Really a cute cabin and it was so quiet and very peaceful. Had a hard time getting out the door to go to activities, we really just wanted to hang out there!Unfortunately the town of Helen doesn’t open up till later in the day (during winter) so getting food from a restaurant for breakfast or lunch was impossible.

This was our second year in a row staying in this sweet little cabin! It was the perfect little Christmas getaway for me and my two sons. The cabin is very clean and cozy, we love the fireplace and hot tub, and I feel very safe staying there alone with two kids. Close to town and all the restaurants/attractions. Property manager is excellent with communication and even let me know to expect trash pickup a day early so I wouldn’t be alarmed when they showed up. We will be back again next year!

Would HIGHLY recommend! The cabin was very clean and cozy. Plenty of sleeping space for those with larger families. The host was extremely attentive with prompt responses. He gave us a list of local activities and places to eat which was super helpful. TONS of wineries in the area and if you don’t mind a bit of a drive, Fainting Goat winery was fun! Be sure to stop at the Old Sautee Store and the others in that little area! Lots of LOCAL artisan goods!

Everything was as pictured and perfect. The communication with steve was amazing. From start to finish he kept great communication. He even went out of his way to suggest nearby restaurants and activities to do. We had a folder of the whole area and it showed what to do and where to eat at. It was amazing. Ive never had such a great host like this ever. I really appreciated that, thank you. Cabin was spotless and cleaned throughly. Hot tub was great. Loved that the cabin was secluded but still a few mins from town. Definitely would recommend this cabin! Thank you

Steve was a GREAT host, and the cabin was exactly as describe. Everything was there that we need for a comfortable stay. We really liked the area where the cabin was located. It rained the whole time we were there, therefore the hot tub and movies were great!

We stayed 3 nights over Labor Day weekend and loved the cabin. Everything was perfect and we ended up spending more time in the cabin that we had originally planned because of how tranquil it was. It rained one day while we were there so we stayed in the hot tub and it was utter peace.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort! This place was adorable! Very cozy for sure. The driveway is a little tricky but not the worst we’ve seen. Appreciated the motion lights as we arrived after dark. GPS was spot on.

This is our second stay at this cabin and our third time renting from Steve. Everytime has been perfect. Cabin is spotless and location is just right! Love watching the deer come by the cabin!

Wonderful cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay at Oakridge. Our grandchildren and son appreciated having the large room upstairs with a few toys and games to play. They enjoyed winding down at night with a movie on the TV. The wrap around porch was a hit for the girls to run around safely. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and the perfect size for 3 small children and an adult or two to ensure their safety. The bathtubs were perfect for hot showers and gave ample room to get ready for the day in the bathroom. Just a couple of observations that might help with decision-making. The outside property of the cabin has steep hills and very wooded. Also, when little feet are upstairs moving around , they can definitely be heard in the bedroom downstairs. We loved that the steps had vertical posts so the children could easily hold on to something on the way up and down the steps. The proximity to Babyland, Helen, and Unicoi State Park was super convenient.

Anne and I have always dreamed of one day having a place of our own in this beautiful area of the state---Once I talked my brother and sister in-law to going in with us on this venture---we purchased "OAK RIDGE".Over the years we have continued the memories of going to the mountains---now with our children and grand children.
