Perfect family holiday rental

Great stay close to town centre

The house had all we could have asked for. Even despite a small hiccup with some plumbing, we were well looked after.

Very clean and good property

It is a small gouse but it os enough to accomodate 7 of us. The place is really clean, the check in and check out process is easy and a rellay enjoyable stay. The house was really warm and the heater worked really good.

Pleasant home in a lovely setting

The property is on a large block with beautiful gardens, plenty of space, lots of lovely trees and grassy areas. The home was very pleasant and accommodated the five of us very comfortably, with all amenities available.

Great 5 days in Bright

Stayed as a family of 5. House was clean and well stocked, no complaints. House nice and close to Mystic Park if U are into Mountain Biking.

Cozy

Great location heaps of land for the kids to run around on. Love the fruit trees in the backyard. Old house basic bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen but it all works well. Love the fire place. We had a great weekend will book again.

Warm cosy litte house

Nice and clean, I don't think there is enough hot water for 7 people for a one day. Afternoon no hot water need to wait till next morning. We really enjoyed staying in this little home. We would like to go there again.

Good location, very good for family stay.

Very Good location, enjoyed the stay but house was very old with paint coming off on multiple locations. Worse thing out all was the furniture in the house was in very bad condition either broken or damaged. With some good maintenance this place would have been one of the best.

6/10 – Acceptable

An old property but great wood burning fire.

We enjoyed our stay in Bright however were disappointed about a few things at this property. The kitchen was quite grubby and old, it lacked some of the basics (such as a scrubbing brush for dishes) which we had to buy. Also on the first morning we awoke to find frozen pipes so no running water, flushing toilets etc. which was frustrating especially when you've got young kids. The water didn't come back until about 12pm. Luckily this just happened the first morning. Apparently this is common for homes in Bright during winter, but we didn't know since we're not from the area. Also there wasn't enough hot water for all 5 of us to have showers. The wood burning fire was great! Overall we loved exploring the town of Bright and there was lots to keep us busy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positive experience! Had everything we needed for our snow weekend away. Approx 1hr 20mins to Falls Creek for skiing and boarding. Heating worked well and had optional fireplace stocked with some cut wood. The house was generally clean, but it is in need of a complete spring clean to really tidy it up. Oven not clean. Beds were all neatly presented. Take own sheets and bathroom towels as none available. No WIFI. Location was perfect: quiet street, nice sized block, walking distance to town, a Lookout walking track diagonally across the road. Amenities all worked well. Good communication from Property Manager and clear, easy key pick-up and drop-off instructions. Would use this Vacation Rental again.

Oldie but a goodie

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 7 of us stay for 7 nights. Overall it's a great home, although a bit dated it had pretty much everything we needed. The heating was fantastic, although it broke for a couple of days Bright Holidays were quick to get it fixed and had great communication. We had also ordered linen that didn't arrive but after a phone call we had it dropped off in around half an hour. Overall the place is comfortable and is very close to town. There was plenty of cooking pots and pans for family size meals. There was no salt, pepper, sauce etc so you would need to bring all of that yourself. We also had to buy bin bags, cling wrap, alfoil etc. It would be handy to have a chest of drawers in each room to unpack. 7 days out a suitcase was a bit tricky with the 4 kids. The washer and dryer was great too. The only downside to this property is the hot water. We were lucky to get 3 showers out of it. Usually we got a bath for the kids to share, 1 normal shower and 1 ultra fast shower. Then the last adult would have to have a cold shower or shower in the morning. Apart from the this property was great and we would most likely stay again. While in Bright be sure to check out the apple orchard, we hired bikes for half day from Bright electric bikes and rode them out. This was easy for our 8 and 10 year Olds. Also be sure to check out the trout farm and the deer and emu farms, both of these experiences were great for the kids. We also travelled to Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mount buffalo but our favourite was Cresta at mount buffalo. Excellent tobogganing, you won't find a better toboggan run. Also great cross country skiing. We went to the lookout for an alpine sunrise, this was incredible and a must do! Be sure to get there at least half an hour before the sun is due to rise!

Peaceful Getaway

Set in a lovely half-acre garden in a quiet part of Bright and within walking distance to town, we enjoyed the autumnal colours of Bright. Although a little dated, this house was clean, with comfy beds, fresh carpets, and a well-stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for a weekend away. And great heating options too! We were cozy, but make sure you bring kindling if you want a fire. We'll be back!
