Canary Cottage short break

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the beautiful house and huge garden, full of birds. We were a little disappointed with not being granted access until 4pm on the first day- a bit earlier would have been nice.

Canary cottage was lovely the minute you drive down the driveway. Perfectly clean, bed comfy, linen excellent quality. Kitchen well appointed & extras such as plunger coffee, twinning's tea bags & Tea 2 tea an added bonus. The wood burner in the lounge room was so warm & cozy, as well as the floor ducted air con which kept the rest of the house warm. The large, mature garden was delightful to look out on to & wander around, loved watching the bunnies come out to graze! It was also so handy to everywhere, 5 min drive into town. The only downside (which did not affect our enjoyment at all) was that the TV was uncomfortable to watch from the lounge (I did bring a cane chair in from the sunroom) We managed with one bathroom but for 6 adults this might be a juggle. my husband used the outside toilet. I also had neglected to check out the shower over the bath which my 95-yr old mum was unable to use. The water was lovely & hot, so she managed with just a wash. All in all a lovely stay & we would definitely stay again!

Great place great location

Went to a wedding at the centennial vineyards, great location to venue. Lovely house, would stay again.

Excellent property

Clean,fresh & perfectly located. We stay here last weekend with my family. Great for a family or group of friends. Big front yard for the kids the play in, gas heating which heat the large hous nicely. Bonus is had large boori cot in one of the rooms, saved us having to pack the potacot. 5min drive to the high street. Highly recommend.

Amazing accomodation

We had a fantastic stay at Canary Cottage. Great location and the property was spotless. The space was clean and homely with beautiful grounds. We couldn’t fault the property or the ease of check in. We will be back!
