Anniversary Trip

My husband and I came to Dallas for our anniversary, and this place was in such a great location. Could have easily walked to so many things! Everything was really close we wanted to do and the place was clean and well stocked !

Date Night

We were in Dallas just for the night so this was perfect for us. It was in a great neighborhood and close to where we were going for the evening. It was clean and tidy. We did not have any issues and we highly recommend!

Cute Apt, Great Part of Town!

We loved this cute apartment! :) This area of town is absolutely gorgeous. We spent time walking around the neighborhood and even walked to breakfast one morning. We were in town to go to the Texas State Fair and it was so close. We loved everything about the place and would love to go back. We've already recommended this to friends also. Highly recommend this one!

One Bedroom Apartment in Lower Greenville

Nice apartment within walking distance to Lower Greenville. Well stocked towels and tp. Coffee filters and coffee (I didn’t try coffee). Full size kitchen appliances. Quiet building, comfortable bed, clean, and lots of space. Older,quaint building. No washer/dryer.

Christmas Week

The price is reasonable for a well-loved property. The building is an 8-apartment unit but all the other guests were quiet .....even their dogs. (We were just two grandparents visiting for the Christmas week!) The futon bed is broken so that made sleeping on the sofa a bit uncomfortable. Since it was in the 30's we needed heat in the morning and evening. the bedroom heater worked but we never could use the gas fireplace. I know it looks attractive, but we would have preferred a simple electric wall heater like the bedroom. We were gone all day so coming back in the evening the apartment was cold. The location was perfect and we found Benny's Bagels on Skilman for morning breakfast. If you want to be close to the Park Cities this is a good location.

Lovely spot; mediocre accommodations

We realize that this is an older property in a changing neighborhood. While the location was perfect, the apartment was not. Here are the things that were good: Location (near a beautiful park) Ease of check-in and check-out Bed was comfortable Refrigerator and stove were spotless Here are the things that were less than satisfactory: Lack of lighting - only one tiny lamp in the bedroom, one hanging lamp in the living room and dim bulbs in the bath and kitchen Damaged/broken/missing tile on front porch made entry hazardous Parking was difficult and sometimes not available at all close to the building Strong odor of marijuana throughout the weekend We had to buy Kleenex For 4 nights, there were not enough clean towels Bathtub was very slippery There was no door on the bathroom - just on the door to the small dressing area outside the bath The rugs in the kitchen and dressing area had come off their adhesive, exposing dirty tape on hardwood Paint was peeling here and there; caulking was dirty No hangers in the closet (but those were brought to us upon request the next day) Only 3 glasses in the kitchen Old, disposable salt and pepper shakers We would recommend this area, but not this vrbo. The cons outweighed the pros. Thank you for asking.

Rustic charm but could use some updates

Host was gracious enough to work with modifying my stay. Check in was fairly self explanatory. Heating was an issue. Living room furnace did not seem to be working after following the ‘how to’ video. Bed room furnace heated the bedroom but left the bathroom and kitchen cold. Rugs were quite dirty and had come untaped from floors. Lots of floor unevenness could be a safety hazard. Also seemed to cause an issue with the stovetop cooking as the burner was on a tilt. Bathtub/shower did not drain properly so you were left showering in ankle deep water. Shower curtain didn’t reach far enough down so floors would become wet and slippery. The small bathroom rug was not enough to soak up the shower spillage so it became a slipping hazard. Very loud if you were located on the bottom floor. Anyone walking down the hall, on the stairs or upstairs was quite loud. It was only quite from about 2-5am. My main concern was the Wi-Fi connectivity. It was out or running too slow for use for about 75% of my 10 day stay. This proved very hard to use TV streaming services or connect to wifi to run my business from my phone while away from home. I contacted the host who said they would look at it but they never reached back out to say it was fixed and it never improved so I assumed they were unable to fix it. I would have been nice to hear back from them to tell me it had been fixed and to see if my problems had been resolved.

Apartment in a great location near bus service and couple bars

Very happy with apartment however had to chase up locked box access. Maybe have close line or clothes horse as you can wash clothes but nowhere to hang them. Crockery could be replaced as some where chipped. Nice to have coffee machine. Bed very comfortable

The location was great! It was very clean and tidy. One night we were comfortable enough to stay in.

It was a little nerve racking to not get access code since we were coming from out of town. We received it at check in. I was already panicking thinking that we needed to book another place, but they came through at the last minute. The space is really nice, but parking is difficult

Terrible experience

I arrived to this apartment late at night after a long travel day, and found that the apartment had never been cleaned from the previous stay. There was dirty dishes everywhere, only dirty towels in the bathroom, and the bed was unmade with dirty sheets. The hosts would not answer my phone calls, however did answer fairly quickly via texting. They informed me there was “miscommunication with the staff” and that they would refund the stay, however I was then stranded at midnight with no where to stay. The hosts were not apologetic, did not respond to my messages the next day, and made no effort to help find a new place to stay. I ended up having to check into a hotel. It was an extremely frustrating and unsafe experience. From the short time I was at the apartment, it was very noisy and I could hear every step people in the unit above took. Unit was pretty old and run down. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying at this vrbo.

Cozy apartment in great location

This property was ideal for my visit to my daughter, who lives in the nearby M streets. It is super convenient to Lower Greenville and Lakewood neighborhoods. Street parking was readily available, and I felt safe. Walls are thin - I could hear walking above and hallway voices. Thankfully, neighbors were quiet overall. Not sure I would stay here with my husband, as we prefer a king bed and larger bathroom. However, I would deifinitely stay here again when travelling alone.

Serviceable in a great location

This was a great stay in lower Greenville. We knew we wanted to be in the neighborhood because of its walkability and access to restaurants and roads to other parts of town and this stay was perfectly located. We weren’t in the apartment too much, but when we were the place was comfortable and had everything we needed. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a modestly priced rental in Lower Greenville!

Wonderful

Easy to access the property. Place was super cute and cozy. The neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet. Parking was tight with our SUV but there was always a spot. The kitchen is minimally stocked. We cooked for every meal so it was missing a few utensils we usually used but we made due. Host was a text away. Will book again when we come back to Dallas.

Great location for a short stay!

This was a great booking for a little weekend getaway. The neighborhood was very residential and felt very safe. Definitely one of the most beautiful neighborhoods I've seen. What a beautiful part of Dallas--close to great restaurants in lower Greenville, downtown, and the Dallas arboretum! Kitchen is a little sparse to cook anything significant--but works for basic things. The apartment is in a converted house--so you enter into the house to access the apt--a little noisy but things stayed pretty quiet between 10pm-8am. Was overall happy with the place.

Excellent and safe place to rent

The apartment was clean and very affordable. There wasn’t much parking, but you can easily find a place on the curb. The neighborhood is pretty safe and the property manager responds fairly quickly. Would definitely recommend!
