Thank you for your kind review, Mary, and congratulations on your wedding. Maui might be the best place to go for a honeymoon. Sorry it was so hot in the condo. This year we've had record temperatures on island that had continued through the early fall. We will see about trying to get an extra fan or two in the condo for these hotter times. We can assure you the elevators are definitely safe, and have operated without incident. We're so glad you had such a pleasant stay and appreciate you being our guest. Thank you for your feedback, Brent. We’re sorry for the issues with the pigeon droppings on the lanai and the window A/C not working as well as you would have liked. The pigeon issue has come up just recently. We have taken steps to put reflective tape, as well, we have put an owl out on the lanai to try and scare the birds off. We and our owner are working on finding a more permanent solution. In regards to the A/C, this summer has been one the hotter and humid seasons we’ve had record, and you’re stay coincided with the hottest time of the year. Usually the temperatures are not this high, and the gentle tradewinds that normally blow keep the condo cooler. We’re so sorry the unit was uncomfortable and although the AC unit is fairly new we are going to explore options for a more effective unit. Thank you for your frank comments. Mahalo.

This is the first we've heard of this being an issue at the condo. We've hung some reflective tape on the lanai as preventative measure to keep the pigeons off, and the owner's will be returning to the island soon to seek a more permanent solution. We really appreciate your kind feedback and noting the particulars regarding this property. There isn't a beach on site, but it is only about .3 miles down the road. The bugs have been up slightly this year island-wide, as it's been a little hotter than normal and this can cause an increase in pests.
