The Old Alth Farm est une ferme vieille de plus de 100 ans dans le comté de Potter. Restez avec nous et détendez-vous sur le porche tout en écoutant le flux s'écouler, ou allumez un feu dans le pavillon et savourez un repas et des smores avec votre famille et vos amis. The Alth Farmhouse is a charming old property and a relaxing and quiet place to stay. We loved feeding Penny, the mule. We truly enjoyed our time there.

Our stay at Old Alth Farm was nothing short of serene. Even the rainy weather couldn’t dampen our spirits, as there was still so much to enjoy at or around the house. We fell in love with the Pavilion from our very first trip there. One of our favorite moments was watching a lone deer gracefully prance down the gravel road from the kitchen window, followed by the unforgettable sight of a mama bear and her cubs crossing the road. It was peaceful, magical, and a stay we’ll always remember.

Fourth stay at the farm house, the house and property were just as great as other years.We got penny apples and carrots, enjoyed the stars, saw the local stuff and ate local food.Can’t wait for next year.

This is a classic old farm house, set on a gorgeous piece of property. We were seeking peace and tranquility, and we found it here.

Remote, quiet, secluded getaway

We loved the house and setting. Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Great outdoor fire pit and pavillion. Great place to view stars. Don't miss excellent nearby Lumber Museum.

Weekend in Coudersport

Clean, spacious and tranquil farmhouse property with all the amenities that you’ll need. We checked out Kinzua, Austin Dam and Cherry Springs during our stay. There’s also a great diner close by (Fezz’s) and a golf course down the road too.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this comfortable farmhouse in Coudersport. Our multi generational family enjoyed having a house to cook and sleep in while we spent time at our neices wedding. and sleep in

The Old Althe Farm was lovely. Very clean and updated bathrooms which were nice. The beds slept like home. My husband brought his telescope and the property was perfect for viewing. God blessed us with good weather in the daytime and night for telescope. Ben the host was great and quickly communicated with us when we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful scenery and peaceful. The beds were comfortable. Roads are narrow, gravel and windy. Weather was beautiful but lots of bees so we couldnt sit outside.

Everything was great. The host was very helpful and friendly .penny the mule was cute stayed up in the field most of the time. We had a great stay. Thank you. There is a mini golf and ice cream place just a few miles down the road we enjoyed that also.

A Peaceful time capsule

Reminded me of my grandparents home from 30 years ago in all the good ways. If you appreciate the stillness and silence of nature at night, a night sky so clear you can pick out each major constellation and their nebula. Then this is the place for you. I’ll definitely be planning another trip here in the future ✌

Potter County

The house was a great location. Easy access to stores and restaurants. It was enough room for 10 people. We had enough amenities- towels pillows and bedding, and kitchen utensils. The only thing we needed was a gas grill for cooking hamburgers and hotdogs but we used the charcoal grill that was available.

Great weekend in God’s country

We all enjoyed your stay. We have been going to potter county every fall during hunting season for very many years. We stayed at the Auth farm before it was a VRBO. The house is clean and comfortable it is like a step back in time but with all the convenience of today. There in nothing better than sharing a warm fire in the pavilion with friends. Thank you to our host Ben, and the Jacksons.

Stargazing

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful old farmhouse decorated from another era. Bathrooms are updated and the kitchen had all the conveniences, but otherwise it was like stepping back in time. The property is perfect for star gazing, no need to trek to the park, just pull out one of their outside blankets and lay on the lawn!

Second time at the farm house

Second time staying here, was every bit as pleasant as the first time. We got to feed Penny some carrots and apples this time (we fell through last time). Stars were fantastic, house was cozy, we planned our own events better than last time. Kitchen is well equipped, living room with the tv was warm and toasty. We also had the opportunity to be serenaded by cattle’s having their morning run arounds first thing in the morning, which was new and very nice!

Third Year Staying

Everything was great, as always. Dark skies, weather was crisp, house was warm… beds comfy and clean, kitchen was equipped with cookware and appliances. Penny was a delight, she made some happy mule noises at us because we brought her apples and carrots. The only thing missing was that there was no cattle in the pasture across the road this year. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent home and property!

The house and property was amazing! The view from the porch was stunning. We enjoyed the porch swing. The Wi-Fi worked great and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, oil, etc. Penny the mule was adorable! We enjoyed feeding her carrots and watching her in the pasture. We met the owner a couple of times and he even brought wood chips and lighter fluid for us to use to start our fire. Highly recommend this place! We would definitely book again if ever returning to the area.
