Belle maison de lac tranquille en Floride centrale

La maison est située sur un lac privé de 100 acres. Le lac McMeekin est un lac d’eau claire alimenté par une source, idéal pour la pêche et la baignade. (Chargé avec du poisson de basse et de casserole) La maison a un grand porche blindé qui fait face au lac pour regarder le coucher du soleil. Il est entièrement meublé avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Wi si et télévision par satellite, 2 kayaks, canoë et utilisation du quai. Le quartier est calme, à la campagne. Situé entre Gainesville et Palatka. Les deux 1/2 heure de route.

Beautiful lake view

The property was clean, quiet and all amenities were provided.! All we needed to bring were our clothes, food and liquid refreshments! Our hosts were super friendly, accommodating but not overbearing. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning in the evening..

Sorry for this bad experience from the start. We have 1 small dog or cat policy in our rules and Savery brought 7 dogs!!! (And a bird) When we discovered this she admitted she had lied but took a chance and didn’t realize that we lived next door. We asked her to keep 4 dogs on the screened in back porch. One poor dog barked ALL night. Sunday nothing could be done as in looking for a kennel. Monday she claimed she she was taking them there. Again a lie (or partial) We saw 4 dogs still there. That is when we called VRBO and asked her to leave. We NEVER went over after hours. The dogs destroyed a section of carpet off the master bedroom and several stains. It was a very bad experience.

Beautiful and Quiet spot in the country!

Our first night we were presented by the most beautiful sunset my wife and I have ever seen! We stayed at Cindy and Randys property for 6 weeks while travel nursing in Gainesville. Check in was a breeze! Great place to relax after stressfull days. We used the dock to swim several times a week, loaded up on vitamin D! C&R are so nice and accommodating! Nothing but great experiences throughout our stay! Located only 75 minutes from St. Augustine beach, 45 min from Silver springs, and 30 min from Gainesville! These locations are prime Florida fun! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful view. Great owners!

Randy was so helpful. Our son is in a wheelchair and Randy brought a ramp over to get the wheelchair up the stairs. The view is so peaceful, looking out at the lake.

Perfect for me.

It’s difficult to say enough good things about this property. The accommodations were more than sufficient, the hosts were wonderful and went over and above to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, even fishing bait! Extremely pleased

Went to visit my 2 sons who live 2 hours away from each other. This house was a perfect location between them both. It is 1 hour from Jacksonville, 1 hour from St Augustine & about 20 mins from Gainesville. Perfect location if you want to visit multiple locations while on vacation. The owners were wonderful, so helpful and inviting. They have a great set up for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the lake life. House was perfect size for the 3 of us. Normally when we vacation we stay at a Hilton, I am so happy that we chose to book at this house. So much better than a hotel, we didn't have to worry about other people running down the hallways, or slamming doors and much more affordable. We will definitely book with them on our next vacation to Florida.
