Charmante ferme mise à jour dans le pittoresque pittoresque Walpole NH et 8 personnes

Belle ferme de 1792 dans le village historique de la Nouvelle-Angleterre. Notre maison de Butternut Brook est idéale pour un groupe d'amis ou de famille assistant à un mariage ou à un diplôme dans la région. Vous pouvez profiter de la maison en toutes saisons. C'est fabuleux pour une super escapade pour 2 ou plus.

8 personnes dans 4 chambres privées, 2 avec salles de bain privées et 2 chambres avec salle de bain partagée. Peut accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes avec un lit aérodynamique ou un matelas futon.

Le premier étage se compose d'une cuisine bien équipée avec un porche 3 saisons et la cuisine est ouverte sur la tanière et la salle à manger. Il y a aussi un salon avec un mobilier confortable, idéal pour une intimité calme. Une demi-salle de bain et une buanderie sont également au premier étage.
Il y a une chambre queen avec salle de bain principale avec baignoire / douche au 1er étage. Il y a 3 chambres au 2ème étage. La suite principale a un lit king size et une douche à l'italienne. Il y a une petite pièce à côté du maître avec un berceau si nécessaire. Les 2 autres chambres partagent une salle de bains avec douche. Une chambre offre 2 lits jumeaux et l'autre a un lit double. Chaque chambre a des draps de luxe et offre une vue imprenable sur le champ de maïs et les montagnes.

Il y a un grand espace extérieur. Un côté de la maison a une grande cour verte ouverte. Hors de l'allée est un patio avec des sièges et des grillades. Vous pouvez entendre Butternut Brook depuis le patio.

Walpole est une belle ville avec un village verdoyant. Il y a une chocolaterie de renommée mondiale et une bonne gamme de restaurants à distance de marche. C'est une destination toute l'année.

Il y a 2 places de parking désignées. Un parking supplémentaire est disponible, veuillez nous en informer si nécessaire. Veuillez vous garer dans les 2 premières places de stationnement sur la gauche. Il y a 3 locataires dans la remise qui se garent également dans l'allée.

Karen was great to deal with. I mentioned we were going to be in the area early and she offered an early check in at no charge without being asked. Huge gorgeous farm house that had so much character. We couldn’t believe how big this place was! Very nicely furnished and homey. The living room fit all of us very comfortably and it had a really nice big screen TV. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a large meal. There was so much room in the multiple sitting rooms downstairs. The bedrooms were very comfortable and nice bathrooms. Such a beautiful country setting. Very quiet road. Walpole is really nice. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! You won’t regret staying there!!

Great location. Had everything we needed. Great place to gather family and friends. Great place to view the stars over the Connecticut River. Don’t forget visit the small shops in the area. Had a great conversation with the owner when we arrived.

Great birthday celebration

This was the perfect home for our big birthday new years celebration. Everything was perfect, we cooked up a great celebration in this warm comfortable property. Karen the host even sent us home made cookies. The home was huge and so warm and comfortable. We hope to come again.

Charming and comfortable

Jon and Karen are great hosts and our stay at their house was perfect. There were 8 of us. All family and the house accommodated our every need. Beautifully furnished, lots of comfy relaxing places to sit and converse. A very well stocked kitchen, we would go there agai and highly recommend it. , we felt right at home.

Beautiful, well kept "home". Bedding and towels all first class. Didn't need anything. Right down to plenty of filled ice trays. This place is perfect if you like an historical New England, staying at the rich relatives, kinda feel. Thanks Karen and Jon.

Just lovely

This home was so charming. The decor is a real collection of Americana. It is just beautiful with treasures everywhere you look. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are well appointed and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and easy to navigate. Our group of four women thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It felt like you were staying at a family member’s house without having to deal with the family. Ha.

Perfect country escape

Our family of four loved our stay at this historic home! There is lots of room for lounging and spreading out. We loved its proximity to Walpole (such a pretty town)—an easy walk from the house. The owners provided things like dish soap and foil, etc, making it very easy to move in and feel at home without having to buy lots of supplies (as one must at many vacation rentals). The owners were also very responsive when a storm caused a brief power failure. The many bird feeders around the house were much appreciated by this bird-loving family! Would definitely stay at this lovely home again. Thank you!

Large home, property. Nice location

We were there for 4-5 nights for a graduation. The home allowed for 8 of us to have a comfortable base. The allocation of rooms and beds was ideal. There are several sitting rooms, allowing people to spread out. Walpole has a small, but very upscale market, there's a larger supermarket about 5 minutes north. There's a high end restaurant in Walpole and another very nice farm to table restaurant 5 minutes away (called Hungry Diner). We dined at both and had great meals and service. The hosts are frequently on-site and there's another long term rental, so you don't have it all to yourself. The main road is close enough that you can hear some traffic noise through open windows, but far enough away that it isn't onerous. Same was true for a train whistle that could be heard from the other side of the river. It's a peaceful place and our family took walks on the River Road, played games and threw some frisbee in the large grass yard. It was great place to stay and the hosts are both gracious and attentive. Would definitely return.

Wonderful house for gathering as a small family - to sit or explore

We had a small family gathering at the house which served as a home-base for re-exploring and reconnecting with an area we grew up enjoying. The location is fantastic for reaching each area of New Hampshire and Vermont. Access to the highway is very close and the proximity to the surrounding towns and villages means you can have your getaway away and still enjoy what each has to offer. The house itself is wonderful for a family or group who wants to be together but needs to spread out or have some space to themselves for a bit of each day. The rooms are comfortable, well-proportioned and spaced for everyone to feel they have their own oasis within the house. We found multiple areas that were comfortable for reading away half the day. Communication with Karen and Jon was excellent. We also appreciated meeting Karen, who happen to be in the area, and who was very sweet. For us and our situation, the house was a perfect fit. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated our time at the house and would rent again next time we come back to the area.

Excellent Property

We had a great wedding weekend thanks to this property. The building had so many rooms which made getting hair and makeup done so easy! It was great to have the bridal party all together in one space. Also, it was so easy to check in and out and parking was a breeze! Great to be so close to Alyson's Orchard.

Beautiful, comfortable country home

Our extended family had a perfectly comfortable stay in this lovely home! Comfortable beds and linens, plenty of space for everyone to spread out and so close to pretty Walpole. It was our second stay at this house, and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely charming

We stayed 3 nights for a graduation. Their lovely restored farmhouse was hard to leave. Could spend a season there. Clean and so comfortable. Spacious but loved gathering in one room each night. Hope to come through again.

We received Tripadvisors Travelers Choice Award in 2014 and 2019 for the Green Turtle. This award is given to the top 25 bed and breakfasts for that year in the United States.
