This charming, pet-friendly bungalow is in a convenient location close to the 10 freeway and the Expo line. The host was obliging and accommodating. I appreciated the driveway parking. The bathroom had a nice shower. The decor wasn’t fancy but I was able to find everything I needed.

Conveniently located on a quiet street. House itself needs some TLC (to say nothing of some additional furniture and kitchen amenities) but bed was comfortable and the shower had a steady flow of hot water. We weren't looking for much more but were surprised that that's as much as we got. Communication with the host was spotty including receiving arrival/entry instructions, but all came through in the end.

Santa Monica retreat

The house was just what we were looking for on our college campus tours around LA. Centrally located near the pier we enjoyed Venice Beach the Hollywood sign and the local eateries. It was big enough for our family of 5, I communicated with the owner when our flight landed and he let us come a little early when housekeeping was complete.

Great experience.

Overall a very good experience. Only complaint is that I enjoy cooking and there was not a frying pan large enough to grill steaks or cook 4 eggs.

Great Experience

Weekend get away for small family

We booked this home for a January weekend get away from Colorado to warmer weather in Santa Monica to visit friends living in Sawtelle. The host, Ron, was super helpful, flexible, and responsive. The home was perfect for our needs with the two bedroom, one bath layout. The beds are very comfortable and the common areas are great for hanging out and catching up with friends. This property is well situated for taking advantage of beach, shopping and fantastic restaurants nearby. We highly recommend and will look to book future vacations here.

Excellent Experience!

The location is perfect and the home is clean and welcoming! The owner- Ron- communicated in a quick manner and answered every question we had. He even let us check in early and waived the fee since we had no rental car and all of our luggage in tow-i definitely recommend Ron and this awesome vacation spot to stay! â€ïžđŸ˜„

Great place for a group!

10 of us decided to stay here for a quick weekend trip Santa Monica/LA. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels to accommodate us. Neighborhood was nice, quiet, and close to the beach. If you’re staying here with 10 people I’d highly recommend bringing an air mattress or two, just because the futons aren’t the biggest. Having one bathroom was tough, but it was what we signed up for, and we made it work!

Our stay in Sawtelle

We found the property to meet our needs overall. It was very pet friendly. As pet owners we tend to eat in most nights. We found the kitchen supplies somewhat lacking. A greater verity of glassware would have been nice and a larger selection of cookware. These are not show stoppers. The location is good and stores were close by. It was a nice neighborhood to walk our dog. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. Ron was attentive to our needs.
