This was the second time my family stayed at this location. Helen is truly wonderful and helped us navigate our trip. She kept us informed of volcano eruptions and potential pitfalls of traveling around Ironman. As before, the location can’t be beat. Close to swimming with manta rays, snorkeling and Alii’ Drive but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. There is nothing better than the beautiful sunsets from the lanai. Amazing place to stay.

Wonderfully stay at Helen’s condo in n Kona. Helen was a great host and took great care of us.

Great place to stay for Kona vacation. Recommend the condo highly. We would stay again next time we are in Kona! Unit had everything we needed and our host brought us fresh fruit and delicious coffee.

Our Idea of Paradise

We were thrilled with this quiet, beautifully maintained property out of the Alli’I crowds and noise yet conveniently close to drive there. So spacious and comfortable. We absolutely loved the lanai and spent a lot of time relaxing there. Enjoyed looking over the grounds, golf course and ocean. Amazing sunsets. Supermarket and great restaurants just down the street too. Helen was a wonderful hostess.

Gorgeous property

You will not be disappointed. Location is centrally located for everything we had planned, snorkeling, coffee tours, national parks and so much history. The sunsets are beautiful from anywhere in the home. It was incredibly clean, comfortable and quiet to relax. Helen is lovely and brought us yummy avocados and coffee and made sure we were taken care of. Such an enjoyable time.

Excellent condo

From the condo to the property grounds, this condo was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is very clean and very well taken care of. The condo owner made sure we had clear directions to the condo, entry directions and even had her amazing coffee, fruit and avocados for us. She checked in with us to make sure everything was OK and was very easy to contact. We all enjoyed our stay here and very highly recommended it.

We were very pleased with the unit. Helen, our contact, was an excellent communicator. She made sure we had everything we needed. The unit was spotless and well-stocked. The ocean breeze during the day and the breeze from the mountains at night kept the unit extremely comfortable. There are plenty of ceiling fans, too, which are totally silent. So, we never needed to turn on the bedroom AC. The view from the lanai is delightful.I give this place a top rating!

Exceeded all expectations!

This place exceeded all expectations! Helen was very attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay special! She even provided a large basket of fruit from her own farm, which we enjoyed all week long. We've never tasted better pineapple, oranges, bananas, and lemons! The condo is clean, quiet, spacious, and very, very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub every evening. We took most of our meals on the large balcony, which provides a great view of the pool and the lovely grounds. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkels were provided, which we made use of several times during the week. When we return to the Big Island, this is where we'll stay -- no need to look anywhere else!

Our 11 day stay on the Big Island was fabulous! Ms Helen was so gracious to provide us with fresh fruit and avocados from her farm and a new rice cooker when I could not find one in the kitchen. Amazing ! The condo was clean, quiet, roomy and had everything we needed! Beach towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, paper plates, coolers and more! The location is close to downtown Kona and to a grocery store and restaurants. The A/C in the bedrooms is helpful on muggy nights! The porch has a gorgeous view and relaxing environment to watch sunsets. The pool and hot tub were refreshing after long days exploring! Thank you Helen for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Fantastic holiday!

Helen was truly an amazing host. She met us at the condo when we checked in to make sure everything was fine and we had no questions. She made 2 beautiful bouquets of flowers from her garden to grace the condo. Her large bowl of fresh fruit was greatly appreciated and delicious. She provided coffee grown on her trees that she harvested and roasted along with the descriptions. It’s the best coffee we ever tasted. Throughout our stay she answered questions, made some suggestions and offered to bring even more bounty from her garden. The condo itself was large and spacious and quiet. It overlooks the pool, a golf course and the ocean. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone considering renting on the Big Island. It is our favorite condo we have ever stayed in anywhere. The personal attention and her attention to detail made it most memorable.

I had the most amazing experience during my recent stay at this condo that exceeded all expectations. The location was perfectly situated, offering both a serene escape from the city and easy access to nearby attractions. However, the real highlight was the expansive lanai that offered stunning views of the surroundings, making it the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty. We’ve visited Kona many times over the years and this was one our most favorite visits, due in part to the comfort and convenience of this condo. Our host communicated well and in timely fashion. She answered right away when I called with a question at the start of our stay. We absolutely loved relaxing on the lanai each evening watching the sunset. We enjoy to cooking on vacation and we found this kitchen efficient and the dining area comfortable for our party of four. We used the air conditioning only once on a windless night. Otherwise, leaving the windows open provided abundant fresh air and cooling breezes day and night for our spring visit. This condo is in a small and friendly community very conveniently located next to the marina and one of our favorite and secret swimming spots. For this visit we were also focused on Volcanoes NP and South Complex so the location is excellent if you still want convenient access to the Kona area. Another perk we really appreciated was the beach chairs, umbrellas, beach mats, snorkeling gear and coolers. We made our own contribution of two new boogie boards.We absolutely plan to return.

Everything was as described, the beds were so comfortable, the lanai was unreal, and we wanted for nothing in the kitchen for cooking or in the beach items closet. We certainly found a gem in this property. The unit was the best we have had. So well thought out for guests. Furnishings were great. Helen, our host, thought of everything, so well stocked. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, coffee, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, Having the option for air-conditioning when the winds are not blowing was a great feature. The view was amazing. Quiet Island Paradise

Helen was an excellent and gracious host. The fresh papaya, sugarloaf, and coffee was a nice friendly touch. The condo was well stocked and very clean. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
