THE VIEW, Onetangi: Côte et campagne Waiheke

Cette magnifique propriété de style plage est de plain-pied et se trouve sur le côté nord de l'île, très désirable, avec des vues spectaculaires sur la baie d'Onetangi, connue pour sa baignade en toute sécurité, sa planche à pagaie ou son kayak.

Il y a 2 chambres dans la maison principale et un grand studio accessible de l'extérieur avec lit queen et lits jumeaux et une salle de bain complète supplémentaire.

Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la chambre principale et le studio offrent une vue magnifique sur la mer. Il y a une cuisine et une salle de bain entièrement modernes. La terrasse baignée de soleil est l'endroit idéal pour profiter de la vue ininterrompue et la vaste zone de pelouse arrière est parfaite pour le plaisir en famille.

Idéalement situé pour descendre à la plage d'Onetangi et aux cafés et bars et a le vignoble et le restaurant Casito Miro en tant que voisin avec Obsidian Vineyard à quelques pas. Il y a de superbes promenades côtières et viticoles à partir de notre porte et un accès facile à la promenade du vignoble qui relie Casito Miro, Obsidian. Tantale, Te Motu, Stoney Ridge et Wild sur Waiheke sans avoir besoin d'une voiture. Cette propriété est une base idéale pour explorer l'île.
Veuillez noter qu'il y a des marches et un chemin menant à la maison

Veuillez également noter que l'établissement est situé au sommet d'une allée escarpée, qui dispose de beaucoup d'espace pour faire demi-tour. L'allée est scellée et les véhicules 4x4 SUV n'ont aucun problème. Certaines berlines ont un peu de mal à descendre la route en raison du virage serré sur SeaView Road, les conducteurs doivent donc faire attention à tout moment.

Really nice spot

Very nice property with great view of Onetangi. Check in was easy and place was very clean. Would highly recommend to 3 couples or a group of 5 max friends.

Penny and team were responsive and easy to communicate with. The home is well set ip and the views are fantastic. The separate "artist" building was comfortable. The walk to beach and restaurant is about 20 minutes and a lovely trek. Would stay again!

The property (and weather) was perfect for our short break. Everything is within walking distance, from the cafes on the beach to the wineries in the area so once you park your car you don’t need to drive anywhere.

The best break in NZ: the view, the ambience, the care!

My sister and I had a spectacular weekend at Penny’s house. We arrived to a warm and delightful house well set up for us. Recommendations for where to eat and visit were perfect but nothing beat sitting on the deck overlooking the sea with glasses of wine. Wonderful experience!

WHAT A VIEW!

This property was honestly incredible, the views were second to none. Just you and the big wide blue. They had a thoughtful touch of a local wine on the table ready to go, as well as lots of recommendations on what to do around the island. The house was so beautiful and it was super handy having a washing machine too! Would highly recommend to anyone thinking to stay. ❤️

Stunning view

Love our stay. The view is just amazing from the house, we even saw dolphins playing from the deck. The driveway is a bit tricky but not enough to put you off staying. Lovely welcome gift. Also the beds and bedding were super lush. Would definitely stay again.

Not for winter

Nice house - but not made for a winter stay. We were unlucky with some inclement weather during our 4 night stay. The house very quickly becomes damp, it’s very draughty, the windows rattle and bang with the wind on them and the house as well as the outbuilding heat very badly. I am sure it’s lovely in summer, but avoid in winter.

Loved it!!

Very user-friendly property, all amenities provided. Stunning sea views create the perfect holiday atmosphere. A note of caution: the steep driveway is really for confident drivers (but that's Waiheke for you!) and the access to the house could be a challenge for elderly/less mobile guests, which we had. Would absolutely recommend- we loved it.

Frivolous Family Fun

It met our expectations and provided great accommodation for 8 of us. We thoroughly made the most of our short stay on the island and ‘The View’ was a very welcoming place to return to. Would certainly recommend this property.

Wonderful experience staying at the property. As mentioned online, very steep drive way but we were fine with it. One thing I would like to mention is hot water in shower. We were 2 families (8 people in total) and it was winter times so we all didn’t get sufficient hot water for showers. It went cold after 4 people took shower and rest had to take shower in cold water. another hot water cylinder would have make difference. Saying all that we will book property for another holidays in future without a doubt.

This property was perfect for a ladies weekend away. All the beds were comfortable with nice linen. Was lovely to sit on the grass in the sun and stare at the view.

Winter escape

We had a great time at penny’s place, loved the styling of the property, absolutely everything was thought of.. Bedding was warm and toasty. Outside area was perfect for a drink in the sun... Thanks for having us, we loved our time here.

Wonderful

Ticked all the boxes - amazing view, comfortable, everything you need. Just a note, as stated by hosts, the driveway is steep and pathway to bach. Wouldn’t recommend for those with poor mobility. Hope to return one day! Thank you to Penny and Severine.
