Cabane rustique et grand bloc de cuisine niché dans un jardin indigène.

Prairie Holm Farm est située le long des rives du lac Wairarapa et s'étend vers les chaînes accidentées de Remutaka. Nous sommes à 13 km le long de Western Lake Road depuis le canton de Featherston et à 4 km au sud de Cross Creek Road sur la Remutaka Cycle Trail.

Le logement se compose d'une cabine de deux chambres et d'un autre bâtiment rustique contenant un grand salon / cuisine décloisonné qui a un poêle à bois et une salle de bain unique en plein air attenante. Il y a des canapés-lits pliants et des matelas dans le bloc salon pour accueillir des groupes jusqu'à dix. La cuisine a tout ce que vous attendez.

Il y a deux douches et deux toilettes situées dans le bâtiment cuisine / salon

Les cabanes sont nichées parmi cinq hectares de jardin indigène régénérant, créant une retraite paisible.

Featherston offre une merveilleuse gamme de boutiques pittoresques, de cafés, d'une boulangerie, d'une fromagerie et bien sûr du célèbre Fell Engine Museum. Le samedi matin, il y a un marché de fruits et légumes très populaire avec du café frais et un boucher local sur le barbecue.

La gare de Featherston a un service ferroviaire vers Wellington et Masterton (les vélos sont les bienvenus dans les trains).

Nous sommes également à moins d'une demi-heure de route de Martinborough et de Greytown si vous préférez des boutiques, des vignobles, des cafés et des restaurants animés.

We brought 5 adults and 2 children (all with different needs) and we had a fun and comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the large grass area and garden trails which gave space and permission to romp and kick balls and explore. The old stove in the kitchen was a challenge to cook on, but everyone was too hungry to complain about the burnt sausages. Thank you for sharing your special accommodation.

Perfect Spot

Rach and Brad provide a wonderful place to stay and they are so welcoming and accommodating. We brought a group of tamariki and rangatahi and all enjoyed it immensely. Our group had the opportunity for a farm experience with Rach and Brad and loved every moment. Thanks so much - we'll be back!

Unique bush escape in the middle of farm land

Great amenities, kind owners. This is a bit like staying at a nice holiday park. One should be aware this is part of a working farm that operates 24 hours a day. We didn't hear people, but did hear machines. Lovely hosts, happy we stayed!

Lovely getaway

We loved our stay, we were kindly offered early check in and late checkout at no extra cost which was fabulous and meant that we could really make the most of a short break. The gardens are fantastic, filled with fantails and the call of ruru at night. We loved exploring and finding lots of surprises, and enjoyed a lengthy game of hide and seek! We loved the camping vibes of the separate sleeping block, and were warm and cosy with extra blankets and heaters, perfect after exploring in the rain. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed - including delicious coffee! Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful weekend!

Haven for Bikers and Trampers

The property was comfortable, spacious and had all the facilities that we needed. Over the long weekend it poured with rain but that didn't affect our ability to get out (and get wet!) and do what we had intended to do by way of tramping and biking, and that was due to the fact that we could come back to the accommodation and get dry, warm and relax. Thoroughly recommended, especially for bikers wanting to do the Rimutaka Cycle Trail.

Idyllic getaway

We loved the walks among the native bush.. listening to the birds, kicking ball on the front lawn and just lying on the grass watching the clouds... hanging out with the dog... just living life without looking at the clock.. beautiful way to live...

Quite & Comfy

This batch is wonderful for a family get away, quite, clean and comfy. Brad & Rach are amazing hosts, they allowed to bring extra guests at last minute notice and they updated the booking accordingly. We also loved the company of Dixy (owners dog). We want to go back again during summer.

Great stay at Prarie Holm

We did a work retreat at the cabins which suited perfectly. The gardens are absolutely amazing and one night we saw 6 Kereru in a tree. Really nice place. 4G cell coverage works on Vodafone but not 2degrees

Great family weekend

We had a really pleasant stay at this beautiful property over Labour Weekend. Everything was there, all worked well, great outdoor space to relax with a wonderful garden to explore for the kids. The little foxy Dixie was also a delight and a sweet natrued friend to have for a few days. Thanks for the lovely time.

Beautiful retreat

The hosts very very accommodating and good at keeping in contact. Good facilities and nice open living space, fab fire! Beds super comfy, so nice to wake up to the birds. Really lovely garden grounds and adorable dog that will keep you company with cuddles! We drove to the beach to explore...Will be back in the summer! Thanks :)
