Votre voisin est la forêt. Un paradis pour les amoureux de la nature. Dans une rue sans issue calme avec beaucoup d'intimité. Randonnée à droite par la porte arrière dans le canyon et dans la forêt nationale. Explorez les sentiers sur nos trois vélos de montagne. Nous avons également de belles fosses de fer à cheval de sable. Profitez de notre grande terrasse enveloppante avec table, chaises, barbecue à gaz, foyer au gaz et chauffe-terrasse. Les étoiles sont incroyables la nuit.

Notre cabine est confortable et propre. Il est bien équipé avec toutes les commodités habituelles de la maison. Nous fournissons des draps et des serviettes. Apportez simplement vos vêtements, votre nourriture et vos boissons. Nous avons Internet haute vitesse, télévision câblée HD avec Netflix, laveuse, sécheuse et savon pour votre commodité. Salles de bain à chaque étage. Foyer au bois approvisionné pour votre usage. Chauffage central et climatisation pour les quelques jours très chauds que nous recevons en été.

Le lac Odell est à une courte distance de marche pour la pêche, le kayak et la randonnée. Nous avons un accès facile aux sentiers de randonnée, aux pistes cyclables, aux sentiers de VTT et de motoneige. Le golf est à 0. 7 mile away au luxuriant Pinewood Country Club qui est ouvert au public. Les verts sont incroyables. Le country club possède un restaurant populaire proposant des activités l'après-midi et le soir, accessibles moyennant des frais supplémentaires (veuillez nous contacter si vous êtes intéressé). Le country club et le parcours de golf sont ouverts de façon saisonnière d'avril à septembre (veuillez vous renseigner à l'avance pour les dates exactes d'ouverture / fermeture)

Notre cabine sert de base pratique pour explorer le nord de l'Arizona. La célèbre ville de Sedona est un trajet panoramique facile de 45 minutes. Flagstaff est à 20 minutes au nord avec son charme éclectique, ses restaurants et ses terrains de golf. Ski de neige à l'Arizona Snowbowl est à 45 minutes. Le Snowbowl est également un bel endroit à visiter en été pour manger, pique-niquer, faire de la randonnée et du vélo. Le Grand Canyon est à environ 90 minutes. Les autres points d'intérêt incluent Oak Creek Canyon, Slide Rock, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon Indian Ruins, Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course, la célèbre Route 66, etc. Ils sont tous relativement courts en voiture depuis notre cabine.

Relaxing and cozy spot with everything you need!

We had the BEST time staying here! The location is absolutely perfect with the river bed behind for nice long hikes to explore with the kids. The kitchen was stocked with spices and cooking supplies and we had everything we needed! The owners were easy to communicate with and there anytime we had a question. Would absolutely stay here again and again!

Northern Arizona Adventure

Solitude within easy driving distance of major destinations—Grand Canyon, Sedona, National Forests, Parks, and Monuments. House seems to have everything you could want regardless of the season. Host was great about communicating before our arrival and prior to our departure.

We had a fantastic experience with the weekend rental! The place was immaculately clean and felt incredibly safe, which immediately made me feel at ease. It was stocked with everything I could possibly need, from toiletries to kitchen essentials, which really made the stay effortless. The beds were super comfortable, and I slept well. Tim is also very responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable stay, and I would definitely return!

Beautiful views

We loved the property, it is as described. Had everything we needed in the kitchen etc. Beds were super comfy as well. Can hike right from property and location is quiet and perfect for getting to Flagstaff (20 min drive). We will be back in the winter! Thanks so much!

This was a great place to come home to after a day of exploring. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. I am used to bringing my own coffee, spices, kitchen tools, but this place had everything imaginable!

A Touch of Serenity

rented this cabin to be close to Grand Canyon

This property has such beautiful views and the decks you can enjoy the sound of the water below. There was still snow on the ground so the kids were able to use the snow toys and had a blast. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again for sure. Our property Mng. Tim was available and very helpful.

Lovely cabin so very well equipped with everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the deck. Where the dogs could be safe outside. Only wish there was a way to get down to the stream. Also would like more information about fishing in the lake. We all had a great time and look forward to a returning visit thanks so much for a great four days.

Judy- Thank you for the very nice review. Sorry you were not able to get down to the creek bed easily out the back of our cabin. The pathway we typically use is a little steep for a few feet and you have to watch your step. I hope that you guys did get to enjoy fishing at Lake O'Dell nearby. It's a private lake for residents and our guests. There always seems to be people fishing along the shoreline there. Thank you for being a great guest and we look forward to seeing you again!

Beautiful and cozy cabin right next to a bubbling creek!

We had such an amazing time! The cabin was extremely clean and well-stocked. Close to the freeway, but far enough away where you feel like you are in your own world. We visited in early January to enjoyed the snow, however both of us agreed that this cabin would be an awesome summer getaway too - with the large warp around deck and outdoor ambiance! This house by far one of the most cleanest and comfortable I’ve ever stayed!!

My family and friends spent new years in this house and let me tell you!! We had an amazing time , we didn’t do much outdoors because the weather didn’t help so we spent alot of time inside! This house has everything!! Very clean, comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed it to cook our meals , amazing views.. close to gas station and a cute little bar called el borracho we had great time there, we we’re all adults, total of 8 and the house had plenty of space for all of us, This house is very very cozy in the winter , nice chimney with lots of wood to use Easy to check in and out And let me tell you ! Tim is amazing, very quick to respond to any question or concerns , I will stay here again for sure , making plans for the summer, there’s lots to do outdoors Thank you Tim for your hospitality!!

Warm Comfy Cabin Retreat on Munds Canyon Rd in Munds Park, Arizona

As a child, my grandparents had an A-frame cabin in Yosemite near Tuolumne Meadows where we had many fun family retreats, so I wanted a similar experience at least for a brief period for my family now. For a unique family get together, we decided to reserve this cabin rather than the usual hotel in Flagstaff for our youngest daughter's college graduation at NAU. Initially, I saw this cabin listed on VRBO several months back when we were scheduling our trip. It seemed to fit our needs perfectly with three bedrooms, beds for up to 9 adults, two baths, showing a classic A-frame cabin design with tongue and groove wood ceilings on the main level and upstairs. Actually, the thing that most impressed me was the spacious deck. So I was even more impressed when we arrived to find that there is a dry creek behind this property, so when you sit on the deck it is super quiet and private. Plus the deck is made out of an upgraded Trex material so you won't get a splinter if you walk barefooted. The Mahoney's have outfitted the cabin with everything you need to cook and serve your meals and it was immaculate with all the towels and soaps we needed in the bathrooms. We used the large patio dining table on the deck for our dinners and even used the fire-pit and heater later at night while stargazing. Tim has provided two bikes and a two man kayak in the basement storage area, which we didn't have a chance to use, maybe next time? One afternoon, we walked down to Odell Lake, however we couldn't see how we would even use the lake since there were many signs warning us not to trespass. On our last day, we drove to Sedona, which is a 45 minute drive either from Flagstaff using 89 or going south on 17. It was lovely weather so we got some wonderful photos of Sedona. During our stay, the weather was warm during the day, so we didn't need to use the fireplace or heater. The nights were chilly but we stayed warm under the ample covers on each bed. The beds are very soft, so that is good for those who prefer soft beds, however not so good if you need more support for your back. I would recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a home away from home experience in the Flagstaff area. The photos need to be updated for some of the interior views with a wide angle lens or panorama tool. Overall, I look forward to returning to revisit this lovely cabin oasis in Northern Arizona! Also, Tim was a delight to work with on reserving this property and very responsive.

Leslie- Thank you so much for the great review. Regarding your comment on access to Lake O'Dell, I did want to respond that access to the lake can be gained off of Raintree Rd. about 0.4 miles from our cabin. There is a pretty wide open space between two houses on the corner that is a public/common area for residents to picnic, fish, hike around, launch your kayaks, etc. You can park your car down there too. I appreciate your comment and will provide this additional information on our website along with a pic and map. Regarding the softness of the beds, I agree that it will be great for some folks and maybe on the soft side for others. But I did want to be sure to point out that all of the pillow-top mattresses (except for the two pop-up trundles) were all purchased brand new just last summer from Costco. Just wanted to make sure folks know that any softness is not due to age. Again, thanks for your nice review and we hope to see you back soon!.

Very clean and quiet

The cabin was very clean. Loved the patio. Enjoyed the horseshoe game. They have nice bike for use. We didn’t , the home is on a steep hillside and It was more work to get the bike up the driveway. Neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Loved the cabin.

Tim is a native of Arizona.... grew up in Scottsdale and Tempe. His wife Pam is pretty close to a native as well, moving from Ohio to Tempe as a kid. They both graduated from McClintock High School in Tempe, then ASU, have been married since 1984, live in Chandler, and have four children.
