Nous sommes situĂ©s dans la spectaculaire station balnĂ©aire 5 Ă©toiles de Valle Escondido, Ă  8 minutes Ă  pied de la ville de Boquete, qui regorge de restaurants, de bars et de boutiques. Boquete se trouve Ă  une altitude de 1100 mĂštres dans la forĂȘt tropicale luxuriante de Panama et est appelĂ©e la vallĂ©e de l'arc-en-ciel. Les activitĂ©s locales comprennent: l'observation des oiseaux, la randonnĂ©e, la natation, la tyrolienne, l'escalade dans les rochers, les visites de cafĂ©, les sources thermales et les cascades.

Rich greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the accommodations and answered many of our questions about the neighborhood and the town. The location- a short walk into Boquete- was perfect for our needs.

Rich and Susan are the very definition of hospitality. This was our third stay at Villa YOLO — and every visit has been perfect. They anticipate your every need and then some. Sure there are other places to stay in Boquete but why would we ever want to? Villa YOLO is paradise to us and now it’s part of our tradition. Hope to see you again next time — hoping when we decide to visit again we can still get a reservation.

This is a beautiful, well-appointed apartment with wonderful views situated in a peaceful gated up-scale community. It had everything we needed. We spent a great deal of time lounging on the terrace which overlooked lush gardens and a pond with views of the mountains in the distance. Above all, the hosts, Rich and Susan, were incredible - friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely apartment in gorgeous setting

This apartment is set up with everything you can possibly need and the bed is extremely comfortable. We cooked several meals and enjoyed eating out on the balcony overlooking the beautiful valley while butterflies and hummingbirds flitted by. The hosts were so gracious that they made us feel more like houseguests staying with old friends rather than simply renters in an apartment.

We just spent 3 nights in Boquete - surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. I loved relaxing on the balcony taking in the view. Walk downhill to town and easy to get a taxi back. Very roomy, comfortable, well stocked accommodations. Hosts, Rich and Susan, went to supper with us on the first night and were a great source of local info. Rich offered transfer to/from airport which was greatly appreciated because it simplified our travel. We highly recommend staying with these very kind people at this wonderful property. Paradise indeed!

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing and fun filled time in Boquete and our stay at Villa Yolo did not disappoint! Susan and Rich, thank you for opening up your home and sharing the beauty of Valle Escondido! We truly appreciate you being gracious enough to give us a tour around town during our first night there and for the breathtaking flower arrangement you created in celebration of my birthday! The Villa was well appointed and easily accessible to town with a short 8-10 minute walk. My husband and I immensely enjoyed the private outdoor patio with its magnificent views of the property and surrounding rainforest! We could just feel the stress melt away while sitting out there! Pictures can’t do it any justice! You must come experience it for yourself!

Great vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Valle Escondido. We spend 23 days at Rich’s property. We did not have a car and walked into town and around the beautiful property everyday. Although it was the rainy season, the rain never prevented us from any outdoor activities. Sue and Rich were wonderful hosts and provided us with a lot of helpful information. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful property with the view of the mountains, clean air and natural beauty.

No Need to Look Further — YOLO is The Place to Stay!!!

My husband and I have stayed at YOLO twice. Both times Rich and Susan have anticipated our every need. The property is amazing and close to town. The first time we walked everywhere and this time we had a rent car. Both were good experiences but to be honest, we are getting older and the rent car was much better. We are already looking forward to our next visit and hoping we will be able to stay once again at YOLO.

Great stay in Valle Escondido

We spent 6 weeks in Valla LoLo. Everything thing was perfect. This was during a period of time when many Panamanians were protesting, closing roads and causing shortages of some items. While staying here we were hardly effected. We had good water, adequate propane and convenient shopping at several grocery stores. We couldn't have been in a better place.

Peaceful luxury YOLO.

We had the best VRBO stay ever with Rich. Extremely gracious host who went beyond his responsibility as a host. His helpfulness and kindness has only cemented our decision to return to Boquete full time. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed several meals at “ home, often in the terrace with an amazing view of Beautiful Boquete. The entire home was so comfortable we often stayed in and just enjoyed being there, listening to the birds and sometimes watching the golfers from the terrace. Beautiful, quiet location with a fabulous host. We could not have hoped for better.

Serene and well located

This villa stay was outstanding, and the owners put care and attention to all the details so you don't have to do without conveniences and comforts. There are cooking items, iron and ironing board, bed and bathinens including extras as needed. The shoeer had great water pressure and shampoo, onditioner, body wash already there. It is a good comfortable bed and the best part is the stunning view from the balcony. Be careful. You won't want to come back.

The hosts were incredibly helpful, attentive and informative - easily nominees for a "top hosts award". We had some car issues for example, and they were available to help in 10 minutes! Over and above!!! In the apartment, the bed was extra large and very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and big with great water pressure in the shower. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting on the covered balcony and watching the birds flit in and out of all the flowers. The Valle Escondido resort property itself is very impressive - with a golf course, tennis, mini-put, event spaces, restaurant, and even a very lovely chapel. Town is nearby enough to walk. We had a rental car and were able to park in the driveway each evening. We loved driving to explore the area - especially the coffee tour at Finca Dos Jefes. We also loved our cups of coffee and the fabulous view from Don Nery's coffee shop.

Great spot to enjoy beautiful Boquete.

Hosts were extremely accommodating with all requests and informative about the area. Located in beautiful resort community just outside of town. Great views from the delightful terrace, quiet and peaceful. We had rental car, which was desirable, but taxis widely available. Walk to town and back would have been tough for us as seniors. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy an exceptionally beautiful part of Panama. Superb weather, breezes, mild temperatures every day. Thanks to the hosts for everything!

Relaxing Boquete Retreat

Rich and Susan were exceptional and welcoming hosts! The location of the property is ideal as its a short walk to town and the many outstanding restaurants and shops. Truely lovely setting as you sit on the veranda overlooking the golf course taking in the amazing lush canyon views. The hosts extensive knowledge of the area truely enhanced a wonderful experience. We plan to return again!

Not to be missed

We spent five wonderful days in this little gem. Bed was very comfortable, kitchenette had everything we needed, phenomenal views from the terrace and hosts that couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. They are both a wealth of knowledge. If you are considering a move to Boquete, a visit to YOLO is a must. 10 out of 10!!

Paradise

Paradise really is the only way to describe Boquete and our stay with Rich & Susan. We opted to have Rich pick us up and take us back to the airport which made everything so much easier. I must say, the bed is amazing
 it was as if I was sleeping on a cloud. Rich & Susan thought of everything you might need and more. We will definitely refer friends and be back.

We are located in the spectacular 5 Star resort of Valle Escondido which is an 8 minute walk down to the town of Boquete which boasts a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. Boquete is at an elevation of 3800 ft ( 1160 meters) in the lush Panama rain forest and is called the Valley of Rainbows. Local activities include: Bird Watching, Hiking, Swimming, Zip Line, Rock Wall Climbing, Coffee Tours, Hot Springs and Waterfalls.

THE SPACE
This luxury one bedroom villa is beautifully furnished with everything to make you comfortable including a king temperpedic bed, US satellite TV, central air and heat, a private washer / dryer and a fully outfitted kitchen. You will wake to the song of a huge variety of local birds. Coffee and tea are provided to kick off your mornings.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests occupy the entire lower unit of the villa with a private exterior entrance. There is a patio overlooking the lush gardens with seating so you can enjoy the sunshine and the temperate evenings. A sweater or light jacket in the evenings and shorts and tees during the day are normal attire.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Valle Escondido (Hidden Valley) is the most exquisite spot in Boquete. The natural beauty of the rain forest and the beautifully maintained grounds are beyond description. Simply walking the extensive grounds is a delightful experience but the resort also offers: Indoor & Outdoor Pools, Gym, Tennis, Racquetball and Miniature Golf with the purchase of a day pass. A 9 hole golf course and full spa are also available.
