Points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication et emplacement.
We did not actually stay at this property because of an unknown to us booking issue. We were transferred to a property called Blue Fort. We were provided all the details about how to find it prior to arrival. Communication was very good up until check in. The property is very large, bright and comfortable. It has all the amenities of a home. The location is excellent to the castle, it’s walkable and can see it from the patio. The yard needs work and it’s getting difficult to see the castle as the shrubs and trees needed trimming. The property does not have a pool or bar as shown in the original booking.

Methoni stay
This is a well appointed holiday let with a traditional Greek interior updated to modern standards. The let No 1 we stayed in is probably the least attractive in that 2-4 have sea facing outside seating areas with fine views. Having said this we thought it fair value. The swimming pool and facilities are fine. The on site manager Marios is engaging and very positively helpful - a real plus. We would happily stay there again and recommend to others, which is the acid test of any let. The area is currently not very touristic. It has many assets which will make it so - fine beaches and access to some fine historic sites and a good choice of tavernas. Go quickly if you are going. There is a massive development at Pylos by Theasis, which along with other obvious developments will change the area quite significantly over the decade. The concern would be that such developments will kill the current inherent charm but that's modern tourism I suppose . I met a man who was looking for the 'secret beach' - no longer secret then is it.
