Notre maison est situĂ©e sur la rive du magnifique port d'Aotea. Nous vivons ici lorsque les clients ne sĂ©journent pas, nous avons donc conçu la maison pour profiter au maximum de la vue et pour un maximum de plaisir. The location of the back is the best! Such an amazing place to relax, and every time I go back the owners have updated another part of the Bach. The deck is outstanding.

Thanks! We had a great stay in Aotea. The home is warm, comfy, and has great views of the harbour. It is mid-winter and we sat out on the deck plenty thanks to the infrared heater. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is great. We also loved meeting the cat, who is very relaxed and friendly, and kept my feet warm one night. We hope to come back and could have stayed much longer.

Hawkes Bay flying fish and stay

We had a great time at Aotea. The bach is in a prime spot with great views. John the owner was awesome to deal with.. he even took us on a tour of Aotea on his Can-Am which was awesome fun.

Awesome sport to relax

Thanks John, for letting us once again for allowing us to stay at your lovely home. We really enjoyed the spot. Short stroll to the water to fish and relax with some good mates. We even tried to catch flounder and mullet during low tide with the net. Beds are very comfortable, and the outdoor area is much to adore. What more can you ask for? Definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking at staying at Aotea.

Stunning location

Definitely the best deck in the whole of Aotea! Lovely location - and homely feel! Excellent toilet!! Trekking up from the downstairs bedroom made it worth it !

Perfect location..

A weekend for two in this amazing bach. Photos were true to form. The online listing was honest and thorough. Very homely vibe and we loved the artwork. Everything we needed was availble and written in their welcome folder if we needed further detail. John was a great host and was available if we needed anything. Another great weekend spent at Aotea Harbour. We will definitely be returning to this property soon. Do not pass up an amazing opportunity to stay here. Thank you John

What a spot

We had one of our best holidays at this spot. Such a great place to go, the kids had a blast. Lots of different swimming places to choose from. Gorgeous view from the deck. The owners and the neighbours were very lovely and welcoming. We will be back!

Slice of Heaven in Aotea

Very beautiful and well maintained bach with an amazing & calming view. Situated in a quiet town across the road from the water. Ensure you purchase everything you need before arriving as the nearest store is abit of a drive back up. This definitely is the best deck in Aotea. Well equiped home with everything from basic necessities to extras that we needed for our stay . Beds were very comfortable. Sound system & big screen tv was perfect for the movie nights. Now the Rain shower head , bathroom automatic night light and the bidet - WOW! Perfect touches! Enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a cocktail & book while watching the husband fish across the road. Unfortunately he didn’t catch anything but surely the fish in Aotea are now well fed from all the bait he used. Managed to recharge the mind body and soul before heading back to the rat race. We definitely wished we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend. Great place to relax and recharge ! Thank you very much John & Kirsty for sharing your slice of heaven with us.
