NOUVEL ART DESIGNER DE 2 STORY ART LOFT À PROXIMITÉ DU QUARTIER ET DU ST FRANCAIS!

À quelques pâtés de maisons du quartier français, nous avons découvert un cottage créole antebellum abandonné, laissé en ruine, au bord de l'effondrement. C'était un coup de foudre.

Nous avons passé deux ans à réinventer et à reconstruire méticuleusement la maison. La conception respecte l'histoire architecturale du chalet, tant par son ampleur que par ses matériaux, tout en introduisant une esthétique moderne minimaliste et une appréciation de la patine que le temps apporte.

Nous sommes venus à la Nouvelle-Orléans en vacances et ne sommes jamais partis. Peut-être que vous aussi.

• 6 pâtés de maisons du quartier français
• 2 pâtés de maisons de Frenchmen Street, une épicerie et un stand de location de vélos

Juste à côté du quartier, se trouve le quartier en plein essor du Faubourg Marigny, une destination de musique live avec une sous-culture de poche en soi. Au cours de la dernière décennie, le Marigny est devenu l'un des centres vitaux de la ville. Le Marigny abrite certains des meilleurs bars et discothèques de la Nouvelle-Orléans, le long de la rue Frenchmen, l'artère principale du quartier. Juste en aval se trouve le Bywater, un lieu de naissance pour certains des nouveaux restaurants les plus inventifs de la Nouvelle-Orléans.

Nous sommes également sur le chemin du défilé de P'Tit Rex (flotteurs de boîtes à chaussures) et à seulement 2 pâtés de maisons de nombreux défilés parmi les plus excentriques de la ville: défilés Krewe du Vieux, Delusion, Chewbacchus et Sainte-Anne *

Lovely property that is extremely comfortable. Just what a home away from home should be. Parking was never a problem. The neighborhood was just the right mix of New Orleans vibe and Vacation chill. Got to see parts of 2 parades, which was fantastic. Would definitely recommend,.

AMAZING STAY!!! Could not recommend enough.

The house was amazing and clean. The location was perfect to see all parts of the city by walking. A really great grocery store right around the corner. Communication with the owner was great. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our Mardi Gras trip. If you’re thinking of staying here you better do it quick before I steal it first.

Exactly as advertised

The property was a perfect fit for us and made our stay very special. Nice neighborhood with a nearby grocery store and cafe; we felt comfortable walking around day or night. Frenchman street also close. Host was very responsive. Only complaints were that the sofa was low to the ground (a little hard to get up from) and the dining table chairs weren't very comfortable, but those are subjective. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place for small group/family

Really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for us four friend. Near enough to walk to good restaurants, music, French Quarter. Good grocery nearby (Roberts). Authentic NOLA neighborhood. Place was nicely remodeled, not super high-end, but had all we needed for a long weekend. Be aware of "loft" style location of main bed; with polished concrete floors and open plan, the interior sound travels! Neighborhood overall was pretty quiet, no noise issues. Comfortable beds. Good communication. Nice little outdoor seating area (very private). Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and convenient

The property was exactly as listed and my friends and I had a great time. Conveniently located to all the sights, with great amenities nearby but not in a noisy area, the space is beautifully designed and a great haven for a busy trip to New Orleans. The owners were responsive and reachable, and all the instructions were very clear. We would absolutely return here!

Beautiful home and perfect location!

Had a great visit and enjoyed as much as we possibly could. Maison Blanche was as promised and a great base. We took all the recommendations we could from the homeowners curated list and the best one was renting bikes. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Love Maison Blanche!!!

Enjoyed an awesome weekend in New Orleans! We loved the ease of staying at this historic home. Clean, Modern, Comfortable and had everything we needed. Wonderful to have some essential food and drink items available upon arrival. Location was convenient for walking to neighborhood spots and for getting to other parts of town by car. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot in the Marigny

Thank you so much for this experience. Our trip was delayed for a year+ due to Covid. But we were just able to come (thank you vaccines) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This house is a quick stroll to Frenchman and all the fun that is there but we spent more time exploring the Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods. There are great restaurants to be found (N7 is amazing & the tacos at Rosalitos are great) and neighborhood is gorgeous for walks. The Quarter is just also just a quick stroll. There is a great grocery store nearby. The place is very comfortable and we loved it.

Wonderful house and wonderful host!

This was my first trip to New Orleans and was not sure about the best location to stay. Not only was this house in the perfect location to so much, AnnMarie was a wonderful hostess. She was responsive and accommodating. The house is adorable, clean, with sweet details and additions. I would highly recommend staying here! And make sure to enjoy looking through Before I Die!

comfortable clean house

I had the pleasure of spending the last week at this property. The house was very clean, and comfortable. The outdoor area was cozy. It was very close to the music on Frenchman street and definitely within walking distance of most activities in and around the French quarter. There was a nice grocery store/ deli within 2 blocks. The owners were very accessible and responded quickly to any questions. They even held our luggage after checkout due to us having a late flights. I would stay here again

Modern, clean, centrally-located

The house has a great modern vibe, and is situated in a very cool neighborhood. There are lots of great food spots well within walking distance. The touristy area is only a bit of a longer walk away. The backyard at the house was a great little area for post-dinner relaxation. All of the sleeping areas are great too. Perfect house for a small group.

Beautifully reconstructed loft steps away from Frenchmen street and the French Quarter!

What a gem! This loft is new, clean and spacious and AnnMarie and Isaac were the epitome of southern hospitality! From cozy coffee shops to tasty restaurants and friendly neighborhood bars, this place and its surrounding establishments have so much to offer. We felt very safe strolling around at night and we will definitely look to book again in the future!

Beautiful house and great location!

I rented this house for a long weekend reunion with two friends. First, let me say it is a beautiful, modern house exactly as depicted in the photos. The location is excellent, just a couple blocks from the music on Frenchmen Street. The house is in a quieter neighborhood which I prefer to staying right in the French Quarter, but is a a quick walk to the Quarter for meals and nights out. The host was wonderful, sending a detailed email about the property and then following up to let us know about some of the early Mardi Gras parades that were nearby, including right down our street one night. The host also provided some nice touches like eggs, milk and a few beers in the fridge. I feel bad that we didn't take advantage of everything provided, but it was great to have it right there. The large king bed upstairs was among the most comfortable I've slept in recently and everyone else also said their rooms were quite comfortable. If I had one complaint or warning, it's that the house lets in lots of light, so sleeping in after a late night out was a bit difficult. But if that's all there is to worry about, why quibble! Thanks for the great stay and I will definitely book this place again.
