The host was wonderful she was quick in her responses to my comments and very accommodating. The location was great surrounding by the majestic oak trees in Oak Harbor. The house was as described. The bathroom was a little tight for using a smaller wheelchair, but with help it worked.

Oak Harbor Beauty

House was lovely, and spacious. It was spotless and our hostess had provided many amenities. The outside was not as tidy
guess the trees were dropping some leaves etc. We had a problem with no heat (a new thermostat) when we arrived but our hostess was right on top of the problem and had it fixed. We definitely will return!

Clean and comfortable

Had a great 2 night stay for my daughter's birthday. The place is clean and the kitchen uncommonly well-stocked. Would definitely stay there again. The neighborhood is super cool with lots of mature oaks that you don't ordinarily see in force in Washington.

This was a well appointed home. Everything you could possibly want was there..the kitchen had all the gear you have at home, there were day pals, umbrellas, computer, local guide books, laundry and on and on. Lovely owner who bent over backwards to make the stay lovely.

Peaceful cottage at the sea!

I can't recommend this cottage highly enough! It was peaceful, thirty seconds from the sea, walking distance to good food and parks. The owner was very helpful and kind. Great place to stay!

Cozy home

Geri was such a wonderful hostess, she met us at the property and gave an excellent tour of the house. She was readily available for anything we needed during our stay. The home is cozy and comfortable! Her kitchen was incredibly well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook delicious meals from scratch. We had such a lovely stay and will definitely return for our next visit!

Perfect setup for us

This home was exactly what we needed for our stay in Oak Harbor. Plenty of comfy seating in the living room and expandable seating at the dining table for 4 adults. It was a very well-equipped kitchen. Geri turned on the electric blanket on the bed before our arrival. We will stay here again the next time we're in town.

Owners have lived on Whidbey Island for over 51 years & feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to live & work here. We are surrounded by beauty and our most common phrase is "Are we lucky, or what?"
We take great pride in providing a clean & comfortable place for people to relax & unwind. There has been careful consideration in the provisions of comfort, from the luxury mattresses to the well equipped kitchen, & all the benefits of home. Being only a few minutes away also provides a quick reply should anyone have a need for something we may have overlooked. Our goal is to make our guests have a comfortable, relaxing, & enjoyable stay.

This is one of several properties we have purchased over the years. The main consideration of this particular property was because of the location which is so convenient to all the downtown festivities & amenities. Besides the "cottage cuteness" it is only a couple of blocks to the beginning of our city walking trails, the marina, college, library, beach walking, as well as the local restaurants & shopping.

We chose this home not only because it is a home we would enjoy retiring in but because when we do, we will be within walking distance to our downtown area.
