Thanks for the review. I am glad you found the property beautiful and enjoyed your stay. I want to address your allegations for the record, though. As for your remark about the property description being misleading relative to each bedroom having its own bath, I perused the listing description again and could not find where you read this. Besides, you state that the first thing you try to do is to ensure that each bedroom has its own bath. I beg your pardon, but you never asked me whether each bedroom had its own bath before booking. This means that you did not ensure that such was the case. I am always upfront during inquiries because I don't want to mischaracterize features of any of my lake and beach houses just to make some money. I strive to meet my guests' requirements. The longevity of my hospitality business hinges on delighted guests who are fully aware of what they rent. During your stay you faced an issue with the second refrigerator. You reached out. And I offered the option to use the spare freezer in the basement, a beverage cooler, and 2 other wine coolers until I discovered that you packed the second refrigerator freezer so much that you cut off the air flow. I guided you until you decongested the refrigerator freezer, and it finally resumed normal cooling. This means that I was available to handle issues as they arose. Furthermore, all my properties including this one, have regular pest control. However, if during your stay you leave doors open, insects will sneak in. The only guarantee is that they will die. And why didn't you ask me about insecticides? We have a closet in the laundry room packed with such things, including a wasps killer spray. You also remarked that you did not have enough towels. Really? You were only 8 (i.e., 4 couples). I certify each house prior to check-in and can assure you that my housekeepers left 2 white bath towels and 2 washcloths on every bed (3 Kings, 1 Queen, and 2 Fulls) and 1 white bath towel and 1 washcloth on the only single bed. This means that you had 13 white bath towels and 13 washcloths. Besides, we also leave you 1 beach towel per guest. Perhaps, the house was too big for your group, and you did not bother visiting all the rooms and make use of all the bedrooms. We have a suite in the basement with its attached full bath (I suspect you never visited this one). Plus, the master suite on main with its own bath. A third bedroom upstairs with its own bath, and finally 4th and 5th bedrooms with 1 shared full bath. This means that your 4 couples should have had their own dedicated full bath. Next time, please, fully explore the property you rent. And if you have questions, issues or needs pertaining to your stay, please, call/text the owner/manager in charge. Most owners/managers are very responsive and are eager to please their guests. Also, do due diligence and ensure that your rent a property that meets your needs.

Julie, thanks for sharing your experience. We have a capacity of 11 to 14 in beds. The futons needed to be requested ahead of time. We would never subject our guests to sleep on futons. Some of them do have such needs in rare occasions. For example, having all kids sleep together in the same room. The 6 futons that were listed would mean a capacity of 20. I hope you understand. As for the firewood, we never advertised free firewood. While I understand the convenience of having firewood available, we would charge you for purchase and delivery. Half a cord is about $120 plus delivery charge. As for the propane tank, I expected you to let me know immediately because we respond very fast to issues that impact your enjoyment. Case in point, our rapid response to the request for futons. Nevertheless, lesson learned, I am providing a backup propane tank going forward. As for the couple of "spots" on the carpet, it was a teaching moment for my housekeeping crew. The stains were removed, and I'll make sure this doesn't happen again. We are known for providing a very clean house. Best, Ray

Bob, Thanks for the feedback. We value it tremendously. Check-in is 4 pm. However, my crew was still on the premises for one more hour, which by my standards, is unacceptable. I reprimanded them accordingly. I think I have compensated you handsomely by granting you a late checkout and making other considerations. There was a small picture frame that fell in the garage and broke indeed. I deemed this an accident, which my cleaning crew was not aware of, based on their recollection. We've since disposed of the shattered glass. As for the septic leakage observed in the backyard, it is a phenomenon that became apparent only recently and is due to excessive water consumption for an old leach field made of sand. I have taken steps since to correct the issue by replacing the sandy field with the latest in leach field technology. I am expanding the leach field as well. Although you have mentioned the renovation of part of the terrace level, it was neither advertised to you nor was it underway during your stay. And yes, at any point in time, any part of the property can be upgraded. I make sure however that such improvements are not publicized so that they do not become a factor in one's considerations for monthly rental or timeshare. In fact, I had committed to deliver the terrace-level bar, full bath, and bedroom to my current tenant for the month. I did deliver. So, the terrace level renovation is now complete. Dear Louise, You've become a veteran of Admiral's Club as a repeat customer and one who's looking forward to experience more updates at this great lake house. Your opinion has staying power because you stayed at this home twice already, spending 1 full month each time. Your reviews are a postcard to future guests who intend to spend a minimum of 1 month at this amazing lake home. BTW, the lake views have been greatly enhanced.
