Lit queen dans le maĂźtre, espace de rangement spacieux. RĂ©veillez-vous avec une vue de rĂȘve sur le mont juda. La chambre d'amis a un lit queen et beaucoup d'espace de rangement supplĂ©mentaire. Nous limitons l'occupation Ă  quatre adultes, mais jusqu'Ă  quatre enfants supplĂ©mentaires sont les bienvenus. Laveuse et sĂ©cheuse pratiques. Fauteuil inclinable confortable pour profiter et boire du vin aprĂšs une journĂ©e de plaisir en plein air avec un verre de vin. Le salon et la salle Ă  manger donnent sur une grande terrasse. Barbecue et profitez de la belle vue sur le mont anderson. Le pont arriĂšre descend vers une grande cour arriĂšre clĂŽturĂ©e. Super endroit pour les animaux de compagnie. Marchez jusqu'au parc du quartier et oui, il accepte les chiens. Emplacement pratique pour l'Ă©picerie, il suffit de ramasser ce dont vous avez besoin pour vos vacances parfaites. La boulangerie et les restaurants sont Ă  proximitĂ© d'un pĂątĂ© de maisons pour le petit-dĂ©jeuner, le dĂ©jeuner et le dĂźner. MĂȘme une animalerie si vous avez besoin de quelque chose pour la fidĂ©litĂ©. Si vous avez besoin d'Ă©quipement de location extĂ©rieur, c'est Ă  deux pas. En hiver, l'arrĂȘt de bus pour le transport en commun rapide dans la rĂ©gion de tahoe est juste en bas de la rue. Vous pouvez donc marcher jusqu'Ă  l'autobus et laisser la voiture Ă  la maison.

The hosts were very welcoming, and accommodating when there was an issue, jumped right on it an had it corrected in less than a day! The cabin is well situated, very clean and perfect for our family and golden retriever, we would be glad to visit again!

The house is cozy, perfect for my wife and I and our dog. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the pantry includes plenty of spices and condiments for those who like to cook. The back deck has a gas barbecue and firepit. The back yard was large enough for us to play fetch with our dog, which is his favorite pastime. One tip: the TV has a lag between when you push a button on the remote and when it responds; typically, about seven seconds. Once you get used to to it, it's fine.

We had another great stay at this cozy, clean home. It is well stocked with thoughtful touches, has comfortable beds, and a great deck and yard for dogs. Easy entry and the owner is very responsive. Location is central to everything. We just booked it again for another winter visit.

Thoughtfully appointed cabin in Truckee

Carl's cabin is clean, fully stocked with all the necessities and then some, and thoughtfully appointed with lovely touches throughout. He was highly communicative and easy going. The cabin has a large porch, a massive back yard and is an easy walk to a great (but busy) breakfast/lunch place (good coffee) and a strip of shops, including bike rentals. Truckee has amazing bike paths. The neighborhood is very quiet and the king bed in the large bedroom is some kind of cloud/marshmallow hybrid that you literally melt into. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great Home Base for Exploring the Area!

Very clean and comfortable cabin in. Central location, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for a great stay in Truckee. Nice deck and back yard with amazing view of snow-covered mountains! We didn’t have any pets, and were pleasantly surprised that the house was so clean - no pet hair to be found!

Wonderful stay in Truckee

The house is wonderful as is the yard and the deck. The house is extremely well equipped.And it was perfect for our visit. Very close to Donner Memorial State Park and downtown. Lake Tahoe is only a short drive away. We can’t recommend this rental enough. We’re looking for when we can visit next. Lisa Alan and dog Bella

Beautiful winter weekend in Truckee

Carl was amazing with information provided before our stay. Check in was quick and easy. The location of the cabin is incredible! Small residential area in Truckee walking distance to stores and our favorite cafe Wild Cherries. I can’t say enough about how comfortable and well-equipped the cabin is—you can tell the home is used and loved by the owners. I always bring so much kitchen equipment to cook but the cabin had everything I needed and more. The master bed was so dreamy. Fenced in backyard that the pups really enjoyed. Cozy living room. Perfect for two couples and our dogs. Would love to stay here again in all of the seasons!

Cute, cozy, pet friendly home

We loved our stay at this cute, cozy home. It had everything we needed and more. It’s close to everything, groceries, restaurants, ski resorts, etc. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We were especially impressed with the greeting gifts of wine, chocolates and dog treats - very nice touch. We hope to stay here again!

Best stay EVER!

Wow! What a welcoming stay. Everything from laundry soap to fresh coffee grounds provided. Upon entry, a welcome note with both adult and dog treats. The location was spot on and walking distance to everything from a grocery store to a local coffee shop to trails.

Convient rental for a ski vacation

We really enjoyed this stay in Truckee, which worked out great for a week on the slopes. The house was well stocked with supplies--toiletries and snacks! The heater in the master bedroom is on the louder side, so light sleepers who like it very warm at night might want to consider earplugs.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing time for our second stay at the cabin. The house is stocked with everything you could want for in a home away from home. The dogs had the absolute best time enjoying the yard and deck above anything else. We will definitely be back again!

Perfect 2 weeks in Truckee

We had a fantastic time at the little cabin in Truckee. The accomadations were exactly as described. Super clean and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen had every utensil you could possibly need. We did bring a keurig but a coffee pot was provided. The neighbors were quiet as were we. The cabin is perfectly located close to the grocery store and downtown Truckee. We made day trips to surrounding areas because there is so much to see. Beautiful weather and a great respite from the Texas heat. Five stars for sure.

Our Vacation with the Pups

My husband and I and our 2 dogs really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We really enjoyed the wonderful welcome gifts. There was a very large backyard which our dogs really enjoyed and you are in walking distance to Grocery stores and restaurants. Many great hiking places nearby. The cabin was well stocked with everything you needed and included a gas grill. Thanks again Carl for letting us stay at your place!

Family getaway

We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and felt comfortable here. We had a place to relax and outside to play ping pong and badminton. The barbecue grill was in great condition. We so appreciate the welcome gifts that he left; not just for us but our four-legged monster 😉 as well. I had messaged him a couple of times before our stay and he quickly responded. We’ll definitely try to stay here again next year.

Cozy dog friendly cabin

Cute and cozy cabin close to town. Walk to Safeway and many restaurants. Comfortable bed, nice big deck with BBQ and dining table. Big fenced in yard for our fur babies! Reasonably priced too. Oh and thanks for the dog treats, fog toy and lovely bottle of wine!

My Getaway w/Pups

My two small terriers and I stayed 4 nights and had a cozy, quiet, comfortable getaway. (The first 2days my husband also joined us and went on day hikes.) They loved the huge yard to explore and I especially enjoyed the sun-covered large deck with night-time decorative lighting. Great location. The living room area was rather dark but it was also cool (which was good because it was in the 80s). Carl was a super host! I highly recommend this cabin especially for dog parents! Lynn T-O

Truckee Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the rental house. Everything was clean, comfortable and very pet friendly! Our dog loved his new dog toy and we enjoyed the goodies! Communication with the owners was great. We will rent this house again the next time we visit Truckee.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

In a nut shell I gave my husband "Baachus"( not his real name), an outlandish request while he was working in the nearby Tahoe north shore area. We where goofing off on the telephone and he asked what do you want for your birthday. I replied in a goof: "buy me a house near the a lake". Before you know it he was calling up realtors and exploring North shore and Truckee. One thing lead to another and within a month we had both quit our jobs & moved to Truckee. He had bought the house "sight unseen" to me. Consequently, when I first walked in the door was laterally my first exposure to my new home. "Happy Birthday to me". thanks Bacchus your the best.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Quite cozy home with a large back yard that is dog friendly. Need a place to park your horse trailer, rv, boat, or fifth wheel, we have the room. When you wake up in the morning but don't feel like making breakfast; just stumble across the street to wild cherry's coffee shop. Feel ambitious and would like to make a big breakfast for your family, we have you covered there with a fully outfitted kitchen.
Perhaps you want to take in the sun out on your own private deck, turn on the stereo, put on your shades, and chill out in a lounge chair. Want to camp out while still sleeping inside, we have the what you need. Your kids can enjoy a tent outside while you watch them from a comfortable distance on a memory foam mattress.
Or maybe you would like to sit out on the deck and stare at the gorgeous mountains.
Additionally, we are just steps from the park. Woof-woof!
