Everything was so smooth & the property is absolutely amazing, love the style of the home with very nice upgrades while also keeping the cool vibes of the original home. Amazing deck, lake access, fire pit, bbq/smoker, deer, foxes and they even have corn to feed the deer & they (including some huge bucks & babies) came and fed very closely. Bed was super comfy, had genuinely everything you could think of needing or forgetting, they had spices, all utensils/cookware dishes, keurig & drip coffee along w many flavored creamers & lots of condiments! Also board games! Fishing poles 7 & even a tube! Would absolutely come back- was just fiance and I but it sleeps a LOT- 1 king, 1 queen (w deck) & a room w 2 double size mattress bunk beds and omg the view!!!! Giant windows! With great blinds.! We will absolutely be back! Great spot on lake too as far as a cove, can swim right there the only bummer was it was a hike back up those stairs but that really is not the owner's fault! they were so accommodating & I have nothing negative to say at all! Safe, quiet neighborhood! Thanks for providing such a beautiful home for a wonderful unforgettable vacation!

Deer Lake Haus

Comfortable house with good lake access. The local deer herd was a big hit. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Cob webs needed to be removed from around both entrances. We will stay there again.

Ernest, due to the lighting that is on the porches it is impossible to keep the cob webs under control. My husband and I clean this twice a month and within days they are back. I am sorry this bothered you.

Spectacular Adventure

Our week stay at Lake Haus was indeed spectacular with stunning sunsets ever single evening. We enjoyed feeding the visiting deer herd. Seeing and feeding fox, raccoons and squirrels were an added treat. Our accommodations were spotless and all provided by our thoughtful and gracious hosts. We will return to Lake Haus next October!

Relaxation with beautiful view.

Very clean and comfortable. View is fantastic. Especially enjoy interaction with numerous deer who expect to be fed daily! You feel away from noise and distractions, but are within five minutes of anything you might need. Close to major routes to San Antonio and New Braunfels for short day trips and then returning to peace and quiet of lake living. Third delightful trip to to this property.

Great property for a medium to large group

The location was fantastic, there is direct lake access and the views from the porch are fantastic. The house is high and it's nice and open so you can clearly see the lake from inside the house and outside on the patio. The water level is super low right now, so there's not really an easy place to get in the water from the property but you can easily get to the water to hang out. There are a couple of places you can visit the lake within 15 minutes for swimming and relaxing. The animals are definitely part of the package. The deer will hang with you most of the trip. It's awesome that deer feed is supplied to interact with them. Everything was a breeze with the host and I will definitely book again if I'm making my way back to Canyon Lake.

Thank you for your review Jose. We are replacing the shower curtains and will purchase a new remote. As I mentioned to you, our beach towels have been stolen multiple times so we will remove that option for our guests. As for the cobwebs and bugs on the porches we have monthly pest control but unfortunately we are in the country and we are unable to keep the cobwebs under control. We do sweep them weekly, however Again being in the woods it’s impossible to keep the bugs and leaves off the porch. Thank you.
