I loved this place! Such an easy to access yet quiet and scenic location. It had everything it was supposed to and then some. I slept great in the super comfy bed. Love the balcony, the soaking tub, and the window seat with a view of lake superior. And it was a full and actual kitchen just as advertised. Teresa was super helpful with check in. I really didn’t want to leave.

We spent a few days here. It was a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the waves hitting the shore of the lake. Beautiful location!

Pleasant OVernight Stay

Clean, comfortable, easy to find, very responsive host. Wonderful setting right on Lake Superior with easy access to Grand Marais, Grand Portage, and the great north woods.

Almost perfect…

Charming, clean, perfect location, wonderful hosts. Definitely the best property of its kind where we have ever stayed. Only one caveat…if you have trouble with stairs, especially semi-spiral, you might want to rethink staying here. Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs and stairs are a bit steep and narrow with a sharp turn. Other than that, it is perfect.

Ideal North Shore spot.

First time at this property. As a couple who spend a lot of time in and around Cook County, this was a lovely surprise. Clean, quiet, right on the Lake, and virtually no traffic other than residents of Croftville Road. Thoughtfully appointed. Loved the real wood fireplace and clawfoot tub in the bedroom. A great place to return to after a couple of very long hikes. We’ll be back for sure.

Relaxing vacation

Enjoyed hearing waves on the shore especially at night. Nice clean kitchen, living area, bathroom, and bedroom. Especially loved the window seat for reading. Liked that was close to town but still felt living in nature.

A Great Place to Stay

Our 1 BR unit was very cozy and comfortable. Small deck upstairs off the bedroom was nice spot to have a drink and look at the water. Street that house is on is very quaint and pretty to drive down. Remember your password for Amazon and Netflix as those are the only "stations" you can get. I did miss not being about to get the news, but I survived. We enjoyed our stay and think you will too.

Simple and Beautiful

We were there for just one night, but it was beautiful. Quiet, everything we needed. The perfect place to just unwind. Loved the bonfire pit next to Lake Superior and they had everything we needed to cook. Quiet and relaxing. Perfect place to go and unwind.

I reccomend this property. We stayed in the inn which is very beautiful and quaint. The location is amazing, right on the water, very relaxing.

Great location on the Lake!

We loved the room we rented with the updated decor, cozy fireplaces, and heated floors. It would be more accurate to describe this as “renting a room in a bed and breakfast” because while there are totally private entrances for each cottage you can still hear each other’s noise through the shared doorways. At least in cottage #4, not sure about the noise privacy levels of the others. The hosts were wonderful and lent us a fan for some white noise, so it worked out but was unexpected.
