I thought the photos undersold the accommodation. It was bigger, had more facilities and was finished to a very high standard. We didnt see the host apart from when we arrived but they responded to messages immediately. We had a lovely warm stay for a family weddingThanksLiz

This is a fabulous steading conversion, situated close to Pitlochry. As another guest stated, this property is even better in person!The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. The view from the living room is the highlight of this property and I enjoyed my morning coffee taking in the views and watching the wildlife. There is also a lovely patio spot outside.Each bedroom, has its own bathroom, which is a bonus. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night - apart from the odd rustle from the wildlife outside.We really appreciated the guest supplies that were waiting for us - eggs, bacon, milk, jams, fresh bread, biscuits etc. A very nice touch, especially for any guests who might not have had time to stop off en route to get supplies.Communication with Stewart was great and we will definitely keep this property in mind for any return trips.

Great holiday home in an amazing place. Red squirrels, hares, pheasants and red legged partridges in the garden kept us all on watch and beautiful starry night skies. The property was amazing and very spacious.

Perfect stay !

We had a brillant time here. The location is great, nature is all around, it’s very peaceful. The cottage is very cosy, very well refurbished. Stewart and Liz have been very kind, they provided us with milk, cereals, eggs, bacon ... for our first breakfast (we really appreciated the gesture), they made sure everything was alright for us, excellent hosts, thank you !

Well worth a visit

Our family of five had a very enjoyable stay in a part of Scotland where the scenery is just gorgeous. The accommodation was equally impressive and provided ample space for us all during our stay. To add to the comfort we all really appreciated our welcome pack of goodies, thanks to Stewart and Liz. We would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Great short stay break

Could not fault the accomodation. Nice touch with bread, eggs,bacon supplied. Very clean, well fitted out and in a fabulous location. Comfy beds and good sized rooms. Lots of wildlife on the doorstep and lovely patio area to enjoy . Unfortunately the weather stopped us doing that! Definitely recommend

Stunning location, great and very comfortable facilities

The self-contained house has three very comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. It is thoughtfully and stylishly furnished throughout and the kitchen is well equipped. The living room offers great views and is good for watching the abundant local wildlife. The local area, just outside the Cairngorms national park, has much to offer. The host was very welcoming and communication was clear and easy.
