Very relaxing house with all the amenities needed for a vacation. Very clean. Good location for visiting the Gulf Coast. Owner responds quickly to inquiries. Watching the tide rise and fall in the bayou is very relaxing and good fishing from the dock. A five-star retreat.

Bayou bliss

Great property, Clean, beautiful bayou/canal, setting with fishing, kayaks, and a deck to lounge on. Close to downtown Bay, St. Louis, Gulfport and Biloxi. Many, many great southern restaurants with Cajun food and oysters. Lots of golf courses and things to do on the beach.

Great location!

The location was close to most attractions. The house was very quiet and peaceful. There was very little traffic on the street or the canal. The house could use some maintenance on the deck.

Cottage Definately has Charm!

We really enjoyed our stay and will definately come back. The house was clean and well equipped. Very quiet neighborhood too which we loved. Host could not have been nicer or more accomodating.

This was our second summer staying at this Bay St. Louis home, and it was just as great as the first! It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The house has three comfortable bedrooms, plus a blow-up mattress which came in handy. It’s fully stocked with everything we needed kitchen supplies, towels, linens, and even fishing gear and traps!We loved the screened-in porch and large front porch great places to sit and unwind. The quiet neighborhood made it feel peaceful and private, but we were still just a few minutes from Walmart and the beach, so everything was super convenient.The private dock was a huge bonus, especially since we brought our boat. We really appreciated having easy water access and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.We’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped stay in Bay St. Louis.

Quiet, peaceful and comfortable

Spent Father's Day weekend with my parents, their dog, and 2 cousins and had more than enough room inside and outside for all of us. Our dog made friends with the neighbors' dogs and enjoyed himself as well. Good wifi, all the kitchen basics and a washer and dryer made the stay even better. There are 2 sets of stairs. The ones in the back of the house aren't as steep as those in the front so you probably want to bring luggage, grocery, etc. up the back stairs.

We enjoyed our stay visiting family nearby however we didn’t find this property a place to accommodate more than 4 or 5 people. The weather did not cooperate during our stay so fortunately we had other places to go. Was this place adequate to sleep, shower and have a quick meal before heading out I would say definitely yes. However one of the kitchen pots had residue from previous use and the ice maker was not hooked up (ice cube trays were provided)Perhaps our expectations were too high but when I see 10/10 rating I am expecting it to have had been professionally cleaned for starters and to have more updated kitchen items. Due to the intermittent rain days the road had flooded one night making it difficult to drive back through especially in the dark. I do not see where a person would entertain or comfortably sit more than 5 people especially if the weather wasn’t ideal. This property had a short drive to old town bay St. Louis and was adequate for what our adult family of three required. Overall our trip was nice and whenever we do decide to return to the area, I will consider trying a different place. Jody’s communication was very good and the check in/out information was provided and clear. A for providing laundry soap (since we only had a need for one load) and starter roll of paper towels

Perfect vacation home

Pictures don't do this place justice, such a great property with everything you can possibly need. We put our boat in the water and was able to tie it up and walk right into the house. We will be staying here again next year!

We chose this property because of the secluded location, incredible deck and screened in porch and the owners were great to sell it completely furnished, which they had made the perfect little cottage!

Unlike some of the other properties, this home is not on a canal so your view is not only of the beautiful bayou but of the marshland landscape that can't be beat! It's in a quiet neighborhood that provides the perfect setting for a relaxed retreat!
