Great cabin

My family and I enjoyed this cabin! It was in a great location and had several amenities. Also, it was a quick beautiful drive to Helen for Oktoberfest! Would love to stay here again!

It was a lovely property at the end of the cul-d-sac. Easy access to enter the cabin. Spacious and clean, and the hot tub was on, just waiting for us!.. I would definitely stay again

Family Getaway

I ended up having to go alone with 4 kids due to my husbands injury - so being on the bottom level and not having to hike up and down the stairs with all the kids and our luggage was an extra bonus. We had everything we needed - beach and access to beach were amazingly close and beautiful. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Lovely Stay!

We had a wonder stay over this past weekend. Our daughter was married at the CeNita Winery close by. Such a relaxing spot each morning to drink coffee with the deer. Look forward to visiting again very soon!

Wonderful Stay

Exactly as described, beautiful peaceful cabin in the woods. Hot heater heater went out during stay, they were there within five minutes fixing it. A++ staff and cabin.

Beautiful cabin with meh hot tub

Hot tub is small and takes over 6 hours to heat up, but the rest of the house was great. Plenty of room, very clean, and great location.

Wedding weekend stay

My daughter and son in law's bridal party stayed at Hickory Woods for the wedding weekend festivities at Willow Creek Farm. They had a fantastic stay and Hickory Woods was a perfect spot for them to gather. Would highly recommend Hickory Woods to friends and family wanting a getaway. Thank you!

Great girls getaway

We loved the layout of the cabin and the accuracy of the listing! Everything was just as we expected! The only problem we ran into was the hot tub not working our last night but other than that it was a fantastic weekend!

Quiet and cozy!!

We had a great time and so did the kids. It was very cozy and had some beautiful details. The property did lack some cooking items and cleaning supplies, such as a broom and mop, which all other VRBO's I have stayed at have always provided, but we managed. Overall we had a great stay and would return. The one thing negative is that the floors were really dirty and we would have been happy to sweep or mop them upon our arrival.

Wonderful, Wonderful cabin

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay. Well stocked kitchen. Hot tub great. Had a small glitch with Nest thermostat but management fixed first thing the next morning. Be careful in the main and 2nd floor showers. Floor alittle slick by the drains so don't slip. Loved our vacation and may be back. Easy to get to Helen from the cabin. Thanks Tom.

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay! Having 3+ bathrooms and the bonus space downstairs was a plus for our group. Convenient location to get to Helen, Demorest & other nearby attractions. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit area! So nice and private. The teenagers also played pool a good bit! It was unseasonably hot so we had to call the managers about the thermostat that was set on heat. They responded quickly and had someone out in no time to get that changed for us. I did some light cleaning upon arrival (counter tops mainly) but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. I'd read in a previous review that the kitchen wasn't generously stocked so I was prepared for that with some of our own untensils/pans, etc. Would be a great addition to the cabin to make it readily available for easy cooking though.

Gorgeous quiet cabin

Perfect for a larger group. Comfortably slept 8 of us. Only thing I wish was nicer would have been the grill. Wanted to grill out but it wasn’t clean.

Great place for multi-families!

We rented this cabin for our stay in Helen. We had two separate families staying and it was perfect! Kids bunked together in the basement and the adults in the two room upstairs. Everyone enjoyed the woods around the cabin and it was a quick drive to any activities we wanted to do.

Our experience was extremely wonderful . The cabin was well stocked, clean, very spacious! It was great for our weekend getaway. We most definitely will revisit this one again!! I loved this cabin because it has the feel & look of how a cabin should Be presented. The only odd of renting it was the check-in time. We couldn’t check-in until 4:00p.m and check-out at 11:00. We didn’t like that, considering paying the same price for the weekend. I think check-in should be an earlier.

Beautiful mountain cabin

The cabin had plenty of room and was exactly as pictured online. It was quiet and set deep in the woods. It was nicely furnished. It is not a home that anyone lives in, so there are very few of the household items that you would typically find at a Brno. If it’s not listed as being supplied, it probably isn’t. But that being understood, just plan ahead and bring it. Still a great stay. Lots to do and places to hike within 30 minutes.
