Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodations offered a beautiful view and cabin. However, the cleanliness was subpar, and the home theater system was inoperable. The grill was unusable due to excessive grease, and both the kitchen trash can and the oven were in an unsanitary condition. Unfortunately, no cleaning supplies were provided to address these issues.

It was very close to everything we wanted to visit. The Mountain View is awesome, we loved watching the sunrise and sunset.The driveway was a little sketchy going up and down, but we did okay with the big van we had. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

The driveway was tricky, but that’s to be expected in this area & I had read reviews that set our expectations well on that. Proximity to downtown was good. Beautiful views! Loved the big picnic tables in the kitchen to fit everyone in your group at a table.

Mountain vacation stay

Could have had better mattresses, the beds were very squeaky and was a bit uncomfortable. View was gorgeous but needs some tree trimming to better see the view.

The only down side the drive up to the cabin was a little norrow. The signs indicating proper could be better.

Great Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the fourth year that my siblings and I have stayed in Knockin On Heavens Door. We especially enjoy that all four couples have their own bedroom and bath and that the kitchen is large enough for all of us to be in there cooking, visiting, playing games, etc. Views are great. Driveway is not for sissies but if you want to view the mountains you have to go "up".

Family Get Away

We really enjoyed having 4 bedrooms with ensuites and the extra full bath downstairs. The movie room and pool table were a big hit. The view from the wrap around porch is one of the best we have ever experienced. Everything about the cabin was exactly as described. We saw bears 3 of the 4 nights during our stay. They were very curious and came right up to our cars and porch - a big highlight for all of us!

Had a blast!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time in this beautiful cabin!! We are not used to driving in the mountains and this cabin was pretty high up. Very clean amd staff very professional. They even worked on Thanksgiving Day. When I called to see of they could pick up the trash they were there in a few hours on Thanksgiving!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wi-Fi not working Remote missing for DVD player in projector room When walking barefoot feet got black on the bottom Positives- the view was incredible and the beds were comfortable

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Road going in very steep. House could have been cleaned better. Staff was very good at getting someone to fix projector TV. View from cabin was great. Hot tub jets didn't work. Just need a little TLC on cabin.
