We loved this place. Remote/secluded. Sometimes a listing will look that way in the pics, but there's actually multiple other houses right by it. Not this one! We actually felt alone. No TV, which was just what we wanted. Just beautiful sunsets followed by a roaring stove. Would recommend!

We expected the cabin to blow over in the wind. The exterior of the cabin had major termite and dry rot. The deck outside the kitchen has dangerous damage, it looked like someone had stepped on rotten area and fell through. No TV , no air-conditioning. We didn't stay, we felt too uncomfortable .

We are sorry the cabin did not feel like the right fit for your stay. The home is a long-standing, well-maintained double-wall cabin with a roof replaced within the past two years. While a deck board with localized wear was identified and replaced before this review was posted, we take safety seriously and continue to monitor and maintain the property. The cabin’s amenities are accurately listed and do not include air conditioning or a television. Its coastal setting generally provides a naturally mild climate, and guests can enjoy fast Wi-Fi, books, and games during their stay. We appreciate the feedback and will review the listing to ensure these amenities are especially clear for future guests.

This was our third time staying at Moonview Ranch. Rain or shine it is perfect for a relaxing weekend. The property is beautiful and the cabin so quaint. We absolutely love the wood burning fireplace. We will be back!

We absolutely love staying at Moonview Ranch. The weather was perfect while we were there. The kitchen is always well stocked with dishes and spices. The bed has the softest sheets and is so cozy. This trip we finally used the chairs out on the grass and enjoyed the sunshine while reading and chatting. The ticks are out in full force right now so if you are bringing a furry friend, you will want to check them over. Thank you again for a memory filled weekend.

Perfect stay for annual cheese festival

Great location! Somewhat remote, which was exactly what we wanted, but not too difficult to get to. Super quiet and perfect place to relax. Great communication with Sharon.

Great Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Visited Bodega Bay, enjoyed the sunsets and our fur baby had as much fun as we did. Warm fireplace mornings and cozy nights!

If you love wildlife, this is your place. Peaceful and great location. Close to town but totally out in the country. I hope it is available next year when I want to visit.

Great getaway!

My wife and I along with our pup Maggie really enjoyed the tranquil setting of the property. Maggie was able to roam around and explore her surroundings, and be a country dog for a few days. It was a great place to hunker down and escape the rat race for a bit. It was hard to leave but we hope to be back one day!

Hidden Gem

This small cozy cabin is just what we were looking for. If you are traveling with or without your fur baby this property is perfect for a get away. The views are amazing. The property is great for evening walks or to let your dog run. Sharon is available if needed and is quick to reply. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful property.

Peaceful Retreat

This was the most relaxing getaway! This serene property offers amazing views and it is so quiet. The cabin is simple but has everything you need, including a comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. The wood fireplace makes it so cozy. Great place to curl up and read a book. Easy, responsive, and helpful communication with the host This was our second stay and can't wait to return!

Remote Getaway

This cabin is located out of town and provides a cozy living situation with a remarkable view. The cabin is basic but comfortable. We’ll stocked. Gail, the property manager, and Ron, the owner, were quick to respond when we needed some assistance.

Unique Place

This is not your ordinary rental home. This is a unique place that offers you an opportunity to truly enjoy the beauty of the area in a comfortable and functional living space. Sharon (owner) has put obvious effort into making this home special and was excellent with communication. Like other guests, I was sorry to leave and hopeful for the opportunity to stay here again.
