your parents’ 80th birthday. To help make the occasion special, we decorated the condo with birthday-themed décor and linens, arranged fresh flowers, and provided a welcome basket. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we take all housekeeping concerns seriously. After receiving your review, we immediately contacted both our cleaning company and the HOA to better understand the issues raised. While we do not manage the building’s common areas, we recognize that they contribute to the overall guest experience. We also conducted an additional inspection of the unit, as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness is something we consistently strive for. Regarding the photo included with your review, we determined that the discoloration shown was a small area of surface rust on a bathroom light fixture. In an oceanfront environment, salt air and humidity can cause cosmetic rust to develop quickly. While it did not affect cleanliness or functionality, we appreciated the opportunity to identify and address it. We are pleased that you enjoyed the ocean view, one of the property’s most appreciated features.
