Cottage Twin Oaks - Fitzroy Falls

SituĂ© sur une ferme familiale de 140 acres, le Twin Oaks Cottage orientĂ© au nord est la maison d'origine de la propriĂ©tĂ© - un chalet indĂ©pendant de 2 chambres avec une vue ensoleillĂ©e sur les pĂąturages luxuriants des Southern Highlands. Il y a une cuisine complĂšte, une table Ă  manger et un salon avec un poĂȘle Ă  gaz. Il y a une chambre principale avec un lit queen dans le salon et la deuxiĂšme chambre a un lit superposĂ© (2 lits simples) et un lit queen dans la mĂȘme piĂšce. Le gĂźte dispose de 1 salle de bain (avec douche) et WC sĂ©parĂ©s. (Un lit bĂ©bĂ©, une chaise haute et une grande baignoire bĂ©bĂ© entiĂšrement assemblĂ©s sont disponibles pour votre confort).

Twin Oaks Cottage est un hĂ©bergement dans un cadre rural idĂ©al pour les familles. Si vous voulez faire l'expĂ©rience des animaux, vous pouvez regarder les agneaux, aller chercher les Ɠufs et nourrir les poulets. Il y a une maison cubby, bac Ă  sable et balançoires pour les enfants. Promenez-vous dans les paddocks ou partez pour une balade Ă  vĂ©lo en famille dans le parc national le long des sentiers de feu. Le court de tennis fait face au paddock pour un grand match de l'aprĂšs-midi.

This was the most wonderful 3 night getaway! The host provided such thoughtful instructions/guidance about activities on the farm and surrounds. Check in and check out was seamless. The accommodation was perfectly cosy and my children had a fabulous time with the cubby, swings, trampoline and books and toys inside. We also made special memories feeding chooks and horses and collecting eggs. The kids loved seeing bunnies, cows and sheep as well! What a fabulous stay, would love to return. Highly recommend!

Twin Oaks good place to stay

The house is really nice and clean, we stayed in autumn, and it was warm and cozy. The location is out of the way very quiet farm style accommodation. Has access to wi-fi and lots of amenities on the property. We were warmly welcomed by Bentley the Labrador, he quickly made us feel at home. Would recommend staying here.

Family friendly

Our second time visiting Twin Oaks and for an obvious reason. We absolutely love it there and so do our kids. Perfect little relaxing getaway. Our daughter made friends with the chickens, horses are so friendly and so is Bentley Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful location, cozy house.

Our stay at Twin Oaks was absolutely wonderful. The house was easy to find and the photos online didn't really do justice to the peacefulness and beauty of the property. For a holiday in the Southern highlands, Twin Oaks is perfectly located: Far enough away from the main townships so you're not bothered by tourists and cars, and yet still centrally located to all the beautiful sights that Kangaroo Valley and the southern highlands in general have to offer. Sitting around an open fire under the stars, toasting marshmallows and surrounded by absolute silence, whilst still having a warm and cosy bed to climb into only meters away was the quintessential definition of a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended.

Daughters wedding our stay

Daughter was married at Mali Brae 3.5kms from accommodation. Was perfect for our family. Loved the cottage. Thoughtful fresh eggs and champagne and wood (didn’t use). Carrots also for horses but they didn’t come near us. Warm and cozy and everything we needed for a short stay.

Relaxing family getaway

This beautiful property was as advertised. Clean, tidy, well appointed and private. Check-in was so easy and we were able to take our time checking out. The resident labrador, Bentley, ended up being our guide around the property and was super friendly. We had fresh eggs from the hen house and fed the inquisitive horses carrots. The outdoor fire pit was a winner with plenty of marshmellows being toasted in the evenings while reminding ourselves of just how many stars are in the night sky. The sunrises where quite spectacular also. We will definitely be back again.

A fantastic Farm Experience

Twin Oaks Cottage was an amazing farm experience. The cottage has a beautiful charm, warmth and charisma you will love. A lovely gift of champagne, marshmallows and carrots was awaiting our arrival. Kate, Paul and the boys were very accommodating and friendly to any enquires we had. A variety of animals to see from horses, sheep, cows, chickens but the star of the stay must go to Bentley the very cute and friendly Labrador. Highly recommend this stay for a romantic getaway or family holiday. Can’t wait to come back again

Wonderful property for the whole family

Our family had a beautiful time at Twin Oaks Cottage. The house and grounds are in beautiful lush condition, and were very safe for our children (three under 9) to run around and play on. Even a very thoughtful gift basket on our arrival with marshmallows to toast on the fire, carrots to feed the horses, and a lovely bottle of sparkling wine for the grown ups! Would definitely recommend staying at Twin Oaks.

Excellent place to stay!

I stayed for two nights and used it as my ‘getting ready’ place for my wedding nearby. It was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and my daughter loved visiting all the animals (especially the super friendly chickens!) We will definitely stay again in the future.

Twin Oaks Cottage

Twin Oaks Cottage is an amazing place to stay. Very relaxing and calm environment. The Cottage is very cozy and clean. Best place to stay for a retreat. Kate and her sons are very welcoming and accomodating especially Milo ❀. We fed the horses some carrots and had some eggs from the chicken coop. They even had a welcoming basket with wine, marshmallows and carrots for the horses. They provided everything, you just need to go shopping for some groceries. The bonefire is the best part, they gave us some woods for it. We had barbie and they even had a list of places to go to. They have swings and playhouse for the kids. It’s all worth more than you pay for. Hoping to come back again next holiday.

Great Family Stay

Wonderful cottage that was cosey and warm. Cottage was clean and well presented and had no issues during our stay. Situated to close to Mali Brae Farm making it the perfect place to stay if attending a wedding. Highly recommended.

We are a family of 5 - with 3 busy sons. We love our farm and love spending time with all our animals, just wishing that 'reality' didn't drag us away during the week for our other jobs. We enjoy raising grass fed animals as ethically as possible. We have a breeding program with our cattle and horses. We breed our lambs for our enjoyment. The chickens make our day - they are hilarious and Bentley, the head of Guest Relations, will always be too happy to greet you at any time of the day or night.....

For us, we wanted flat, lush land on which to farm cattle. We have 140 acres which is just the right amount for our lifestyle. We are close to the surrounding villages, friends and wonderful water holes/bush walks. The Falls are quite spectacular.
