Surf Shack

Vous ne pouvez pas vous empêcher d’imaginer tout le plaisir possible dans ce joyau d’une maison en face d’une falaise haute. Vous pouvez dîner à une table près de la cheminée ou entrer dans la salle à manger plus décontractée de la cuisine avec quatre sièges au bar du petit-déjeuner et quatre autres à la table. La salle à manger est flanquée de deux ensembles de portes coulissantes qui offrent le double d'options extérieures et beaucoup de lumière naturelle. La cuisine entièrement équipée a une cuisinière à gaz, tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour un dîner décontracté et même une sonnette de dîner fixée au mur pour appeler vos surfeurs à manger. Vous pouvez également dîner en plein air dans une jolie cour clôturée et privée avec une table et de nombreux sièges. Suivez le chemin menant au bain à remous clôturé et à la douche extérieure pour vous offrir un autre lieu de détente! À l’étage supérieur, une chambre / salle de bonus comprend une télévision / lecteur DVD et un salon, ainsi que deux lits doubles, deux lits jumeaux et un canapé-lit double futon.

La fenêtre oculus vous offre une vue exceptionnelle sur la plage, au nord de Cascade Head, et vous offre un télescope pour votre plus grand plaisir. Vous allez adorer l'intimité et la lumière occidentale du porche du deuxième étage, où vous pourrez voir et entendre les vagues et profiter de la brise de l'océan et des superbes couchers de soleil après une journée à la plage. Pour faire du surf et des promenades sur la plage à Canyons, il suffit de descendre la colline pour accéder facilement au public. Absolutely perfect property for a family and a dog. Hot tub was clean, hot, convenient, the outdoor shower was useful and warm. The house is within close proximity to the beach, and it has great access to restaraunts, stores and a drive to Newport or up to Tilamook. The house was clean, comfortable and just a really fun house to stay in. We had deer visit us 3 days and hang out in the backyard. Kids loved all the beds, extra toys and games. Thank you!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful 8 day stay here with our two dogs. The setup is perfect for a small group of friends or family. Everything was as advertised and it was nice to have fenced in yard. The beach is spectacular!

Beautiful spot!

House is cute and has a yard for dogs to play in! The hot tub is very private and was very clean. The walk home from the beach is very steep, but luckily its not too long of a walk. I would definitely recommend!

Surf shack was a nice getaway. Hot tub lid was very heavy. Pillows were a little worn. Overall the house was nice.

Nice LC stay

Well kept older house. Wonderful for a family with kids that can do steep steps to upstairs sleeping area. One bedroom downstairs for 2 adults. Very tiny bathroom. Typical beach house.

Cozy Little Place!

We had a great time! The house was very inviting and cozy with the decor and fire place it was very nice! We had 3 younger kids so having a fully fenced in yard and a hot tub was nice and we liked that it was just a short walk to the beach! The only con I would say is that the upstairs tv would not work for the kids no matter what we tried and there was no instructions to get it working. Despite that everything was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for providing us an amazing stay!:)

Beach Vacation

We generally enjoyed the property, although the upstairs was quite challenging to access as we both are 70 with some age related physical problems. We thought there was supposed to be a hair dryer at the unit but could not find one. Overall though, it was a comfortable and relaxing unit.

Cozy beach cabin

The house was very warm and cozy. The gas fireplace adds to the atmosphere. It was really nice having a fenced yard for the dog. The house could really use a deep cleaning. The kitchen and bathroom were clean but cracks and crevices not so much. The living room windows need to be replaced. They have lost their seal and were fogged up between the layers of glass making them hard to see through.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very quaint little rental. Beautiful views from the upper floor. We have never been disappointed with any rental from Meredith Beach. Short jaunt to the beach but coming back was a different story. All up hill. Was a little difficult for us old folks. LOL. We opted for driving to the beach access after that. The hot tub was divine and very private. We spent a lot of time in there. The only suggestions I would make is to add a BBQ in the private yard and remove the TV from the upper floor. It doesn't work and just adds confusion. On a side note, the rental is on a very busy road. There was traffic all hours of the night. We didn't mind but food for thought. Thanks again for another lovely stay..

Great location

Master bedroom bed hard as a rock. Literally EVERY cooking dish I pulled out was covered in crusted food. Had to rewash everything. No measuring cups. No baking sheets. cloudy drinking cups. Fireplace doesn't work. Hot tub cover is water logged & almost impossible to lift unless you are extremely strong (or 2 people). It needs to be replaced. Lots of spiders and webs. Had to vacume house upon arrival. Windows in living room cloud and need replacing. Good location.beautiful view of ocean and sits up high on hill. Quick walk to beach. Nice fenced yard. Close to great beach entrance/park. Upstairs room great for my 3 kids. They loved it. Telescope doesn't seem to work correctly though. 😕. TV upstairs nonfunctional. Has hdmi cable but no game system, no DVD player. Would highly suggest a firestick. Would have been great for kids to use upstairs area for TV and leave adults to main level. The character of home is wonderful but even with all the issues I wouldn't stay here again based on how uncomfortable bed was. Killed my back.

Surf Shack was perfect!

The Surf Shack was perfect for our family! Great views, short walk to the beach access area, and easy access to down town in such a beautiful neighborhood. Some beds were more cozy than others but a relaxing soak in the hot tub was definitely a plus!

Would have been perfect.

This is a very nice older house and location. Perfect for a small group or family. But the hot tub which we chose the house for wasn’t functioning, there were dirty clothes under the bed, and also used soap in the shower. Really wish it had been better.

Great place to stay overall. Hot tub was nice. Kitchen had everything we needed. Not sure I would have more than 4 people total. Bathroom was pretty tight to get around in. Can’t really change that though. Wish there was a Bbq.
