La maison est une maison de 2 étages-village. Les clients auront accès à partir de la rue Juiverie, 4 étapes à la salle d'accueil, où ils peuvent ranger les vélos, les équipements de golf ou autres engins, puis, 4 autres étapes au 1er étage, à "Première Loge", i. e. "Le V. I.P Box".
Cet appartement spacieux et épuré, ouvre sur une pièce principale éclairé par deux grandes fenêtres, à partir de laquelle vous pourrez profiter du spectacle permanent de la place du village animé, l'ambiance des cafés et restaurants.La cuisine entièrement équipée et salle à manger conviviale est accueillant. À côté de lui, le salon très confortable, qui peut, si nécessaire, être convertie en une chambre à coucher avec salle de bain, en rabattant le canapé et la fermeture des portes coulissantes.Last but not least, la chambre principale vous accueille dans un "Zen" et l'ambiance très raffinée.

This place is GREAT! The location simply could not be any better. The beds were comfy, the kitchen efficient, the AC strong, and the location, if you want to be dead center, in a beautiful little town, was perfect. We WILL be back.

We loved the location of the property. It was right in the middle of the village and above our favorite cafes and shops. So if we weren’t out immersed in the culture, we could open the windows and enjoy the view from above.

A lovely stay.

The apartment is spacious and well furnished, and the availability of the washing machine and tumble dryer is a great feature. Its position in the centre of the village, surrounded by cafés and bistros, meant we did not need to use the oven, but there is a microwave and induction hob as well. We hope to return to this apartment in the future.

Lively living in Lourmarin

This apartment totally lived up to my expectations. It was right in the center of town where, if you didn’t go outside, you could open the shutters and watch people stroll by and listen to street music many evenings. The owners were very accessible, gave us suggestions for good restaurants and places to visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Historical stone house with modern interior design

It's right in the middle of the town with shops and restaurants, very convenient. We also enjoyed the musicians' performance from the restaurant underneath. It's also very quiet when we closed the windows, so no need to worry about the noise from the streets. The apartment is clean and has everything we need, each room has it own a/c which is very important in summer. It also has washer and dryer in common area. Pascal is very helpful to introduce the unit and surrounding area.

Fabulous apartment, the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the village yet quiet behind the closed windows. You can literally sit next to the window and people watch as if you were sitting in the cafes/restaurants right below. The apartment has everything I can think of, nothing is missing. Every room has its own AC, what's amazing is after you turn off the living room AC and a full day out, when you return the temperature is still quite cool. Two toilets, two showers which is great. Washer and dryer that I really appreciate (I love having dryer, so much more convenient than drying rack). Host is good in communication, and gave a lot of good suggestions about what to see around. Our family had a great time.

Fabulous location, terrible bed!

This is a lovely unit with a unique placement in one of the best villages in Provence. I just had one issue: the bed is as hard as a rock. I enjoyed everything about the place, but a bad bed can ruin a stay. After my first night I looked through the reviews and wondered if there had been major changes over the winter. The mattress is made in Indonesia and is not a mattress per se, it is what we would call a box spring in the States. I'm not a finicky guy, having traveled six continents and slept everywhere. This is a delightful apartment with a terrible bed.

We are sorry that Jim did not like the bed. It is the first time we have a comment about the bed, wich is a top choice in professional bedding! He did not mention how helpful I was about different matters! En bref Un voyageur ingrat….

Lovely apartment in beautiful village!

We had an amazing time in Lourmarin! The apartment was comfortable and looks out onto a lively, beautiful square. It was very hot when we were there, so a/c was much appreciated! Hosts were helpful and responsive. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The place is situated in the center of one of the most beautiful vilages in the Luberon.

We were welcomed by the owners, received the keys and lots of suggestions for our stay. They were responsive to every request we had during our stay. We highly recommend the place.

The apartment is incredible! The view from the apartment looks right onto the town square and the hills of France. The apartment is very up to date with lovely furnishings and a Nespresso maker. I promise you won't want for more (washer & dryer too). The property manager Agnes went over and above to make us feel welcome. She left us so much information, communicated almost daily and offered no come by on her own time to make the most of our time in Lourmarin. We also met the owner of the apartment Pasqual. Again, he spent a great deal of time to make us feel welcome. The town of Lourmarin is a perfect central location to enjoy Provence. This is exactly the type of experience you want when you rent on VRBO. Merci, merci to Agnes & Pasqual for the outstanding experience we had renting your lovely apartment!!

Beautiful flat

Spacious, clean and well appointed flat in a beautiful village. Beds were firm but comfortable, water pressure great, bathrooms spacious for European standards. Kitchen with all appliances if needed. Would definitely stay here again!

L'appartamento accoglie comodamente 4 persone. Ci sono due camere da letto con due sale da bagno (di cui una con wc) e una toilette separata. Cucina completa di Tutto. La casa è molto bella, centralissima. Uniche pecche: cuscino per dormire troppo alto e duro, parcheggio lontano per cui l'unica scomodità riguarda caricare e scaricare i bagagli (Si può entrare in paese solo in alcuni orari), campanile che suona a tutte le ore anche di notte! Possibilità di utilizzare asciugatrice e lavatrice, panificio, bar, ristoranti e tutto il resto sotto casa. Lourmarin è deliziosa ed è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare il Louberon, bello il mercato del venerdì mattina!

Perfect place to stay in Loumarin!

This is a delightful apartment with a birds-eye view of the main pedestrian walkway through the Village. It is a delight to look out the window and view the Village life throughout the day. The apartment has everything you need and has very comfortable beds and living room furniture as well. The bathrooms are modern and function well. We stayed for four nights and we highly recommend this space for you.

Really enjoyed our stay at the apt. Very comfortable for two couples as it has two bathrooms and great bedrooms. Nicely furnished, great kitchen and views into the square. Jamie was very accommodating and the ease of booking and getting the keys, seamless.. would definitely recommend for couples or family. Lourmarin and area is beautiful. Well worth exploring...

Wonderful apartment in beautiful Lourmarin!

We just returned from a week's stay at this beautiful, perfectly located apartment in the village of Lourmarin. The owner, Pascal, met us upon arrival and gave us a complete orientation to the apartment and the village. The apartment is beautifully decorated and quite modern, as depicted in the photos. It can accommodate four people, as it has 2 bedrooms, each with a bathroom. Pascal was extremely helpful to us in answering our questions about Lourmarin and the surrounding towns and sights to see in the Luberon and Provence. He gave us a map and suggested daily itineraries and restaurants. We had a rental car and it was easy to visit the whole area from this lovely village of Lourmarin. If we return to Provence, we would definitely stay at this wonderful apartment in Lourmarin! Highly recommend!!

We share a passion for Travel and lived in Brazil, the US, Mexico, Germany, Tunisia, New Caledonia. We met 25 years ago and settled in the region. We now dedicate the third part of our life to our guests in the Luberon.
Laurence, is now a freelance interpreter working in Aerospace, Defence and Insurance, and was formerly in business, international trade adviser by the Marseilles Chamber of Commerce and industry. She lived in Germany, the US, Mexico and New Caledonia.
Pascal is now 100 % involved in “l’Ajoucadou”. He started his professional life more traditionally in Paris after studies in the prestigious French business School HEC, then worked for a big American consulting group and created his own computer company. He then took a sabbatical year, which was the starting point to 15 years dedicated to importing of handcrafts from all over the World.
Pascal just got back from a trip of 7 month in South America on his Bike. He started from French Guyana , down to Ushuaia, and then up on the mythic RUTA40 and carretera Austral to Bolivia.

The village of Lourmarin is situated at the entrance to the valley cut into the Luberon by the Aigue Brun river. It is surrounded by fields of vines and olive trees. It’s narrow cobbled streets, are lined with fountains. Classed one of the most beautiful villages in France it is home to a Roman church, a Protestant temple and a magnificent chateau.

Lourmarin has a lively but authentic atmosphere. Restaurants and cafes are plentiful. Charming boutiques line the main street. Artists can be seen at work in their studios. The writer Henri Bosco described Lourmarin as “the most charming village in the Luberon.” Throughout it’s history it has attracted writers, from Albert Camus to Peter Mayle, with its special atmosphere.

You will not find traffic lights or paid parking spaces in Lourmarin. Everybody is able to park and then explore its pedestrian old streets. Rue de La Juiverie where the Ajoucadou apartments are located is the oldest street in the village. It is now lined by antique shops, book shops, artist studios and stylish boutiques.

The weekend in Lourmarin begins every Friday morning with one of the largest and most colourful markets in the Luberon. Almost everything is on sale from wonderful food to poterie, Provencal linen, clothes, hats and baskets. From April to the end of September either on Saturday or Sunday, or on both days, Lourmarin also hosts either an antique market or an artisan market. These markets are great opportunities to pick up unique items for the home. Most weekend evenings there is also a musical recital at the Chateau.

Lourmarin is also the perfect base from which to tour the region. Aix en Provence, Arles, Saint Remy de Provence, Les Baux de Provence and Avignon are all within easy reach. As is the seaside. Resorts such as Cassis, Bandol, and Sanary Sur Mer, are all an hour away. Closer to home the picturesque villages of the Luberon await: Grambois, Gordes, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Goult, Ansouis, Cucuron, Vaugines.
