Retraite de charme avec jardin privé et artistes près de la vie nocturne, en plein air

Jardin privé primé et suite / appartement d'artiste / retraite / appartement dans une maison de 1770 moderne / rénovée. Entrée privée, hauts plafonds, vitraux, véranda privée, moustiquaires shoji, planchers de bois franc, salle de bain haut de gamme. Lit queen de luxe + linge de maison. Il y a en fait 2 chambres avec lits queen: une en bas dans la zone principale et une "mezzanine" séparée donnant sur l'espace de vie. Remarque: il n'y a pas d'évier 'cuisine', mais nous laverons la vaisselle et les ustensiles au besoin.

Accès à tout en quelques minutes: (1) lac (2) restaurants / activités à Burlington (3) plage privée / kayaks (4) vélo / randonnée / ski. Jardin: aires de repos privées, sculptures personnalisées, étang / ruisseau de carpes koïs, labyrinthe de méditation pleine grandeur caché dans les bois, spécimens horticoles, terrasse, foyer, hamacs, sports

Espace jardin spectaculaire et privé parfois utilisé pour des concerts privés, des performances, la pratique des arts martiaux, des cours de peinture, de méditation. Le koi-pond est intéressant été comme hiver. l'observation des grenouilles, beaucoup d'oiseaux, la faune. Aires de repos en plein air avec des hamacs et un grill pour cuisiner.

La 2ème chambre est dans un loft accessible par une échelle. Nice, avec lit queen. Beaucoup de rangements, rangements, tiroirs, réfrigérateur / congélateur, micro-ondes et grille-pain, table à manger et ustensiles (assiettes, verres, vêtements argentés), chauffage et climatisation.

Beaucoup de stationnement sur place. Les sports comprennent un fer à repasser / échiquier + une table en verre à l'extérieur, des terrains de badminton et de basket-ball, des jets de cornées, un labyrinthe et 2 parcs régionaux à quelques minutes avec plages, kayak, ski de fond, etc. Plusieurs domaines de ski alpin, sentiers de randonnée, stations de montagne sont à une courte distance en voiture.

This place is such a gem! I stayed for 8 nights while working in the area, and it truly felt like coming home to a mini retreat at the end of each eork day. The property is beautifully landscaped, with charming little surprises in every nook and cranny. The indoor space had everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was gorgeous. On a few chilly mornings, I especially appreciated the bathroom heater! The host was welcoming and helpful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our first visit to Vermont, the rental was even more than we expected! Ken was the best host, the fridge was stocked full of Vermont products. I can’t brag enough about “the comforts of home.” The beautiful gardens and sculpture onsite were a testament to years of Ken’s hard work. I-89 made each day’s excursions easy-peasy.

Ken was a great host who greeted us upon our arrival, showed us the grounds which were stunning and made us feel very comfortable. The location has a beautiful state park that was a quick drive to and an amazing hike. The grounds were very relaxing and restorative.

A beautiful sanctuary

This gorgeous property was just the place we needed for a weekend of rest and relaxation. The studio layout is neat and well furnished. Everything was very clean and easy to use. We loved exploring the garden and taking in the silence of the area. Close enough to Burlington for food and entertainment. Owners are very kind and accommodating as they live onsite.
