Pizza oven was full of mold so was not able to use the groceries we brought as intended. The kitchen utensils need replacing as the wood spoons are quite worn, there was one tiny spaula that looked like it had been in a garbage disposal as all chipped up. The cheese cutter was broken and cooking pots and pans are worn. The meat thermometer needs a battery as it didn't read the correct temperature and.we couldn't find any tongs. The couch was not comfortable at all, especially if you are physically challenged as sit low. It is also very deep, hard to get out of and we had to unscrew the ottoman so you could use the full couch. The main floor shower wasn't usable as it was very slow to drain and would overflow as a very shallow edge so our guest had to towel up and go upstairs. The host did offer to have the housekeeper come and see if the trap was full but this should have been dealt with before we arrived and noted when shower was last cleaned. The decor was cute and Christmas themed. Better rugs needed at the back and front doors (inside and out) as it was hard to keep the water and pine needles from being tracked in (rained the whole time).

The hot tub was so lovely. Nice to have a little electric fireplace in the bedroom. Everything was very comfortable.

Did not use the hot tub. House was relatively clean. Found toys under the bed. Would’ve been real nice to have a roll of paper towels. Dishwasher was not fastened to the cabinets. Some of the pans were not scrubbed. Found food residue in them. The beds were comfortable. It rained during our stay so using the patio was not an option. There was no propane available for the pizza oven or the bbq. I brought pizza ingredients because the description of the house touted a pizza oven. We arrived after 6 pm so running to the store for propane was not an option. When we arrived the thermostats were at 80 degrees, too warm! We enjoyed our stay, these were the few things we noticed and might help to make the next renter’s stay a little nicer.

Everything was clean, the place was adorable, close to the river, and not too far from Leavenworth. We had a few questions and the owner was always quick to respond. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful Home With All You Could Need!

This was our second time staying, as we love this property so much. There are many little touches that make this a great stay - the yard games, the heated floors in the bathroom, marshmellow station for smores, a well stocked kitchen, and extremely comfortable furniture. Dana is excellent at communicating and accomadating. We will definitely return.

This property was AMAZING! The owners thought of everything, including the snore maker for when the burn ban was in effect! There were so many cozy spots to relax outside and in and everything was very clean! We loved the tiny little details like the bird feeders to watch birds and the fairy garden with tons of cute little scenes! We loved the hot tub and the pizza oven too! It was a wonderful place for our family weekend in Leavenworth.

Great family get a way

Great place to escape and enjoy the peace and quiet. They have a little playground not far from the house. The backyard is very serene and quiet. Would recommend to bring if you enjoy the outdoors

Charming Cabin!

My husband & I, along with another couple went to Leavenworth to experience the Christmas lights. The lights were beautiful and the cabin was so festive & charming
.all decked out for Christmas!!! The kitchen was very well appointed, beds were comfortable & the setting was away from the hustle & bustle of town. It worked perfect for our winter escape!

Heartfelt Holiday Hideaway

This was the most amazing property to celebrate the holidays with my family from out of town! The home itself was spacious for five adults, yet still very cozy. The huge couch is perfect for watching sports or movie night. The kitchen is stocked well enough to make Thanksgiving dinner. The hot tub is very relaxing at night with the twinkling lights. My dad went crazy for the wood burning stove. Plus, the whole place was decked out to the max with Christmas Decorations! On top of the amenities, the house was incredibly clean and tidy. Everything worked well and we didn’t have any issues. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location is about 2.5 hours from Seattle and 30 minutes from Leavenworth. We also enjoyed a walk in the State Park about 15 minutes away. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to spend some quality family time outside the city.

Nice place...about 30 minute drive from Leavenworth

The house is in a quiet neighborhood and was as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and streaming services provided. The only issue was that someone apparently unloaded an unwashed load of dishes, so we kept pulling very dirty, used dishes and cups from the cabinets.

Super relaxing cabin stay

This cabin had everything we needed! There was a well stocked kitchen and great decor throughout.We loved sitting on the deck and walking to the beautiful river for a relaxing afternoon. We highly recommend a stay here!

A little nugget of heaven!

Wow, this place is so peaceful! The cabin was so comfortable with every amenity provided for. I loved how quiet it is in the area -- the sounds of crickets at night, sounds of the river, sound of the wind blowing in the trees. We loved playing in the river and swimming in the river in Leavenworth. I love this cabin so much and cannot wait to return!

We are long time Washington residents. We love to travel and visit places near and far. We fell in love with the Leavenworth area and especially the Ponderosa Community. We are looking forward to making many memories there with our children, grand children, family and friends.

After looking for a vacation home for over a year we found this wonderful property. The owner's built this home for their family in 1989 and you can feel the love and warmth that they poured into it from the moment you walk in. We were instantly drawn to it.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The home has a open floor plan. Your whole family can gather in the dining area or sit in the big comfy sectional. It is a wonderful place to reconnect with extended family or just cozy up for a couples retreat. The backyard faces the Wenatchee River. You can roast marshmallows around the fireplace and listen to calming sounds of the Wenatchee River. There is ample seating on the deck and around the fire pit.
