Fantastic bach with everything we could want. We were treated to stunning views and fabulous bird song every day. The jetty and mooring made boating easy. The temporary road closures for repairs were slightly restrictive, but didn’t stop us having a wonderful time.

This was our third stay, and it just keeps getting better. This place is the ultimate Kiwi bach — relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly set up for an easy, comfortable getaway. It’s always beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location is spot on, ideal for switching off and enjoying the surroundings, and the hosts are fantastic — friendly, laid-back, and great to deal with. We honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else and can’t wait to come back again.

Amazing place to stay

Me and my sisters family stayed at the property for a long weekend. The accommodation and location exceeded our expectations, the house was comfy, clean and the views were amazing. We'd love to visit again soon.

This is a beautiful spot to enjoy boating,paddle boarding, kayaking and mountain biking alongside quality family time.

Everything was great. 3 generations holidayed together, and there was great space to be together and equally enough space to be apart. Everything was there that we could wish for and the communication with the owners was clear, courteous, and very caring.We will return we hope!

Fantastic property in an amazing location. House has everything you need for a great stay. Short, but steep walk to the beach. Lots of fantastic fishing to be had. Would love to stay again.

A beautiful getaway

We loved our 3 nights in this lovely house in an amazing location. It had everything we needed to relax after our 4 days of tramping in the nelson lakes. We even caught 3 snapper!Thank you, Rosie.

Perfect spot in Keneperu

We all loved our stay at Broadford, Tara Bay. A very comfortable batch that had everything we needed. Great paddle boarding, swimming, fishing trips. We had a very happy week in a perfect spot.

Rosie was so helpful and thoughtful in the run up to our arrival, leaving us clear and easy instructions and thoughtfully filling in the gals for us. We absolutely loved our time there. What a special place! We felt so at home and couldn’t get over the view. The beach felt like our own private beach and we loved making use of the kayaks. Thanks so much Rosie!

Stayed on our way back from a wedding in Hanmer before catching ferry Absolutely stunning place to stay so nice being away from everything.Water was warm we spent lazy days fish and swimming

What an amazing view! We loved sitting on the deck and just drinking it in. We enjoyed taking the kayak and dinghy out one day, and catching fish off the jetty.Rosie was a great host and quick to respond to our questions. We were glad we took her advice and brought in everything we needed, because the road in was not an easy drive and we were happy to stay put once we arrived!

A lovely weekend away with friends

The location is perfect and the space is efficient and spacious enough for 6 adults. We had a wonderful time here. The beach is so close, the surrounding bush is so welcoming. The deck has incredible views and there is ample parking. We would be keen to stay again!
