If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'd be hard-pressed to do better than this. The house is totally secluded from any neighbors, blissfully quiet and has a fantastic view. Deborah, the owner was fantastic. Super responsive. As indicated in the listing, North Eleuthera does get power outages from the storms - we had more than a few while we were there - but the whole home generator worked beautifully - after Deborah told us how to turn it on, it automatically went on when the power went out and shut off when regular power was restored. Without the generator it would have been frustrating but we had no issues on that front. Deborah was super easy to get a hold of and quick to respond.The view is amazing and the house was very spacious and comfortable with fast, reliable internet. We were there in off-season so not a ton of restaurant options but there were a few good ones, and both grocery and liquor stores within a 10 minute drive.The only things the house needed were a little TLC which Deborah was coming down in November to take care of, and the entry into the water is a little spotty as it's very steep and the ladder rope broke. I know Deborah planned to fix that too. If you're older or less agile, probably safer to head to the many nearby public beaches that are mostly deserted making them feel private.Overall would definitely recommend.
